      @@DipenBashyal-vm4rc It is not that hard if you follow the rules for solving it step by step.
      I did it this way.
      1. You see a Square and Circle top to bottom in the same row as the question mark. That means it can NOT be a Square or Circle.
      2. If you go left to right you see a Triangle and Star crossing the same row as the question mark. This means it can not be one of them at the empty slot below question mark.
      3. This leaves only one option for that empty spot. A Cross. This is the first step for narrowing to the right answer.
      Now we know that a Square, Circle and Cross is wrong. It is time to eliminate fourth symbol.
      4. Now I look at the second row left to right. There you see Star, Square, Circle. We already know that Square and Circle is wrong and you can not place another Star on the same row, it leaves for only one option really. A Triangle needs to be at that empty spot since you have a Triangle at the first row top to bottom.
      5. So only a star can be placed in the question mark. (solution)
      I hope I explained it so it was understandable. And remember there is several ways to do this. This is how I did it.

    • @abilityassessments
      @abilityassessments  Před 3 měsíci +1

      20:52 No need to guess here - by process of elimination, the star was allocated to a different cell within that row and so the only shape remaining and the correct answer was the triangle

    Can someone explain me how to get to the answer of question 13

    • @davidapollo2705
      @davidapollo2705 Před 5 měsíci

      By process of elimination bottom right has to be a cross (+). which means that the cross can now be in column 3 on either row 1 or 4.
      It gets a bit tricky but its very explainable.. I will begin going from left to right i.e Row 1 column 5 is the star
      We see the square is in 3 different positions.. which means that the only place the square can be is row 1 column 3
      So now in column 3 we have (in order) Square, Triangle, Circle, and of course cross which we worked out.
      And then its as easy as can be.. it becomes a star in the ?..
      I have screenshots to explain it easier but its one of the simpler ones

      @davidapollo2705 Před 3 měsíci +2

      @@Matt-yt5pe Please disregard what I said.. this was when I was still a newbie to these things lol..
      Column 5 Row 5 has to be a Cross by process of elimination..
      Now, Column 5 Row 3: When you have 4 different shapes pointing into the same box of an unknown you can easily solve which shape it is.. in this case it would be a star
      Same idea goes for Column 4 Row 3: 4 different shapes pointing making it a cross...
      And then we're left with one shape in Column 4 which is the "?" making it a star.

    Your Q11 answer doesn't really make much sense. Your reasoning for placing the Triangle is very weird. Because there is a star and a cross it must be a triangle? It could also be placed at the bottom. So that doesn't really make sense.

    • @abilityassessments
      @abilityassessments  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Before placing the triangle, there were 3 empty cells in that ‘column’ with 3 missing shapes (triangle, star, cross).
      You’re right that at that point the triangle can fit into any of the 3 empty cells, however the top cell already has a star and cross in the same ‘row’ so by process of elimination that cell can only be a triangle (it can’t be a star or cross so you are left with triangle) - hope this clarifies :)
