The Lindsay-Lucille interactions were always some of my favorite moments on the show :)

She's right, her scenes with Lucille are amazing. Lucille's scenes with everyone are amazing. Arrested Development scenes are amazing.
I liked her scenes with Bateman the best. They seemed like actual siblings a lot of the time and played off one another very naturally

It's kind of hard to go back and hear Lucille say all that stuff considering the struggles Portia had between Season 3 and 4. I'm glad that Portia can laugh at those jokes.

Ross.White98 She still struggled with binging and bulimia I think. Plus EDs never, ever go away. You can manage them, but comments about your body can be extremely triggering.
@@mustyfan1584 true. I had anorexia at 15 and am 32 now. I have long since recovered but psychologically you can very easily slip back into old habits when times get tough

WOAH! So Portia said the Lindsay and Lucille dynamic is similar to that of her own mothers. I wonder how her mom took her being gay and anorexic? Like, maybe Portias early childhood modeling career swayed her to be aneroxic and maybe her mom was either unaware and made caty comments or just plain mean to her. We did see footage of Portia De Rossi's Mother in the Ellen Wedding videos, but she didn't say anything on tape... Snap, I gotta buy Portia de Rossi's book! there's so much more that i'm curious about!
I read her book. She goes into it a bit! It's very well written but my god, it's depressing. Her mother reads as very loving but painfully unaware of what her actions do to Portia. She allowed her then 12 year old daughter to literally starve for modelling jobs and told her not to tell anyone even family members that she was gay...

First of all, so-called "Portia De Rossi" was not her real name. I think it's a disgrace and shows complete disrespect of one's heritage to change their birth name, unless when a woman gets married. If a woman gets married and DOESN'T change her last name, that shows no respect to her husband. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the name "Amanda Lee Rogers"?! The change was probably made as a result of pressure from a greedy Business Manager and or Studio, with respect to perceived anticipation of greater recognition and subsequent monetary gain?!
