Join me in my fight against the machines in Generation Zero!
Today we'll be answering what is the best weapon in generation zero, I've done some quick math to figure out exactly which is the best then put them all to the test. every weapon is gold/5 crown for simplicity, and so you can figure out what you'll choose at its highest level!

I know im alittle late to the party but the #1 thing I learned from watching your vids is to shoot off the hunters gun. An absolutle game changer. I was always trying to dodge around to hit weak spots, now just blast that gun off and it seems the next few, well placed shots kills em. Keep up the good work man!
I'm glad i found this channel. I figured someone was big into this game. I'd love to see a video on your thoughts and ideas on possible dlc story, weapons, and enemy types for the game. The studio has added so much to Hunter call of the wild that i do hope Generation zero gets some added content as well
I got into a bad firefight with like 5 or 4 hunters so i hid inside a building and saw this i took advice and i was looting the guys in no time

Me: Hunkering down in a 2-floor house works... most of the time.
Also, I don't hide in sheds/barns anymore. Sometimes the game gets janky and teleports a Runner or Hunter outside... INTO the barn.
For me they sometimes get taleported into the house
Hey Tenebris! Hope the bot hunting is good! The wife and I had a new experience tonight.. we had a Fenix tank chase us down when we aggro'ed the tank, about 6 hunters, and six runners! It chased us from mockfjardsson over past the windmills at Alvarette! Have you had that happen yet? Lol it was a blast, and actually added some new excitement to the game. Watch out for this new feature! Good hunting!
The tank charge is a blast, it adds so much to the momentum of fighting tanks :D Glad you and the wife have had fun with the new mechanics my dude! Hope the plundra is serving you both well :D

Heck yea it did! My final tip takes full advantage of some of those changes :D Glad i'm able to keep putting out these keen tips for ya'll that will hopefully help you, let me know how the hunter counters go if you try them out :D
I've definitely found healing with a combination of different health packs is the way to go. If I'm very low on health (10 and under) and in combat I'll use my advanced packs (rarely), but only then. If I'm over 40 health I'll use a standard then simple pack, and if I'm over 80 I don't heal at all, I wait until the next hit to take full advantage of every health point from a simple pack, zero waste. Healing those last couple points is less important to me than maximizing my health pack usage, it will stretch things out a surprising amount. I'm rarely at 100 health points but hardly ever under 80 if I have the packs. This game is so great, I really love all the little things you can do which add up to massive success.
Posted a bit of artwork on steam a week or so ago. Of 20 or so hunters, 3 rival harvs and a rival tank all clumped together, a combo of FNIX and apocs, with anything in the area joining in too, this was a little NE of the airfield in the farmland region. Took them all out on a solo map set to skirmish, with some fireworks, along with 20kg exp kvm59, pvg90 ammo plus a few med packs. Cracking battle but got rubbish loot...... not even any .50 cal ammo. Area now at lvl 25 and 21,981 which the maximum a level can get to (for reaper spawning). There is no max amount of rivals, that's a myth, in case you are wondering.

I through a frag in a military base the other day it hit a emp box and over hafe the base blow up the emp hit a car and a chain reaction started taking me with it
Thank you so much for this video! This game is tough and it doesn't really tell you anything about how to play it. After a billion deaths in the beginning area I was ready to give up. This video changed the game for me. The tip about corner peaking and blowing up the electrical boxes, which I had no clue you could do, was a game changer. I am now addicted and making actual progress. My first impression was that it was like an unfinished game, but now with a little knowledge and some badly needed skill ups I am enjoying the heck out of it.
Ah dude it's absolutely my pleasure!! I know how you feel, my early days in the game were rough as heck, I must have died a good dozen times before I started getting any sort of groove but i think that's part of what inspired me to make these in depth tips and tricks here, the brutal challenge :D those emp boxes are a life saver in any sort of urban combat situation! Keep your eyes out for them in any city you visit dude, they're so useful! Cheers and thank you so much for watching and playing this excellent game and giving it the chance it deserves my dude! You can also stack the simple first aid kits to heal 50, 75 or 100 points at once, no need to switch the type.
The explosions have been upgraded in some update, and for some reason shooting the electric box now blows up any car withing about ten meters. Too bad they didn't seem to upgrade the RPG or turn on friendly fire for the robots, I have unloaded a half dozen rockets into a simple Harvester and it barely noticed, while it's rocket attacks had so huge blast radius it was almost useless to try dodging. The Hunters swarming me weren't even fazed by that despite being closer to the explosions.
Overall the supposedly powerful weapons like landmines, RPG and the .50cal are unrealistically underpowered while simply sneaking close to a Tank and dropping few pressured gas canisters will cause it unrealistically high damage, and stafing it with a high quality handgun will finish it off quickly. I guess that's there to explain how in this action movie universe the military kept losing battles while our plucky heroes can take down the whole Swedish robot army by themselves.

Believe it or not, they can glitch their way in. I was in a lighthouse with 3 Hunters, and a few runners bundled up on the ground floor.
Thanks for all the content on this game dude! I just picked it up but think it's awesome! Too bad about the mixed score and low player count, but for half the price of a "AAA" game I've had way more fun then say, any new AC game. Cheers!

Great video Tenebris! How do you keep the tanks from doing the shockwave? Because that is what I have the most trouble with since it has a pretty long range aswell.
Sadly, the only way of properly defending the shockwave attacks is to have cover in front of you. so that corner peeking tip is very useful for that, find a rock, corner peek out of it and as long as you pay mind to the mortar that tanks usually have you'll be able to avoid most shockwave damage.
I've wanted for the longest time for us to be able to disable that attack though, it's really irritating as the only AOE attack.

It's the algstudsare! Very great rifle with high damage but a really low clip size. Farm harvesters for that one in specific. good luck hunting! :D

Do the FNIX tanks not shooting you if you are too close to them?
are you playing on Extreme Easy mode ? One bullet hit from hunter cost me more than 50 hp.
The peeking around corners trick doesn't seem to work for me, followed the tip but all it does is brings the rifle back towards the left side and won't peek around the corner. On PC by the way.
I've heard a few pc players have a hard time with mouse and keyboard for the peeking tip, I'm unsure myself as i don't own a pc thats good enough to run GZ optimally, but if it doesn't work you can try a more robust method of aiming down sights before popping the corner. Kinda bummed to hear it doesn't work across all versions though..

How do you not take damage from ticks?
You'll find out in a week my dude ;D I don't wanna give it all away in the comments, but trust me all i gotta say is if you optimize your skills in this game it can have some funny outcomes
Be careful, explosions seem to be killing me very easily.
They pretty dangerous since the latest patch that's for sure!
Can you make a video on how to get tick bots from enemy, and from what type of enemy, and if there is a special way to kill them to get this ticks bot.
I am not sure in how to get them.
If I maybe doing something wrong or so.....
For example, can I use explosives on enemy and still have chance on get ticks bot when looting them.....
As new player to the game I found your videos useful and I learn stuff from what I have seen so far.
The 3 med kits I know of heal at 25, 50, and 75 points, Your sitting at 58 points. health and suggest using 75 to 125 points of healing using 2 different types of health packs?
You only need 42 points how is this efficient?
