With training, Lizzie could have been the best Whisperer ever. And I like to imagine Clare wandering around the prison, never bathing and saying weird sh*t constantly.
This is one of my favourites - the idea of being stranded in another country with no help or supplies is haunting. Survival is hard enough on your own turf with your own people. Really glad you covered Eddie and Clara!
The comics did the Lizzie story better. It was two brothers, that Andrea and Dale adopted. One killed the other. While the adults at camp are trying to decide how to deal with the psycho, kid Carl sneaks into the van and shoots him because no adult wanted to kill the kid
It was cool but it was over quickly. The show had much more build up and played out better.
There's a back and forth that I like where I can't say overall which I like better as some things they changed for the better but I agree with you here.
The episode was out of place and there was too much emphasis on the adults in a story that is about the children who are just learning how to live in the world they are in.
The adults have to cope with everything changing. The kids are adapting naturally. Carl recognized that the one boy was not safe to be around and made the decision the adults couldn't.
Something I’ve never seen anyone bring attention to before- when Lizzie, Mika, Judith and Tyrese leave the prison, they are joined by children Luke and Molly. Yet when we see them again, Luke and Molly are gone. Lizzie Mika and Tyrese all pretend like Luke and Molly never existed, when in reality they probably watched them die… a shocking detail overlooked by the show
The show: Fuck them kids 🤷🏻♀️
Yep I wondered what happened to the two other kids 😮
@@mrsdixon3524 their remains were found on the train tracks
I’m going to be honest with you Lizzie scared me during season 4 and when she was going to kill Judith after she killed Mika I was freaking out and saying to myself “Get rid of this girl!” She is one of scariest child in this show and I’m glad Carol killed her and I know it sad but they couldn’t risk it. Fun fact in season 8 episode 1 I believe if I’m right when Carol was on the high she was looking at a drawing of flowers which is a call back to Lizzie. Carol had the right.
It’s funny I never noticed the flower picture in season 8 until doing the all out war video. So many small details in that season that get over looked.
But I agree, when that episode aired, it was the first one my dad watched with me and afterwards he said “what kind of a sick show is this” lol
@@Swell-Films lmao yeah I love when they do these small call backs and easter eggs. I think Carol will never forget that day
For a minute I was thinking "one of the scariest children" was a weird thing to say, like there's not many scary children in TWD, But then I remembered that one episode where Michonne meets an old friend who leads a cult of murderous children.
Also the fact that she was "sad" that she killed one of the Governor militia man with an headshot. She said something like "I didn't want to shoot her in the head, I wanted her to reanimate"
Look at the flowers was such a brilliant part of that season. Carol showed such a huge range of emotions, and it got me so teary eyed. One of my favorites
Tbh imagine if lizzie survived and somehow joined to whisperers or even founded her own group with a walker culture, living together with them and almost seeing them as equals?
I know it wouldn't really make sense but i wish alpha was lizzy and it was a mystery until alpha said "im sorry please don't be mad at me" and have a oh shit! moment
I always found flight 462 to be terrifying. The Jake was talking to his mother as the plane left and she stayed behind for another flight only for the dead to start attacking in the airport. He saw the lights go out. Alex notices something is wrong with a man on board and tries to save the rest of the passengers. The air marshal on the plane tried to shoot the zombie but one of the bullets hit a window causing issues with the cabin. As the flight went down the flight attendant, who was bit took off her oxygen mask, showing that she knew what would happen. The thing that caught my attention the most was Alex knowing to aim for the head which makes me wonder where she came from and what her background is.
That last one really disturbed me at the time.
I think it was the most disturbing for me because I could kinda empathise with Jocelyn. Like, she was objectively right: kids with no knowledge of the past world were blank slates to be the perfect survivors/soldiers. Hell, African warlords have shown the world how effective it is to build a child army. The right idea from Jocelyn, but she’d obviously gone off the deep end and wasn’t the right person to lead those children.
Great vid as ever Ty 🙌🙌
I think Alexandria has the right approach with teaching children survival in a school like setting. They’ll be knowledgeable and not feral lol.
Thanks for watching!
No, if anything the use of Child Soldiers by African Warlords shows that kids make bad soldiers.
Kids raised ina violent system will become violent, and the show repeatedly makes clear that society can only exist when people rise above the violence.
Absolutely agree Alexandria had the right idea with the way they taught the children, although they never seemed to teach them much in the way of survival over combat (or at least not that we saw), whereas you could bet those kids would’ve been fine surviving without Jocelyn.
@@Swell-Filmsthe children in Alexandria and the other communities were basically idiots still making basic mistakes and doing stupid things as if they were unaware of the danger they were in
The most disturbing walking dead story for me up to this day, is your #2 look at the flowers... 😪
You should cover the cannibal people that connie and virgil encountered in season 11. Its a good way to show how far people would go for survival, and how there is far more scary things than walkers in the world.
They would definitely be a good addition for this series. I do already have a video covering them, but maybe they could still be included in a short segment.
Wasn’t it season 11? But maybe those people were Randall’s group
@@ThorstenDerWeberknecht your right it was season 11
He does have a video on them. It’s called the Wendigos of The Walking Dead. Great vid.
@Swell-Films the video was great but I imagine a story from connies perspective as a deaf person and trying to escape the horrific people in that house
Whether or not Carol made the best decision isn't really a discussion. She didn't *have* a choice to make. It's awful. Under other circumstances, hell, even even if it was still an apocalypse but the prison hadn't fallen, they could've even considered the idea that she could be taught and changed. But given the situation?
She didn't have a choice. Lizzie never had a chance, and it's nobodies fault that it ended the way it did. Not Lizzies, not Carols, and not Tyreeses. But that was the only choice that could've been made. They weren't in a position where they could afford to take on the danger Lizzie didn't know she was putting them in.
Burying her gave her and her sister gave them some dignity in death, but that's about all they could do for them.
The Grove is the only episode I've only watched once because it was so heartbreaking. IMO Carol made the right decision, impossible as it was, since nobody would be safe with Lizzie around, not just Judith. And she couldn't very well leave her to fend for herself where she'd almost certainly end up getting eaten by a walker/walkers.
Clara's story was sad on a bittersweet kind of way. She got what she wanted from Rick, which was to be allowed to turn, but after turning of course she didn't even remember Eddie anymore and wandered off only to reappear with the walkers at the prison after it fell and the governor was killed.
Michonne having to kill all those children was also sad but it somehow didn't get to me the way The Grove did for some reason. I think it's because it was now obvious that the writers were setting up a moral dilemma and wanting to manipulate the viewer's emotions.
The line where Carol talks Lizzie down and just says "Judith can't even walk yet" always haunts me. She had to use Lizzie's effed up logic to get her to stop.
I remember almost crying watching the grove they were just kids
Great video! All 3 are crazy but Look at the Flowers is the most disturbing one for me. Easily one of the most disturbing moments of the whole series.
I have enjoyed your explanations on these environmental stories and very excited for volume 2! The most disturbing story in my opinion is the one Maggie told the group about the old man in season 11. Thank you for this video!
Fun fact: Clare is the actress who plays Mike's daughter in law in Breaking Bad and also does the voice of Iron Man's A.I. FRIDAY in the later movies. She has a lot of other pretty big acting credits too
Kids in the walking dead universe didn't last long
Unless You’re Comic book Carl Tv Show Judith and Hershel Jr
The ones who survive would be absolute units though.
I remember when I saw S4-E1 the first time I was thinking why would they leave in all the scenes with this woman that don't move the story forward at all. Rick is the only witness to their story and he never brings it up ever again. I suppose you could argue its good world building and at least gives Rick some more character development, as if we don't get enough of that over the 9 seasons where he's the main character. You could say that since we've been focused on the prison for so long the show wants to remind us our group are the lucky ones who found each other, and made a safe haven, and it's likely foreshadowing the second half of season 4 where our group is once again split up and on the road, in a similar situation to Claras.
Look at the flowers still haunts me up to this day...!!! ✖️
Man rick wouldve gone full governor on those kids had they took judith at the end
💀😂😂😂😂😂
You right and I can’t fight it😂😂😂
Thanks for making these campfire story videos along with your environmental story telling videos as not only are they deep dives or theory videos done right but they are great refreshers for events that happened in some cases many years ago in relation to when they first appeared in the series. It especially applies to the "Look at the flowers" storyline as I remembered how it ended but forgot what lead to it.
What’s crazy is Georgia as a whole already looks like an apocalyptic wasteland
"Look at the flowers" really got to me when it aired😕. Sad situation all around but what did the number to me, is that it was Carol that had to act on it.
We definitely need more vids like this, I’ve always enjoyed looking into little stories like this with more depth.
It’s crazy to think how huge this channel would be if you created it back in the early days of the TWD.
Definitely continue! I feel you either missed some things with each of these stories but I could be wrong as they were mostly interpretations. Really enjoy your content, thank you! Oh and I think Carol did the only thing that could be done in that situation with Lizzie unfortunately.
I love these short story videos and your take on them
Love your Contin keep up the good work
Omg I completelyyyyyyyyyyy forgot about that last story. Love these videos soooooo much
Yes please keep going with this series I love it
Love your content! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much!
Great work! Glad someone is addressing all these story lines and theories what about the wolves?
I believe Lizzie was a Quisling, or at the very least she was in the process of becoming one.
In the book World War Z a Quisling is an uninfected human who believes they are a zombie. It’s never explained what causes the syndrome but the CZcamsr Unnatural History Channel suggested it could be a combination of Stockholm syndrome and Cotard's syndrome.
The two most common factors in someone developing Stockholm syndrome are a distasteful for authority and sympathies for the hostage taker. Lizzie has if my memories serves me correct at least one of the factor. That factor being sympathy towards the hostage taker. In this context the hostage taker being the walkers. Now I don’t exactly remember her having any distasteful authority, but it has been a good few years since I’ve seen the episode featuring her. So I’ll leave it to your discretion to decide if she has the other main factor.
Now Cotard's syndrome is a little bit more complicated but the general condition is you believe you are dead or you have lost your soul. Now that part is fairly simple. The complicated part is what causes it because we have no idea. We’re pretty it is related to a few dissociative disorders, but we really aren’t too sure yet with our current understanding. Now I am unsure if Lizzie has this condition, but it wouldn’t surprise. Especially considering she knows that everyone is infected so in a way everyone already has 1 foot in the grave, at least metaphorically. This knowledge could begin to theoretically cause her to disassociate with the idea of life, which could possibly maybe trigger Cotard's syndrome. But that is just speculation.
That’s a good point
Good stuff mate really love your videos
Thanks so much! Appreciate you watching
These videos are great holy
Another amazing review. I always wonder what happened to Jocelyn’s remaining escaped kid (yet another great idea for Tales vs what we got)
And yes Ty please continue these excellent stories
looking back on all these stories is really fun
I enjoy this series, definitely keep it up

You should do some Disturbing Campfire Stories around Telltale Games The Walking Dead Series.
Lizzie would of made a hell of a whisperer, but i think Carol did the right thing in the end especially after Lizzie killed Mika it was only going to be a matter of time till she moved onto the rest after Judith. In that scenario there wasn't really anything they could do since they weren't equipped at all to help her mentally.
I remember back in November of 2010 the first time I heard Jim's story of how he lost his family and for some reason that one got to me
On my lunch at work, so happy I got something to watch while I eat 😂
Carol made the right choice putting her down a threat to a baby and to others has to be put down
In the wastelands, people become the dead of who they once were
We are the walking dead
I felt so bad for Clara. And poor Carol, having to kill Lizzie. But she had no choice. Lizzie would have not only stabbed Judith, but Carol and Tyreese too. I also felt so bad for Michonne, having to not only killing her friend, but those kids.
I feel like in the look at the flowers episode i remember that even though lizzy is shooting at the walkers and carol noticed she wasn't aiming
Thats so scary. Its like Frank & Klaus were trapped here from Germany along with the other germans. Its sad their families were left behind. Wonder if his Frank's ex wife survived or not.
Lizzy is a top 10 unique character in the TWDU. Her storyline is still one of my favorites.
I never realized that was Clara as a walker
I always thought the flashback scene where the terminas group is in the conex box and you can hear someone being violated. And one of the bad guys picks out a girl to do God knows what to her.
That’s definitely a story I will include in future instalments. Such a dark one.
You are doing what they should be doing in tales of the walking dead!
I think Carol made the right choice, none of them would be safe if she lived
Lizzie and Clara... In this world, any kind of mental illness will be exacerbated. In Clara's case, so desperate to not be alone, she kept her husband in a basket. Lizzie, there was no other option. This would have just gotten more dangerous as time went one. Michonne, you hit the nail on the head. I like the juxtaposition between Lizzie, Herschel and Celia. Lizzie think's they're "alive" but wants to create more, Herschell think's they're "alive", just sick so he cares for them in his barn and Celia thinks the walkers are a new life form created by God, so she keeps them safe in her wine cellar. Her killing of the parishioners was in order to protect her charges, not create more... nor does she think it'a a curable illness. I kinda liked Celia. Unlike Lizzie, Herschel and Celia did what they did from a deep felt sense of caring. Lizzie was just coo coo for cocopuffs...
Have you heard the theory that Lizzie actually saw a Whisperer and that's what convinced her the Walkers were alive? Could also explain Morgan saying the dead were wearing people's faces?
I thought it was cool
TY SWELL FOR PRESIDENT 💯 your on a roll aren't you
Haha thanks mate!
@@Swell-Films no problemo bro
Love this series.
Thanks for watching! It’s been really fun to make so I’m glad it’s getting a positive reception
How unlucky you must be to get married sround the same time the apocalypse begins? Poor Clara and Eddie...
Can you do a video about the walker in the tank in season 1?
Babe woke up new ty swell video
Crazy that after the Governor attacked she came out of the woods because of all the noise of the tank and battle
We see the Irish womans walker during too.
Really glad Carols story arc, is so different to the comics.
I always wondered what happened to the adults, the parents of the children with Joselyn. I think they were killed... by their own children.
Almost guarantee it. Like a test for them. Although I imagine it started with good intentions
“Wilson”😭😭
By all means please continue the series.
I hated the Lizzy character and the orchard episode, my god that girl drove me crazy it was hard to find understanding for her even with it being a child. I don't see any other way to handle it other than like Carol did.
I like these videos, stories. I stopped watching after carl died and my memory sucks. So i like hearing stories i do not remember, did not notice or did not see.
Plus all those side stories, little survivor stories, environment showing a story, so on, are good to hear.
Carol did what she had to and it was sad and shocking, traumatic. There was no time, support or way of helping.
Michonne and those kids, it is awful, but understandable. Simply self defense, those kids seemed beyond saving from the little i see here. It is not like she wanted to do it, but in survival you do things to live. Sadly even ending up doing what you do not want to and not saving those you want to.
There's a theory going around that lizzy might have seen the whisperers back when they were still down south. It would be a terrifying realization for the group if they found out they were always close by to them without there knowledge
In the comics the choice on how to handle the twins was interesting, not that it wasn't in the show. The main difference was that the adults didn't know what to do so Carol made the choice to put down the remaining twin. He talks about shooting the last twin with Morgan and mentions that, "He looked like he was happy to see me. Like I was going to ask him to play."
Dog has died 😢 Rip Seven
So sad :( Rip
Amazing video! Pls male more❤❤❤❤
Do the trash people or more on ocean side
Still love toy covering these little stories
One of the scariest moments was Rick running into that lady. It’s like she couldn’t kill herself 😢
I wish Lizzie and Mika could’ve survived. I thought they had potential to become great characters. Especially if we could see Mika getting older and realizing she had to kill in order to survive and Lizzie either leaving and then coming back or coming around to the idea of what the Walkers actually are. Either way, The Grove is one of the best written episodes of TWD. It’s creepy, disturbing, and the heartbreak of it all considering Carol is the only person still alive that can remember and still carrying that pain.
week 6 of asking for the trunk story
Are you referring to the walker Maggie finds in season 5? I can definitely see if there’s a story to tell, I always just figured there wasn’t enough evidence to piece together anything more than what we see presented
From season 2 in the traffic jam? That would be pretty cool
@@novatryxward9372in a later season a walker is found bound and gagged in the back of a trunk, the implication is that she was actually kidnapped before the fall, but during the initial outbreak the kidnapper leaves their car to run away, leaving the girl to die in the trunk slowly
@@Swell-Films thank you so much
personaly my favorite one has allways been and allways shall belook at the flowers because it shows us how this kind of world can break iven the most inocent people like that girl who's name i forgor iven though I just watched the video
Ssh, it’s ok- just look at these 🌸 🌺💐🌷🌹🌻
Maggie’s story about finding the torso bodies of women in random house
Already done
They were pregnant, huh?
I wish Mika survived 😢 I know they killed her to show Lizzies madness and for shock value and the other 2 random kids that ran at the prison right before Lizzie shot Taras Gf
What is the name of background ambient ? It's really good
I switched between a few tracks you can find in the CZcams studio audio library,
“Dead forest” - Brian Bolger
“Apocalyptic Echoes” - Jimena Contreras
“Frightmare” - Jimena Contreras
“In the void” - amulets
I like to mix them together, reverse, and adjust speed so you may have to play around with the tracks to get it sounding the exact same.
@@Swell-Films Thank you , this music in the background perfectly gives the atmosphere of early outbreak , world falling apart
For some reason until now I thought she had a dead baby not a head.
She was already a Walker but I imagine that episode where Daryl and Beth were they go to that fancy golf place and find a lady who had bunch of jewelry and a sign that said "Rich Bitch" stapled onto her bare chest. Enough to where Beth felt sorry for the way the walker was displayed. There must have been a disturbing story there
I actually have a whole video exploring that topic!
czcams.com/video/AQ8XRkF7S-E/video.htmlsi=JXQj-VhFNLOTYjRw
Anyone knows what happened to the kid that ran off after Michonne got all of them except one?
What if: Lizzie didnt get killed, and she wandered alone in the woods until her hallucinations of the walkers talking to her became real... And she bumped into and joined the Whisperers. I think it's a fun one to explore.
It’s definitely an interesting thought experiment. Lizzie would fit in perfectly with the whisperers without a doubt. The way they refer to them as “guardians” fits right in line with her
At the risk of sounding biased, I think it's a good idea for everyone to develop a "Wilson situation."
💀
