One of the coolest Polar Express items that Lionel has released is the O-gauge Polar Express Trolley. In this video, I’m going to unbox my new trolley, and check it out.
In these videos, I’m continuing to build and expand my O-gauge Polar Express Model Railroad Layout.

I bought this Polar Express Trolley Set online from Grzyboski’s Train Store. It shipped quickly, and their retail price was great. Also, they showed the shipping charges right up front. So I knew the total cost before I ordered. That’s not the case with all of the online retailers I deal with. I really appreciate retailers who are upfront with their shipping charges.

The Polar Express Birney trolley. So what’s a”Birney” trolley? A Birney or Birney Safety Car is a type of trolley that was manufactured in the United States from about 1915 through 1930. They’re named after the inventor. These were originally small, light trolleys, built on a single truck. If you want to know more about Birney trolleys, I’ve included a link to a Wikipedia article above. For pictures of Birneys, I also have a link to the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority article. Located in Dallas, they’re still operating Birney trolleys today.

I wonder if the Polar express has many different forms?
I could not buy the set, never realizing you needed all this to make it run. Where can I buy a controller that will work with his Trolley now?
