@@TFin762.39 don't even worry about it. It took me over a whole year don't be discouraged I promise you things do always get better I know that at the moment your situation seems impossible. Even after making the comment I had episodes but it comes to a certain point where your mind just gets tired of thinking about it and eventually it doesn't think about it anymore. I'm at the point where it doesn't come up in my head and if it does its ok for me I don't mind thinkin or talking about it. I realized that instead of stressing about what others had its better thinking about what I have. Think about it if you guys broke up and your partner went with someone else would you feel closure knowing the things you did with them or would you feel lost because they are now doing that with someone else? Well you're that someone else I hope that was clear but you're not alone and you will overcome it

This is really Awesome, I had no idea there was such a thing called “Retroactive Jealousy”. Never heard of it. I recently started a new relationship and started feeling obsessed with his longtime past relationship due to the nature and reasoning that started the relationship, I had tons of questions regardless of all the information he gave me. I knew then, something was wrong with me. Now I know and this video was awesome and has confirmed some common since steps I’ve made in dealing with my insecurities in this particular relationship. Where does RJ stem from? Here's my take... My mother and father were very much in love however he did leave my mom in order to make a go of his life and he ended up getting with his work partner. Therefore to me, infidelity ending up representing a huge loss to me as a little girl at the time. I didn't see my father much after the split except on holidays and certain summers. I've always had a bout with low confidence and low self esteem as a child and teenager. Yes, I've had a tad of RJ in most of my relationships, but it didn't flare up to the point of WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME until my last relationship. Honestly, I think that social media, TV and movies really "glamorize" loose sex, objectification and even make up sitcoms about married couples who accidentally run into a sexy ex who comes onto them! And certain song lyrics that go into still craving someone from before!!! We're sort of infiltrated! Just a few things that I'm putting out here that can cause RJ.
It’s worth looking at testosterone as a factor. I take reandron every eight weeks. I found that reandron makes the jealousy and anxiety so much worse. When my hormone levels were low, I really didn’t give a fuck about her past, but I really didn’t have sexual urges either. There is a connection here.
i mostly agree its all about insecurity and a little bit of retroactive jealousy OCD...i have insecurities major insecurities and sometimes inferiority complex... sometimes thoughts about her past bothers me ...but mostly what bothers me is in the end if it comes to the "deal breaker" point after giving her my all what to do... @Zachary Stockill your point on this will be highly appreciated... i know the answer is trust but what to do with this insecurities?
Sounds like a nice combination! :) It would be interesting to see if there is a common factor with our zodiac signs and our tendency to become jealous or feel threatened. I am Leo and a Sheep. Leos are known to be very loyal and also very jealous signs. I feel like it is in my blood or DNA to see sex as a sacred act. I don't think it's that way for everyone. I think our culture and upbringing at home plays a big role too.
