It's moreso accurate to Spider-Man from all the MCU movies between Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: No Way Home. His suite, theme song, and personality come from those movies during his "Iron Boy Jr." phase as character. Personally I would have preferred a generic Earth-616 classic comic book Spider-Man, but I'm more focused on how impressive the animatronics and actors are and what a great job Disney's team did with this. Plus, him being MCU Spidey makes his fails more believable since he's supposed to be young and somewhat incompetent.

Spiders actually do this! They jump and bring themselves back to the wall with the string. The do that!
They also jump and change their trajectory with the string. They do actually shoot the string like that. They just don't travel with it like Spiderman. Their jump takes them further than the swing anyway.

This is Gold for them is they use it just right!! People love seeing stuff get broken, they love to laugh when the person is ok (laugh even more when they're not) and then he don't give up and lands the next jump... They could have multiple story plots for it too... Lots they could do with this!

It looks like the cord/web got caught between the legs while flipping effectively reducing the cord length preventing the clearance of the building.

@@user-is6yl9wi7e That is correct, it's an entertainment show. Disneyland never said it was an actual person doing the stunts. This would be too dangerous for a stunt person to do on a repeated basis. The first thing that comes to mind is the cord could easily get wrapped around the neck of a person and kill them instantly when the cord runs out of slack at the end and snaps back.
There is more to it than that, the robot did not bend its legs or anything, it was basically straight stiff and dead as if the power failed. It looked like a mannequin rather than something with motorized movement.
Not sure if the rope did what it is supposed to.

Luckily the animatronic’s 3D printed shell was designed to break with a possible mess up in mind and it absorbed most energy from the impact protecting the important parts. In simple terms, plastic breakable armor proctected animatronic from severe damage.
Somewhere there's a Karen in the crowd, who seeing this it emotionally damaged her and gave her "PTSD".
