Best thing I did to my 328, hook the engine out and drop in an M54b30 with a lightweight flywheel. 👍🏼

@@HardlyExotic best bang for the buck, one thing to consider on the M54b30 if your using it hard on track, is the oil pump mod, I learnt the hard way 😂

Oh dear, did it grenade? The real secret is to fit an ATI super damper and you'll negate the balance issues on the 3.0 and above at high rpm

If you want a middle of the road smf upgrade u can go to the stock smf that came on basemodel early 320i without AC. They came from the factory with smf and sprung clutch disc. Its a bit lighter than the dmf and has a more direct feel.
