KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul takes a look at Hurricane Nicholas and what effect it will have on the Houston area. MORE: www.khou.com/article/weather/...
@@Soulwritermarie well, maybe not lies, these guys just don't have a clue with this one. It just proves that sometimes all the expertise and available mordern tech just can't predict the future.
Yes! Trouble is, it seems that every time I water the lawn, without a sprinkler system, it rains the very next day. Even if it's not in the forecast. God smiled on me this time & I had only watered one section then got an alert about Nicholas, before I moved the sprinkler all day long. I just rolled up the hose & let Him water for me. Just enough but not too much here. God is good!
I am happy to have Nicholas visit. Needed a break from this heat! I have the window cracked to let the breeze in and hear the rain. I'm sleeping real good tonight.
Bruh I'm outside of Houston and it's going to hit where I live when it pass Houston while I'm sleeping. I'm staying up for the night just in case if I have to go to a other room if it gets worse.
Praying for your safety. 🙏🏼 We are in Spring so it won’t be as bad but we do usually flood in some subdivisions close to us. Our home has stayed dry the last 20 years.
You may be asleep right now but I hope you fared well. Where I am in Spring just had a few branches down but nothing big in our area. My lawn was spotless yesterday but now I have a lot of the neighbor's dead palm fronds & branches to clean up. I hope you didn't get too much damage. Take care.

Day and night may indeed make a difference with wind, rain, and hurricane. The influence of the sun is very strong on nature. Consider hanging out laundry, day vs. night. Also the moon is important especially towards tides. We are now having a waxing half moon.
Correct sir, the inflow of a hurricane is the cold upper air sinking and due to Radiational cooling where heat goes into the dark of outer space, Hurricanes over Hot water with the cold air above do intensify and do gain more moisture.

Global cataclysms are only increasing. This issue, as well as ways to solve it, were discussed in detail at the international online conference " Global Crisis. This already affects everyone", organized by volunteers from 180 countries. We, people, must unite to cope with what is coming. We all must remember that we are one Humanity. We can unite our potential for life, for our children. There is no country that will be able to overcome these increasing disasters by itself. We must unite to survive and build a new society of kindness and justice, where each of us will be a happy human being, but not a refugee - the Creative Society.
Yesterday: Tropical Storm Nicholas is slowing down its very disorganized. Both the American and European model show surges after Tuesday. Mother Nature: Hold my purse
Louisiana’s 17 oil refineries account for nearly one-fifth of the nation’s oil refining capacity. Maybe this is God's way of telling us to stop destroying the environment with black gold...
