It was because of Obito's Chakra thats also why he got the Sharingan back even tho obito died with it. So basically he used Obito's Chakra to activate the ms and the Susanoo and he lost the sharingan because obito's Chakra ran out
but only thing was that wasn’t his susanoo it was Obito’s he gave him his right eye so he could fight in the last battle as the fight was over since Obito was no longer alive his sharingan disappeared it would’ve have stayed if was an uchiha but he isn’t

If I remember correctly, the statement was “ he’s significantly stronger than when he fought Obito and Madara”. They didn’t mention Kaguya so this is how I interpret it. Dms Kakashi > Boruto era Kakashi > War arc 1 MS Kakashi.

Kakashis big talent is the level of mastery he is able to obtain in basically whatever skill he decides to pick up. He knows countless jutsu, his analysation skills of other's tactics and jutsus is unparalleled, and if he tried to pick up any jutsu, hed not just learn it, but *master* in a fraction of the time it would take others to even begin to understand it. If anything, his childhood really proved that. His childhood/youth stats are literally unbeaten. The speed at which he developed his abilities and even created his very own jutsu is insane. And just when he was starting to come into his own, he had his power scale completely thrown out of whack by suddenly getting a draining sharingan he wasnt used to, but he mastered even THAT, with NO teacher or ANY information on sharingan. I mean, even among the Uchiha the sharingan wasnt really a talked about topic, it was kind of a secret yknow. Kakashi knew NOTHING about this power, and he BY HIMSELF managed to obtain an incredibly powerful MS. In my opinion, in this entire universe, that is an UNPARALLELED level of genius.

User of all 5 chakra elements, can do ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu at a master level, invented his own jutsu, mastered the Sharingan and was able to create his own susanoo. Kakashi is a generational talent.
well i mean realistically what was the sharingan doing for him? he had already used it to copy a shit ton of jutsu, obviously it gave him higher like perception skills and kamui, but he was already going blind with it by the time he lost it. for an uchiha maybe still worth keeping but it was a massive drain on his chakra and stamina

Every other hokage will lose cuz of the 3 signature fire thunder and earth technique he created/recreated(earth). Tobirama and Minato probably could've when just after the war since no sharingan but since he would be named the hokage and he finally has things to protect again he stopped slacking and started pushing like when he was 7 years old. I don't know why people dont understand this,but uchiha chakra pool is pretty much similar to the uzumaki and senju,the only reason they dont have healing is because they have the sharrigan And sasuke specifically has more chakra than basically any uzumaki and senju, except for Naruto Just because he can't travel through time and space every second doesn't mean his chakra pool is low☠️

I've come to adore and love Kakashi and Tobirama's Character. Both guys were self made. No rinnengan and tailed beast. Just a well reputable bloodline and Intelligence. Trying their best to outwit the opponents and improving the skills and things that they have rather than outsourcing power. Just straight forward characters no side business whatsoever.
Not forgetting that as a child, with NO sharingan , he was already a Jonin and had mastery over lightning and earth release at least(maybe another but idr).😌Allllso natural talent and training as being the son of the White Fang who was (equal to or)superior to not one, but ALL 3 Sannin in their youth.
I really never saw Kakashi as strong, but skilled, experienced, and talented. It always felt like he was always punching above what someone like him should be capable of, but through his skills, experience, and talent, he just pulled through anyway. The guy gets the shit beat out of him for 5 minutes, then makes 1 comeback and wins the fight. Whenever he's fighting those stronger than him, he's always looking for that 1 moment of weakness.

Kakashi's fight vs Kakuzu, who was essentially as close to immortal as you can be, is very underrated. He was fighting off super jutsu from Kakuzu with the Hidan assist. He couldn't even take a single scratch from Hidan or he was dead. All while saving Ino & Choji from certain death.
Kakashi losing the Sharingan just made him even stronger, yeah he doesn't have Kamui anymore but that means he wouldn't easily run out of chakra and since he already copied over a thousand jutsu during his time having the Sharingan he's still a deadly ninja plus even before Obito died and he had the Sharingan Kakashi was already a complete genius and talented at a very young age.

Well, the downplay comes from being called the man of 1000 jutsus, meanwhile using 5 jutsus at most. Also, not being able to use the kamui as well as Obito was quite disappointing despite having the eye for the same amount of time (and yeah I know he isn't an Uchiha but still). Overall, in my eyes Kakashi really is an overrated character. He was considered intelligent and a young Anbu Ops captain yet didn't show the potential Itachi, Shisui or even Shikamaru had in terms of intelligence. In most of Kakashi's fights he was drained and was not able to do basically anything. I hope this explains a bit why he is deservedly downplayed (at least in my opinion). Of course everyone is entitled to their own.

Obito also had Hashirama cells meaning he could spam it non-stop without worrying about going blind. Kakashi was always drained because he literally had the sharingan constantly draining chakra. He used plenty of Justus throughout the series obviously in close fights against tough opponents he's gonna use his best techniques instead of pulling out some random attacks he doesn't practice much. In terms of being a genius kakashi was always finding out things about his opponents during fights and figuring ways to counter them.

And if you remember, in the novel he ovewhelmed a 6 Paths enhanced water attack with his Fire release attack, so that alone should tell how powerful he got. I'm really hoping we *see* him use his Fire Style Water Mist and Earth Style Quartz Wall in the anime. I still stand by Boruto using the Water Mist During the Chunin exams. Boruto had a plethora of jutsu Katasuke implanted in Boruto's scientific ninja tech. When Momoshiki popped up Boruto began endlessly shooting them at Momoshiki. Momoshiki absorbed them and shot them back at Boruto. One of those jutsu fits the description of Kakashi's jutsu. And considering Boruto had already used Purple Lightning, it wouldn't be surprising if he also Had Kakashi's Fire Style Water Mist in his arsenal of jutsu.

More important, they wanted to focus on the new gen of kages. Kishimoto stated that Kakashi has a big role to play in the manga. I have my own theory on that. Still waiting, though.
Kakashi's ace in the hole was always like carrying a massive weight. It gave him the advantage in most situations but at a heavy cost to his own energy and recovery times. All this means now is he has to think for himself and depend on his own abilities without the option of an easy win at the cost of hospitalization. Instead of having an eye that can literally see enemie movements he now has to predict their next move.

Y'know, I never even thought about that. The Sharingan takes massive amounts of chakra to use, even natural born Uchiha sometimes struggle to keep it activated. Kakashi has massive amounts of chakra because he had to focus so much of it on just using his Sharingan. Now that he doesn't have it, all that chakra is readily available to him.
Base sharingan *didn't* really take too much chakra to use when used by an uchiha. Only sarada has that chakra problem for some reason Shit don't you remember itachi and obito always had sharingan active like damn? Only the ms took chakra from them and also blindness, but ems removed those costs again. They're pretty much normal eyes for the uchihas.

As much as I like this video, reading some of these comments makes it clear to me that evidence is complety irrelevant. A lot of people are convinced that Sharingan is the answer to everything. Even if the other members of team 7 outright said "Kakashi is more impressive now than he was when we were kids" people would still say he's the weakest Hokage. Orochimaru could reanimate all the previous Hokages, have Hiruzen and Minato acknowledge him as a rival and the people will still say " Kakashi's the weakest because no Sharingan and meteor scene from the last".

it's even more than people think, it's not only about stamina in battle, it's also stamina in training, more stamina = more training, kakashi also admitted that he was too reliant on his sharingan in the kakashi hiden novel and in part 1 it's stated many times that kakashi had gotten rusty, an exercise that used to be easy now require him to use the first gate, not to mention he stop inventing any new jutsu after he unlock the sharingan, but when he was forced to create his own jutsu he was able to do so in under a year, he created a superior lightning, then later on he was able to invent quartz release. If he never have the sharingan in the first place he'll be FAR stronger than anyone could imagine
My favorite character hands down. He was not only a genius but my favorite fight move in naruto is when he caught kazuka mid air and pulled off a spinning power bomb (even though it was a water clone) that move was one of the sickest set ups I seen hand to hand in any anime not just naruto. For the ones thinking it's Obito's susanoo, think of it this way: it's like if the Uchihas were the only one able to produce the only musical instrument capable of producing a specific music. Without the instrument, no music. And the quality of the instrument help with the quality of the music. But then, the instrument needs to be used by a musician. And this musician needs to be good at using it if they wants to produce a beautiful symphony with it. Obito's sharingan and part of his chakra enhanced by So6P chakra is this high quality instrument that he gift to Kakashi, but the susanoo Kakashi produced from it was his (Kakashi's) symphony, which only he could have played the way he played it. Once Obito died and took back the instrument he gifted Kakashi, the later couldn't play anymore. Not because he wasn't still a great musician, but because he had lost his musical instrument.

The Sharingan was constantly activated, which would drain Kakashi’s chakra reserves, hence why he kept it covered all the time. Without it, he’s able to better conserve his chakra and use more jutsu.
People forget that Kakashi, even temporarily, had 6 paths power... meaning he had a much stronger connection and understanding of chakra.... And using that experience, he was able to level up to create purple lightning and reach a whole new level..... It's not that the lack of Sharingan helped him, but that the 6 paths power he got after losing it more than made up for the loss.... even if it was temporary, it gave him boosted knowledge...
It’s tough being the goat he has had to consistently accept the toughest missions because he has always been the best ninja in every scenario. He’s basically Batman.

If i recall correctly. Kakashi himself states that the Sharingan eye is a CONSTANT drain on his stamina and chakra reserves. He was never at 100% in any of his fights. This may even be what made him deadlier, as he used his genius to work around the constant strain to his body.
Truth is kakashi got nerfed the moment he got the sharingan cuz of chakra drain. He cannot freely use it cuz he's not Uchiha. So the sharingan is always active. Meaning he cannot use jutsus that consume massive amounts of chakra. Since he lost the sharingan he has access to a much larger pool of chakra, thereby increasing his strength

Hokage Kakashi also countered a water jutsu powered by the chakra of the Sage of Six Paths using his fire jutsu, an elemental affinity that is supposed to be weaker. That feat alone makes an argument if Kakashi is stronger than Hashirama, but even I’ll say that it’s not absolute so it just remains as an argument. Hokage Kakashi is also phyisically stronger and faster than his War Arc. Kakashi defeated 50 Jonin Level Ninjas by himself without using any Jutsus at all (Tobirama losing to 20 Jonins 🤮). It was previously stated that Orochimaru is strong enough to defeat an entire Village, in Boruto it is stated that Kakashi is capable enough of defeating an entire nation alone. it goes to show how well fleshed out this series was. bc I really never took into account how many big time fights Kakashi was in. since the jump he's been fighting the biggest threats to the leaf. he was even ready to fade Sasuke in shippuden. imagine how many well thought out characters have to be in your story for a character like Kakashi to be glanced over.

Kakashis big talent is the level of mastery he is able to obtain in basically whatever skill he decides to pick up. He knows countless jutsu, his analysation skills of other's tactics and jutsus is unparalleled, and if he tried to pick up any jutsu, hed not just learn it, but *master* in a fraction of the time it would take others to even begin to understand it.
If anything, his childhood really proved that. His childhood/youth stats are literally unbeaten. The speed at which he developed his abilities and even created his very own jutsu is insane.
And just when he was starting to come into his own, he had his power scale completely thrown out of whack by suddenly getting a draining sharingan he wasnt used to, but he mastered even THAT, with NO teacher or ANY information on sharingan. I mean, even among the Uchiha the sharingan wasnt really a talked about topic, it was kind of a secret yknow. Kakashi knew NOTHING about this power, and he BY HIMSELF managed to obtain an incredibly powerful MS. In my opinion, in this entire universe, that is an UNPARALLELED level of genius.

well i mean realistically what was the sharingan doing for him? he had already used it to copy a shit ton of jutsu, obviously it gave him higher like perception skills and kamui, but he was already going blind with it by the time he lost it. for an uchiha maybe still worth keeping but it was a massive drain on his chakra and stamina

Every other hokage will lose cuz of the 3 signature fire thunder and earth technique he created/recreated(earth). Tobirama and Minato probably could've when just after the war since no sharingan but since he would be named the hokage and he finally has things to protect again he stopped slacking and started pushing like when he was 7 years old. Who knows if he trained all his life like that instead of makeout tactics he would've gotten even more stronger. I've come to adore and love Kakashi and Tobirama's Character.
Both guys were self made. No rinnengan and tailed beast. Just a well reputable bloodline and Intelligence. Trying their best to outwit the opponents and improving the skills and things that they have rather than outsourcing power. Just straight forward characters no side business whatsoever.
By that logic hashirama hiruzen and minato should be on your list. Specially minato since he did not have a strong lineage/bloodline.

I really never saw Kakashi as strong, but skilled, experienced, and talented. It always felt like he was always punching above what someone like him should be capable of, but through his skills, experience, and talent, he just pulled through anyway.
The guy gets the shit beat out of him for 5 minutes, then makes 1 comeback and wins the fight. Whenever he's fighting those stronger than him, he's always looking for that 1 moment of weakness.

Kakashi's fight vs Kakuzu, who was essentially as close to immortal as you can be, is very underrated.
He was fighting off super jutsu from Kakuzu with the Hidan assist.
He couldn't even take a single scratch from Hidan or he was dead.
All while saving Ino & Choji from certain death.
Kakashi losing the Sharingan just made him even stronger, yeah he doesn't have Kamui anymore but that means he wouldn't easily run out of chakra and since he already copied over a thousand jutsu during his time having the Sharingan he's still a deadly ninja plus even before Obito died and he had the Sharingan Kakashi was already a complete genius and talented at a very young age.

Well, the downplay comes from being called the man of 1000 jutsus, meanwhile using 5 jutsus at most. Also, not being able to use the kamui as well as Obito was quite disappointing despite having the eye for the same amount of time (and yeah I know he isn't an Uchiha but still). Overall, in my eyes Kakashi really is an overrated character. He was considered intelligent and a young Anbu Ops captain yet didn't show the potential Itachi, Shisui or even Shikamaru had in terms of intelligence. In most of Kakashi's fights he was drained and was not able to do basically anything. I hope this explains a bit why he is deservedly downplayed (at least in my opinion). Of course everyone is entitled to their own.

Obito also had Hashirama cells meaning he could spam it non-stop without worrying about going blind. Kakashi was always drained because he literally had the sharingan constantly draining chakra. He used plenty of Justus throughout the series obviously in close fights against tough opponents he's gonna use his best techniques instead of pulling out some random attacks he doesn't practice much. In terms of being a genius kakashi was always finding out things about his opponents during fights and figuring ways to counter them.

When he was younger, he already was very skilled, and it is only after he got a Sharingan, he stopped developing his own stuff, but considering what his father Sakumo was hyped up to be, and how much stronger Guy himself got compared to his father, you could say, after getting rid of mental blocks and tasting a temporary 6 paths chakra boost, it inspired him to get better in overall stats. So if you compare info, feats, scaling and lore, the 35 to 45 years old Hokage Kakashi by himself in stats is the 3rd strongest Hokage after Naruto and SM Hashirama if not near equal to SM Hashirama, because SM Hashirama was stated to be a possible rival to 10 Tails Obito. And if you remember, in the novel he ovewhelmed a 6 Paths enhanced water attack with his Fire release attack, so that alone should tell how powerful he got. So i am confused, when people still rank Kakashi as the weakest or second weakest Hokage, when basically he is the 3rd strongest, which i believe.

I'm really hoping we *see* him use his Fire Style Water Mist and Earth Style Quartz Wall in the anime. I still stand by Boruto using the Water Mist During the Chunin exams. Boruto had a plethora of jutsu Katasuke implanted in Boruto's scientific ninja tech. When Momoshiki popped up Boruto began endlessly shooting them at Momoshiki. Momoshiki absorbed them and shot them back at Boruto. One of those jutsu fits the description of Kakashi's jutsu. And considering Boruto had already used Purple Lightning, it wouldn't be surprising if he also Had Kakashi's Fire Style Water Mist in his arsenal of jutsu.
I am wondering why they didn't add him in the manga nor bothered to make him do anything during that invasion, knowing Kakashi I knew he would fight and defend the Chunin exam for Konoha sake
@@DefinitelyNotHidanThe manga makes it clear thst Sasuke can only travel with 5 other people at once. Kakashi is a Ninjutsu specialist which means everything would get obsorbed. More important, they wanted to focus on the new gen of kages.
Kishimoto stated that Kakashi has a big role to play in the manga. I have my own theory on that. Still waiting, though.

Kakashi's ace in the hole was always like carrying a massive weight. It gave him the advantage in most situations but at a heavy cost to his own energy and recovery times. All this means now is he has to think for himself and depend on his own abilities without the option of an easy win at the cost of hospitalization. Instead of having an eye that can literally see enemie movements he now has to predict their next move.
He also Is one of the best minds in the story, he always improvise a plan and has great perception in battle
He seems to be the most adaptable hokage, the others would be crippled by losing such a core part of their fighting style.
Nah the 3rd was an all around ninja too and the 2nd too all the other kages u take away there signature moves they would hav to choose a whole new fighting style

Y'know, I never even thought about that. The Sharingan takes massive amounts of chakra to use, even natural born Uchiha sometimes struggle to keep it activated. Kakashi has massive amounts of chakra because he had to focus so much of it on just using his Sharingan. Now that he doesn't have it, all that chakra is readily available to him.
Base sharingan *didn't* really take too much chakra to use when used by an uchiha. Only sarada has that chakra problem for some reason

As much as I like this video, reading some of these comments makes it clear to me that evidence is complety irrelevant. A lot of people are convinced that Sharingan is the answer to everything. Even if the other members of team 7 outright said "Kakashi is more impressive now than he was when we were kids" people would still say he's the weakest Hokage. Orochimaru could reanimate all the previous Hokages, have Hiruzen and Minato acknowledge him as a rival and the people will still say " Kakashi's the weakest because no Sharingan and meteor scene from the last".
Current kakashi isn't even stronger than Orochimaru Kabuto and koji so yeah he's still weak

it's even more than people think, it's not only about stamina in battle, it's also stamina in training, more stamina = more training, kakashi also admitted that he was too reliant on his sharingan in the kakashi hiden novel and in part 1 it's stated many times that kakashi had gotten rusty, an exercise that used to be easy now require him to use the first gate, not to mention he stop inventing any new jutsu after he unlock the sharingan, but when he was forced to create his own jutsu he was able to do so in under a year, he created a superior lightning, then later on he was able to invent quartz release. If he never have the sharingan in the first place he'll be FAR stronger than anyone could imagine

Pretty sure Lee had to go up to 5-6 iirc gate to even shatter half of the meteor along side his team. I don’t see how anyone in the village aside from Naruto either with a bijuu bomb or sage enhanced rasengan could’ve done that meteor in.
The thing is we hardly ever see him use any of the thousand jutsu he lerant, before and after he lost the Sharingan.

For the ones thinking it's Obito's susanoo, think of it this way: it's like if the Uchihas were the only one able to produce the only musical instrument capable of producing a specific music. Without the instrument, no music. And the quality of the instrument help with the quality of the music. But then, the instrument needs to be used by a musician. And this musician needs to be good at using it if they wants to produce a beautiful symphony with it. Obito's sharingan and part of his chakra enhanced by So6P chakra is this high quality instrument that he gift to Kakashi, but the susanoo Kakashi produced from it was his (Kakashi's) symphony, which only he could have played the way he played it. Once Obito died and took back the instrument he gifted Kakashi, the later couldn't play anymore. Not because he wasn't still a great musician, but because he had lost his musical instrument.

The Sharingan was constantly activated, which would drain Kakashi’s chakra reserves, hence why he kept it covered all the time. Without it, he’s able to better conserve his chakra and use more jutsu.
People forget that Kakashi, even temporarily, had 6 paths power... meaning he had a much stronger connection and understanding of chakra....
And using that experience, he was able to level up to create purple lightning and reach a whole new level.....
It's not that the lack of Sharingan helped him, but that the 6 paths power he got after losing it more than made up for the loss.... even if it was temporary, it gave him boosted knowledge...

If i recall correctly. Kakashi himself states that the Sharingan eye is a CONSTANT drain on his stamina and chakra reserves. He was never at 100% in any of his fights. This may even be what made him deadlier, as he used his genius to work around the constant strain to his body.

Truth is kakashi got nerfed the moment he got the sharingan cuz of chakra drain. He cannot freely use it cuz he's not Uchiha. So the sharingan is always active. Meaning he cannot use jutsus that consume massive amounts of chakra. Since he lost the sharingan he has access to a much larger pool of chakra, thereby increasing his strength

However, u should remember that kakashi was a genius like itachi and it wouldn't have taken much longer to learn them. However, his genius was no longer once he got the sharingan. He got depressed and stopped training. I'm not saying that kakashi was weak when he had the sharingan. But u must remember that most of the time during fights he gets tired quickly. If u had noticed, most of the time he keeps his eye closed meaning he wants to reduce the drain. He's not actively using it but it's wasting chakra.
About kushina, yes she has a lot more chakra but she isn't a genius like kakashi or a hardworker like guy. It is not unexpected that she isn't strong

As he keeps using it, his vision will slowly deteriorate to blindness, thereby reducing combat effectiveness. But yeah, Kakashi was never weak. He just could've been a whole lot stronger

Hokage Kakashi meanwhile actually has a lot feats that was actually shown during he was Hokage and feats way better than their own statements. Like putting up a Quartz Wall, which is way stronger than the Mud Wall and used it to cover an entire country for 24 hours while it is stated that no one can use a regular mud wall for half a day. Hokage Kakashi also countered a water jutsu powered by the chakra of the Sage of Six Paths using his fire jutsu, an elemental affinity that is supposed to be weaker. That feat alone makes an argument if Kakashi is stronger than Hashirama, but even I’ll say that it’s not absolute so it just remains as an argument. Hokage Kakashi is also phyisically stronger and faster than his War Arc. Kakashi defeated 50 Jonin Level Ninjas by himself without using any Jutsus at all (Tobirama losing to 20 Jonins 🤮). It was previously stated that Orochimaru is strong enough to defeat an entire Village, in Boruto it is stated that Kakashi is capable enough of defeating an entire nation alone. The rest of the Hokages not named Hashirama and Naruto isn’t going to do shit on Kakashi, lol.
it goes to show how well fleshed out this series was. bc I really never took into account how many big time fights Kakashi was in. since the jump he's been fighting the biggest threats to the leaf. he was even ready to fade Sasuke in shippuden. imagine how many well thought out characters have to be in your story for a character like Kakashi to be glanced over.
