    I haven't used the pre cleaner yet. I have learned that you really must work the Zorb into the carpet well, until you can no longer see it. The Zorb leaves a nice fresh clean scent behind. So far the only negative I have is about finding it other than through Dyson directly but a bag does last a long time.

      You can buy it online from pretty much any decent retailer. And yes, you have to rub it in like when you clean anything. Just get a brush and rub over the carpet a few times like in the video. It's much quicker than using water based methods and machines, including drying time.

      @@VacuumFacts Not as easy to find in the US locally. I need to get a brush like the one you used as so far I have been using a hand brush and getting down on the floor. Is the brush you use soft bristled?

      @@Boodieman72 Do Amazon not supply and deliver Zorb and Dysolv? Yes, any soft indoor sweeping brush will do. If it's too course, like an outdoor brush, it is hard to use on carpets. I still think there's a business opportunity for an entrepreneur to come out with an affordable motorised tool for scrubbing microsponges in. Sebo do a machine, but it's very hard to get/expensive. I've discussed the machine in this video czcams.com/video/Myt2qzO_kcE/video.html

    Demonstrates how well and effective dry powder carpet cleaning is.

    • @VacuumFacts
      @VacuumFacts  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah, although it's not actually 'dry' or a powder; it's fine pulp soaked with solvents that turns to dirt-filled dust.

      That’s true, me just incorrectly referring to it as that.

    I'm desperate to try this on my car carpet and a few stains that just can't be cleaned by the water based cleaners. I've already tried a rug doctor and a big green and they both failed. And on the car carpet I've used a water based extractor but it never gets the job done either. I used to think that it would take a miracle to clean these carpets and that I should just remove them and replace them with new carpets, but after looking at Zorb and dysolv videos that you've made, I can see the real issue. Those just aren't great ways to get all of the deep stain out of the carpet. I need to see for myself if these cleaners will really do the job.

    • @VacuumFacts
      @VacuumFacts  Před 3 lety

      The situation, stain type, and how well it's used will govern success. Zorb was designed for carpets really, rather than upholstry. My playlist demonstrates the ways to use it (and Dyzolv) for a range of stain types czcams.com/play/PLBxUOcW7kaEu8EFLi2rq3aU9A1QTQ0Xkp.html

      @@VacuumFacts Not the upholstery, that came out clean. Just the floor carpet of the car and the stains in my room carpet. My pet urinated there one day and somehow it hasnt come out no matter what carpet washer I used. I'm planning to use it on both and I wont complain if my car carpet doesnt come out clean, nor will I complain if it doesnt clean the urine. I'm expecting it not to, but after looking further into it, I know my carpet quality in my home will, at the very least, greatly improve compared to what it is now. But nothing will be known for certain for me until I try it, which I will once stock becomes available.

    I bought the zorb cleaner and used the v11 cleaner head to try and scrub the cleaner in the fibers. Did not see a result homestlh because the zorb was still as yellow as it was on the bag. I shouldve used a real thick brush.
    Btw, ive noticed that after i use the v11, dirt gets lodged into the brushbar when you take off the roller. It gets compacted into the plastic ring where alot of ppl say it breaks within a period of time because there's no rubber seal. Check your high torque cleaner head to be sure

    • @VacuumFacts
      @VacuumFacts  Před 4 lety

      My head is fine. No dust gets where it isn't supposed to go. Most people talk crap and don't present very convincing evidence that there is any problem on this issue. It's most likely user error, like many situations they present are later shown to be, and are misleading people, knowingly or otherwise.

      @@VacuumFacts i agree. It gets annoying when ppl say how overpriced dyson products are. Its premium equiptment. But i will say for my v11, i see dust clumping on the motor side of the high torque cleaner head. I guess yours is flawless. I will admit. It gets annoying tk have to take out the brushroll to remove the packed in dust and dirt after a cleaning run, but this vac cleans my home too well for me to stop using it

    Those sponges seem a bit too filthy. For severe situations like this, would you suggest further applications of sponge until the colour becomes lighter or is that a waste of resources?

  • @natej4230
    @natej4230 Před 4 lety

    According to some carpet manufacturers, they will not stand behind their guarantee / warranty if you use a Dyson on the carpet, it supposedly frays the carpet pile and shreds the fibers, while leaving dirt on the bottom. Why is this?

    • @VacuumFacts
      @VacuumFacts  Před 4 lety +2

      Because they're idiots that don't formally and scientifically evidence reasons behind their prejudice, and you shouldn't ever buy anything from them. Plenty of idiots will believe them without strong scientific evidence though.
