I just don’t understand how you’re living arrangements has anything to do with what you’re supposedly trying to teach people about selling other peoples belongings for a living and turning a profit doing it I could’ve went without the whole first part of the video. After watching your video I realised that I made a choice recently that gave me a feeling of financial abundance. I am from Italy and extra virgin olive oil is a staple in the kitchen, and in Italy it is always in a glass bottle. But I used to buy it in a plastic bottle because it was the cheapest, to save money, living in England. Now the oil in the plastic bottle is more expensive than the one in the glass bottle, so last week I bought it in a glass bottle and it just gives me a feeling of luxury every time I use it :)

Hello Carrie, you are such an inspiration, i am going through exactly similar situations that you went through. I want build a network to empower kids and like you said taking action by adding value does bring in new opportunities and you just know coz the electricity in the air is different. Thanks for sharing your story and guidance as it helps encourage us in those down moments or doubt moments when you start questioning everything. Absolute clarity to one's mind is so important. Haven't listened to everything as yet, but this question about whether to use a business brand or your personal brand: speak to a lawyer and accountant about this. No friend, so-called expert etc. The reason is that for accounting purpose, business finance and personal finance SHOULD be separate! You can use your own name, but ensure that your finances are separate. For intellectual property reasons, its hard to sell the brand of you if you decide to close the business. Even if you don't want to sell, ensuring your business is sellable makes sure you're compliant. SPEAK TO A LAWYER AND/OR ACCOUNTANT. No one else. Once you understand the pros and cons of both, then you can make an educated decision. Its good to trust your gut, but its also good to actually understand your choices before you make one. Read the two sides of the coin, then work with your gut.

Thank you for sharing this. When naming my business I considered “is this something I’d want to sell later in life” with that in mind a brand name was more beneficial for me. But I did have this struggle before my reasoning.
