I don't think Chandler is comfortable with Chris. If you seen that live stream from MrBeast a few days ago (Or like a week ago now), you could see Chandler was quite uncomfortable being around Chris. People can be "awkward" around someone who is trans too and still support them, when my friends came out as trans I 100% supported them and told them I love them no matter what but when we saw each other, it was awkward, because you have to change the way you think of them.
