  • Under-powered? Ridiculously slow? Only good as a two seat trainer? What did I wish that I know about it before I handed over good money for it? What did I wish that other youtubers / DCS players know about the C-101CC?
    I don't receive any money for my DCS addiction, rather quite the opposite takes place. After owning the C-101 for a while, I try to correct some misinformation about the C-101 from the biased viewpoint of someone who has paid for it.
    In part 1 I explore some of the tips and tricks of the module itself.

    One of the best, fully detailed modules out there for DCS. Averges, the developer did a superb job with it. I personally fly it quite often myself in DCS. A heck of a lot of fun to fly and fight in. Greate video.

    good catch on the fuel thing.. this is the jet trainer with the largest fuel capacity.. even more than the Hawk/Goshawk .. i seen many people complaining about performance of this jet and you see they take the 100% fuel load to do acrobatics and dogfight.. It doesnt have a particulary good thrust to weight ratio but with high fuel loads this bird gets way more penalty than any other

    Thankyou for your videos about the C-101. I love It when I see pepole making videos about that & with that bird ,specially when they also talk well of It & also show its capabilities.

    I saw this module for sale on Steam and was looking for more information on it. This video hit the spot, thanks.

    Thanks, purchased this one when they had a half price sale and got the nav system for it.

      The C-101CC is one of my favorite modules. Simple in a way, but has a lot of details and depth under the façade. I use it to practice my radio navigation skills, practice my unguided bomb skills, and rocket attacks. I often use it online in Cold War servers over modules like the migs, f-5’s, and the Viggen.

      @@franklinhadick2866 gimme a couple of days on that one. I modified the hack I did for the f/a-18c for the c-101cc, I can spawn on carriers and can ski-jump off of the kuznetsov, but I am doing it with my keyboard because I am modding my stick. Video coming soon.

    Enjoyed the vid. Thanks. But I think you referred to the BL755 as a Russian bomb. It is actually British. And the only bombs you can ripple in the C-101 are the practice bombs. Ya, waiting for the Sea Eagle to work properly although there is a script out there somewhere where you can target them in real time using the F10 map markers.

    • @dewfiend
      @dewfiend  Před rokem +1

      I stand corrected… I had thought that the BL755 was a MiG 21 weapon (it is) and therefore was Russian… but Wikipedia agrees with you - DCS is a very strange thing.

      @@dewfiend Just did a quick google search and some random posts mentioned Yugoslavian Mig-21s that carried the BL755 so I'm assuming DCS is right. But take with a grain of salt of course.

      @@kontiuka The serbian air force use it for sure. They drop one bl755 on Barcs in Hungary in the 90s. That one does not work because it dropped from too low.

    Great overview, my dude. I do not give C-101 enough of my attention - I am more of a L39 / MB 339 dude myself - but this was interesting to have a gander at.

      @dewfiend  Před rokem +2

      I don’t use it for aerobatic work. I use it as a light strike aircraft and pit it against some serious threats. I fly it against MiG 21’s and Hinds on Enigma’s cold war server. I do a lot of ground attack, and I use the radio navagation capabilities
