In this video, I go over my top 5 sample based beat production workflow on the mp live 2 / mpc one / mpc x. Ive made mpc one tutorial video but on this video. I want to share on why i do certain things for beat making on the mpc live 2. we will talk about drum selection for mpc and also color-coding your mpc pads for sample organization as we are chopping samples on the mpc one and mpc live 2. I will also cover some of the program settings on the mpc live 2 LFO so how i adjust the lfo settings in the mpc program editor.

Bro, the colour coding tip for the samples is a game changer for me, don't know why I didn't think of it. As someone who often fills up at least 4 banks I've been finding it so frustrating linking samples together from different banks. Thanks bro 🙏🏻

Hey man, quick question. I’m about to get the retro live 2 but I’ve heard people have had problems with the labels rubbing off of the rubber buttons. Have you had this problem?

When I try to use track mute it doesn’t show the drums individually. Why is that?
It just says track 01 n it’s the whole beat in one pad
