I'm starting to prefer a more responsive like this shoe and upgrading to a runner insoles to add some cushioning. Feel like its the best of both worlds.

I like them too. Did they hurt your feet at first and eventually get better? I feel zero cushion in the front and that kinda hurts my feet

But the plastic part on the outsole traction.
It's like a dead spot which means that for shifter players when doing moves like a snatch back you instantly slip. I'd say their good for outdoors as long as its a good court

Interestingly, I shot around in these last night and was planning to play in them, but I found the traction to be inconsistent so I changed to my Lebron 20s and those were much better. I came back here to double check if the traction needed break in time... 🤔 I'll give them another shot because otherwise I liked them.
How was the traction?
@stelekenekumized I haven't tried them again yet, but upon initial wear, the traction was inconsistent for me in a dusty court. Sometimes it was good, sometimes not so much. When it wasn't good, I felt unstable so I switched shoes. I'll give them another shot soon because reviews said traction was very good.

Sorry to hear bro. I would just wipe. They also have those sticky pads you can step on that you can buy

@@Jmooooney yeah wiping does nothing 😂 I even cleaned with a wash rag and sanded with sand paper to try and add some but to no avail 😂
@@GarthVadrTV I would try the harden vol. 6 full length durable herringbone and no translucent outsoles. I got mine for 65 bucks on sale at finish line I still think they have some for around 85 bucks… well worth it. Full reveiw on my profile. I would try to return them if they aren’t safe to play in. @Justine Galimba Depends how u like u'r fit. If u like a little room go 0.5 up. If u like a perfect fit go tts.
@@Nomasiac i have the speed 8 premium size 10.5 too long for my feet. But the width is ok. A little roomy for my toebox. Sometimes if i do hard stop my feet is sliding forward.

How does it compare to speed 8?
I have both shoes for me I'll pick the speed 9 premium. Any kinds of courts it performs well unlike the speed 8 premium when the court is dusty the traction is inconsistent but the speed 8 cushion is good. In speed 9 you need to breakin it first before you feel the cushion.

if you have plantar fasciitis on your foot it is better you stay away from the 808 2 as the shoe itself is too flexible. Speed 9 over all material is much more durable
In my opinion the 808 2 is the best shoe I have ever played in and I’ve been a hooper and sneaker head my whole life. I haven’t tried the speed 9 tho.
