Question: How did Sony make a masterpiece like Across the Spider-Verse, yet also made the massacre to anti-heroes, the Sony-Verse? Were they passionless like Wish or did the writers just not like who the characters were?
I have no idea but when Spider man 3 : Beyond the spider verse comes out , Sony is unlikely to sell the rights of spider man back to Marvel studios because Sony began developing a Spider-Women animated film in November 2018 that would focus on three generations of female, Spider-related characters. Bek Smith was writing the spin-off and Lauren Montgomery was in talks to direct. Pascal said the film would focus on the characters Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen, Cindy Moon / Silk, and Jess Drew / Spider-Woman, and said Across the Spider-Verse would serve as a "launching pad" for it. Lord and Miller were confirmed to be producing the film in April 2021, when the project was undergoing rewrites. Pascal and Arad reaffirmed that the film was in development in May 2023, when Arad said it would be made sooner than expected, while Steinfeld expressed interest in the film , lastly not least , Following the release of Into the Spider-Verse, the studio discussed the possibility of television series featuring the characters. Lord and Miller both expressed interest in seeing a series of shorts starring Spider-Ham,while Sony was announced to be developing animated spin-off TV series focusing on various characters. By April 2019, Lord and Miller signed a five-year deal with Sony Pictures Television to create animated Marvel television series alongside Sony Pictures Animation, including a possible TV series based on Into the Spider-Verse. Discussing these series in August 2019, Miller could not update where or when the series would be released but said there would be several live-action series and that they would each be "their own unique experience" while still being related to each other.

yeah same honestly we should get after BTSV comes out a Miles Morale solo trilogy with him just fighting bad guys in NY like Kingpin, Electro, rhino, green goblin etc. and i mean Sony can continue if they want to
Sony should have used Miles from the start in their Spider-Man villain universe which has been terrible so far, but it would be best if Miles took over for Parker in the MCU (and Sony should stop making superhero/villain films).

Michael rainy jr. Should play miles Morales. He's a good up and coming actor.
