How to Start a Membership Site (...just start!!)

- With everything that’s going on in the world right now, creating a membership site for your audience means that you can grow a stable and successful business that generates recurring revenue. But regardless whether it’s a membership site, a course or an e-commerce website, the majority of people never even get their idea off the ground.
I'm on a mission to help inspire female entrepreneurs and to share strategies that can help you to live an amazing life and achieve incredible business success!
So many of us are guilty of this: we get into our own heads and we get hung up about having tons of content and everything looking “perfect” before we even try to share our idea with the world.
It’s the difference between those who stay stuck and those who go on to create successful businesses: success comes from finding the courage to launch way before you have it all figured out!
This happens because we compare our chapter one to someone else’s chapter 20, so in this episode I wanted to give you a look at my own chapter one.
I want to take you back in time and show you how much I really didn’t have things figured out when I first launched decided to create a successful membership site, and how - through imperfect action, and not perfect inaction - I've grown it to 5,000 paying members!

I really appreciated this video! My business is helping new homeschoolers and I've been steadily growing and would love to start a membership but feel just like you did in the beginning, worrying that I don't have a ton of content to offer! But I really do want to just start with what I have and hope that it gets off the ground. Thank you for this really helpful video.

Hi Carrie, thank you for the video. I am considering starting a membership site. I am wondering, what is an easy way to set it up in such a way that new monthly members could only have access to the months they subscribed but not the older contents (and their respective community comments). In this way, it would be more fair to the old members , who paid for those old contents before.

Launched Creationation just last week out of the blue. Something I've wanted to do forever, and I just pulled the plug. A bit daunting, but I guarantee you will always be glad you started rather than wait. This was a great video. Very reassuring.

Hi Carrie, I'm spending my Sunday binging your videos and I do have a question. On which plateorm have your started your membership website? Was it a wordpress? I'm quite unsure about what is good to use in term of "technical plateform" to launch as well as with which platform people are gonna pay through etc.
