i own a LANCIA delta '10 and I have to say that the new horizontal grill looks disgusting. vertical was much better.
i also have to say that this is a much MUCH better car than most of the people here might suspect.
Why? The original Delta was an elegant, refined family hatchback. Just like this. The Delta wasn't only the HF Integrale...
All I can say (as a person who has actually driven a modern day FIAT/Alfa/Lancia group vehicle) is PLEASE COME TO AMERICA ASAP!!! Whether it's badged at Chrysler or not, the USA is desperate for smaller high quality cars and engines that one can own and use. It's about time. Also, Chrysler should take advantage of FIAT's high quality turbo diesel engines!! This is especially true for the Jeeps! Before some comment, they should actually be familiar with the cars first before spewing ignorance.
I don't get it? They chose to rebrand it Chrysler over Lancia? Where's the logic in that? Both have similar reputations for falling apart but at least Lancia has some history of decent driving cars.

@thatciggaweed it's a Fiat Bravo underneath, not a Punto. However this is a 4 year old car now...
@minibus1351 , I don't know about the UK, but sometimes it works, here in Egypt and the Middle east we barely hear of the Lancia brand. :)
Agree about not showing the interior. Looks, fit and finish are getting pretty important with these cars. If the Chryslers in the US are anything to judge by, it may be pretty good. It does look a bit kooky next to a Focus, though.
@donzaliko This car has been sold as Lancia Delta for a couple of years in Europe now, before Fiat bought Chrysler group, thats why its funny that its sold as Chyrisler in UK now.

It's now a Chrysler! It's a LANCIA! Search for Lancia Delta on google. In Uk it's badged as a Chrysler, because Fiat group have bought Chrsyler... Here, in Europe we have all the engine in the Delta from Uk, plus 1.9 diesel bi-turbo and 1.8 tbi 200 Hp.

I like how people knock the car for being a Chrysler when the host deliberately states that it is Lancia designed and engineered. In otherwords, Chrysler had very little to do with it.

@Irishgamer01 She is into cars; she's a very experienced journalist who has been writing for Autocar for years. I get that she doesn't exactly translate her passion on video, but it doesn't mean it's not there. She has driven, tested and reviewed more cars of all shapes and sizes than you or I ever will.

@INUMIMI28 Keep in mind the link between Lancia who is a part of the FIAT group and Chrysler. Naturally, there may be a HUGE market of Chrysler selling rebadged FIAT/Alfa/Lancia products in places like North America the way Lancia is selling rebadged Chryslers in their lineup. Here in the USA, we have been in DESPERATE need of smaller, but high quality cars, that people can not only afford to buy, but to run. Who cares about the $35,000+ huge V-8 Chrysler cars offered in America??

It's a nice car.the Chrysler badge just ruins the design and the angles of the video don't applause it's lines.if you haven't seen it or driven it or both you can misjudge it easily!standsout with it's retro '30s mask for sure!and it's a lancia!

Without their huge domestic market Detroit manafacturers would have gone out of business long ago. As it is the huge demand for trucks on the American market is what those manafacturers make all their money from. Despite this both GM and Chrysler were given the "government bail-out" treatment to save the jobs.

i dont know if its just me but i just cant take a chick's advise about a car seriously. lol
i drove the delta five months ago for over 500 miles and i believe that its more fun to drive than a focus,it has a very nice and quiet interior.the 1.4 with 155bhp engine is realy good and its economical.its a good deal i believe.sorry for my english!!!

@777lucifero Ofcourse many models like Beta had the bad reputation in the UK mainly due to its vulnerableness to corrosion, ended up withdrawing in British market in the earlhy 1990s. But I'm pretty sure many British motorists know that's a thing of a past, and most of all, Lancia has cults all over the world.
