How to tie your karate belt for tournaments.
This type of know prevents your belt from loosening or falling off during competition, which is considered a foul as per rules of the World Karate Federation.
I would recommend getting a belt of longer size when tying with this type of knot.

This is really helpful. In my karate dojang, we didn't do the final step of interlapping the belt ends.
