The Bucks haven’t won a championship since 1971 and Giannis finally got them another title. Could you imagine if he went to NY and did the same for the Knicks??? Giannis doesnt owe anybody anything. Way more often than not he is all in. Hes tagged along with the early trade demand thing but at least he delivered on his promise to Milwaukee and isnt actively cappin about it.

@@johnnyface the Bucks don’t have any valuable players though man. Jrue is 33, and hasn’t been very great the past two postseasons. Middleton hasn’t been the same since he got hurt, and even before then, he was just an overpaid, inconsistent, 20 ppg scorer. Their most valuable player is Brook Lopez, and if they lose him they’re done. It’s over for the Bucks.

Tbh I think what Giannis needs right now is a great pg. Yes, every star could help his chances for a chip, but #1 is his real deal. I'm not talking about steph or other great pgs like him. Steph might be the best but his apg isn't ideal plus he is not getting any younger and so does other all star pgs. Giannis wish list should be either Luka or Trae. Both young, tested and reached all star level plus chips hungry and above all can help with both apg feeding him and ppg.
@@user-zd9vy4nw1e why do you think Curry’s assists are so low? He’s the best shooter on the floor and if Klay is cold, he is forced to play hero ball. When KD was there, he passed a lot more. With Giannis, Curry would have a huge inside threat to finally pass to.
The bottom line is that Giannis will be 30 soon, he can't keep playing like he's 25 forever. If he does, he will burn. That's why he needs fresh blood around him. Someone he can rely on when he gets injured, for example. Steph may be the greatest shooter of all time, I get that, but his best years are behind him. Luka and Trae are both hungry for titles, so they are the best options for Giannis to team up with.
Ps. Steph's apg wasn't higher after kd join gsw. Steph is not so much of an assist pg, never was.
I don't hate steph, he's a monster. I was the first one to say mj was wrong when he said he's not a hof yet. But let's face it, even Lebron managed to have a 10 apg year, if Steph could do it she would have by now, he's just wasn't made for that. Giannis needs someone to feed him, not the other way around

The Nets gave up both a future all-star in Jarrett Allen to Cleveland (to add in another 1st to Houston from them) AND an excellent young player at the time in Caris LeVert (to help send Oladipo to Houston). Kurucs, Allen, LeVert, and control of 7 firsts was the deal in the end, which is WAY more than what you mentioned.

Plus they're deep in young assets like Jaden Hardy, Jalen Green, Dereck Lively and OMax. They'll also have solid expiring deals like THJ and Holmes that can be packaged for salary filler. Are they the faves based on pure assets? Maybe not. But if Giannis says he wants the Mavs only, that's a pretty solid offer.

the bucks absolutely have a good shot at winning the chip. in 2022 middleton was injured vs the celtics and in 2023 giannis got injured and missed some time and some bad luck with both how hot the heat played and what Budenholzer went through during that series. the bucks are kind of old and they aint getting younger but their current age is prime championship winning age since most championship teams are normaly on the older side ie (2010 laker, 2020 lakers, 2022 warriors, 2019 raptors, 2008 celtics, 2011 mavs, 2014 spurs etc) and the buck just had the best regular season record in the league at 58 wins and have a complete roster. their window maybe short but thats the case with most true contenders

Not an OKC fan but their stash of draft picks is definitely a deal maker for the Bucks and their lack of future picks. Throw in a couple young players and an expiring veteran contract to match money and the bucks would be back from the brink of extinction post Giannis.
Realistically it'll be a big market team or whoever the media and their agents can spam stories about till the deal feels "fair".
As a Kings fan, that Giannis package seems so amazing, but I don't think we'd pull the trigger. The fanbase and the organization know that Keegan Murray is the future centerpiece for our franchise, so I think adding him on the trade block would be too much for us.

The Knicks make the most sense, 11 first round picks including the Bucks own pick which will be valuable after the trade, tons of youth for the Bucks to pick from (RJ, IQ Grimes) and there in contender range as they can field RJ/Randle, Brunson and depth to keep them stay competitive.
