Congrats on the purchase bro! I have a 2020 GT as well and I’d like to warn you that GT’s with a production date of 09-01-20 to 12-01-20 have a TSM recall out for a right cylinder head replacement. I peeped the CEL was on when you started it up. You can see your production date on the driver side door jam.

I love it! I purchased a Black 2019 GT Premium 10 speed with chrome wheels last September. I was looking for a Black on Black and couldn't find one. Just like you I couldn't pass up the car and it only had 7700 miles. Great choice for you again , I love it!

Got a brand new ‘19 GT 6Spd in October of ‘19! Only 25K miles on it in almost 3 years & I FREAKING LOVE THE S550 LAYOUT! Your channel is actually one of the reasons! I didn’t even know how to drive a manual back then & now I’m banging gears like a maniac😂. I actually drive like a grandma. Car is a freaking beast though & it always breaks necks!

I know I’m a year too late, but your cobra videos had me interested again in my true dream car. With that being said, I got my cobra 10th anniversary last month with 41K miles on it and in Crystal clean condition. I absolutely love my dream car and will honestly never consider selling it. The reason why, when I was a kid the Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper, and SVT Cobras were the hottest sports car. Now you don’t seem too young but your in an era where 08-2014 Mustangs were your hot car. So getting rid of the Cobra was not a bad option. I also own a S550 but a 2.3 Eco with the 10 speed. That car is my daily and I have thrown everything at it minus a new engine. So overall your doing great bro and I will continue to watch your videos.
Congrats Derek! You will love driving it for sure. I have almost 10 times as many miles on mine, a 16 GT premium PP, and it is still as fun to drive as it was on day one! Looking forward to the new content!

I too bought the 2020 Ford Mustang GT Premium in Rapid Red. I can feel your Pride and Joy! Mine still has less than 10K miles on it. When I test drove it, it had 4 miles on it. I live in Colorado so I only drive it in nice weather. I love my 2020 FMGTP!

Word of advice from a 10spd owner, don't use paddle shifter for upshifting, only use them for downshifting when driving aggressive. Throw it down in S, shift to lowest gear, stomp the gas and put it back in D right before redline.

@@kyrierose170 because it's not a DCT and doesn't shift exactly when you press the paddle so you can't get it as close to redline as the car can itself

Please let us know what you think about the paddles after driving it for a bit. I test drove one and it was great in auto but when I put it in S and used the paddles, it kinda wanted to freak out

Just picked up a 21 pp1 a few weeks ago and added a vmp Loki supercharger to it. Definitely recommend. Congrats on the whip.
I test drove a 19 10 speed and I loved it. I don't believe it had the active exhaust though or I may have leaned more towards it than the 2018 Camaro ss 1LE I bought instead. That mustang sure ripped in a straight line and the 10 speed was amazing but the handling of the 1LE did it for me. Plus I really wanted a manual so I didn't go with the mustang's crappy MT82. This is my first manual and I live in the mountains so I figured it'd fit where I live a little better. Plus I am a graduate student and probably 70 percent of the sports cars on campus are mustangs anywhere from the EcoBoost to the 5.0

i dont think its stock like maybe it has the resonator box deleted. another telltale sign is that it also looks lower than a factory 2020 gt. like it might have lowering springs or something.

So I have the same car. 401A with everything but magnetic suspension. Couldn't find that unicorn sadly. But you should be sure to check out your bank 1 VCT Exhaust solenoid. It will be something that changes the entire feel of the car if you get it repaired. When you are at a drive through and you just let off the gas when just pulling a low RPM pull. Listen for a little metal sound. If you hear it when you let off around 2200 rpms. You can see if it is the solenoid by unplugging it and doing the same thing. I had Ford warranty the repair and my experience with the car has been outstanding.

For a daily it's great, you got the fun sport mode with the paddle shifter when you wanna have fun and thrash it, then you got the regular drive mode for when you just want to relax and save gas lol.

That paint is so nice! I wish I could make my 2016 5.0 look that new again. I’m running deep impact for the color and that paint stays dirty. You can clean it, come back out in an hour, and it’s already dusty if it’s a dusty day , and if not , it just has water spots that are almost impossible to keep off even when hand drying . The paint is such a gorgeous color, but gets dirty so easy. Literally everything from water spots to dust shows up on that paint lmao. I’ve been looking all over for a decent detailer to make the paint look brand new again, but no luck so far. Nobody knows how to detail around here
