Stunning plants! I’m going off on a bit of a rant though. People like collecting rare plants, I get that, what I don’t understand is when you have to lock them away in a grow tent in order for them to survive, where’s the beauty in that? I like to be able to look at them any time I want by just looking up and glancing around my home. I love how you have show cased Rowena and Ghost, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to view all of our plants just as easily. Sorry but I don’t get plants that have to be hidden away. Thank you for showing us Rowena and Ghost they are truly beautiful 💚🙃

I keep most of my toxic and expensive plants in my plant room. I do this because I have 6 cats. But I probably would even without them because I prefer my living areas more minimal. 💚 If you watch my plant room makeover you will see how packed my living area looked when I had them all out 🤣 I definitely didn’t like it. I think of my plant room as a showcase 😍❤️

I always prefer mottled, speckled, variegation because of the browning issues. It’s such a shame that the big beautiful sectorial variegation tends to eventually brown. This was such a fun video to watch, you have a beautiful collection! Never feel ashamed about your hobby. It brings you joy. We wouldn’t shame people for boating or flying or skydiving as a hobby...those are also expensive endeavors. So why do rare plant hobbyists get so much crap!?
My boyfriend and I just discovered your channel and think you're great!! We are starting to grow a houseplant collection; your video on potting a philodendron was super helpful. We have two cats who sometimes nibble on plants, so we've been a bit stressed out about having houseplants that are poisonous to them. What tips do you have on how to keep nosy cats away from plants?

I’d love a care guide please! I bought a little rooted leaf a month or so ago but it has succumbed to root rot in the sphagnum Moss so I’ve cut all the roots off and am starting from scratch but it’s looking worse by the day with the leaf now gone - any tips on how to re root it would be great! It’s now in perlite, kept at 60% humidity and under a grow light 🤞🏼

I’m not sure what is the weight capacity of the heat mat. I heard that if you put a heavy stuff on it it will damage the heat mat.
Can’t find anything on the weight limit but that is a valid concern! I’ve seen heat mats used on the regular with terrariums but a safer option might be one made for the glass where you can stick it on the side. I’ll have to look into that 😊

One is in Lechuza pon and the other in a soil/perlite mix. I will be switching the other to pon as well once she has finished acclimation 😊
