Two questions are answered in this discourse. The first question asked was- Why do we worship Krishna and Radha but not Krishna’s wives
Om Swami says, that as a practice, praying to Radha Rani is recent and is not more than five hundred or six hundred years old, from a historical point of view. In the two core scriptures the Mahabharat and Srimad Bhagavatam where Krishna’s praises are sung, there is no mention of Radha Rani. In the Bhagavat Puran there is just one indirect mention of her. In the southern part of India Krishna is worshipped without a female consort but in the north of India Krishna is worshipped with Radha. He says, for a devotee, Krishna without a female counterpart would have been incomplete as all other gods had their female counterpart. He says that the worship of radha Rani was also popularised by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Om Swami says that from an esoteric point of view Radha Rani represents krishna’s feminine energy. It is said that the essence that flows out of Krishna is Radha. The emotions of shraddha, daya, nishtha etc are all feminine words representing energies. Praying to Radha Rani evokes devotion, humility, love- all the emotions that the gopi’s felt for Krishna.
What is best way to gain scriptural knowledge and pass it on
Om Swami says that the best way to pass on spiritual knowledge is through one’s conduct. A spotless conduct will have a great impact on people in innumerable ways. Spiritual information can be passed on through books. But wisdom, knowledge insight, and grace is passed on only with conduct. He says, the best way to acquire spiritual knowledge is by having faith and to work on anything taken up, patiently, and then internalize it. Spiritual knowledge is something that can dawn on a person through any beautiful verse from any of the scriptures, or anywhere, or some incident or occurrence in one’s life. Ultimately, reflecting on that leads a person to their truth.

8.10 My Sashtang dand pranam to Guruji. Thank you very much for this lecture. The Radha aspect is explained so well. I have never heard or read such a convincing and logical explanation anywhere else.
Pranam,
Your books have been great path layers, thank you so much.
My humble Obeisance to Swamiji. Loved your thoughts on Radha Krishna. But I thought that Shrimad Devi Bhagavatam's Ninth Canto, Chapter 1,2 and 3 and the entire Brahmaviarta Puran talks about Krishna being an independent form of Parmatma rather than being an incarnation. Along with him, it talks about his highest form of Shakti called Radharani who resides in a spiritual planet called Goloka. Also Bhagavatam (1.3.28) also talks about all the incarnations and amshas coming from krishna who is God himself (kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam) and so does Bhagavad-Gita.
For authentic info u shud dive into Vedas and not Puranas.
People tend to take the stories in the puranas literally without understanding the tattva behind it. It's not meant to be nit picked. You have to see beyond words.
🙏
@@shreya3604 No Nityas, No Lalita, No krishna are mentioned in Vedas..... please ask Swamiji if he has gotten darshan of all of them or not. So please this crap of not nit picking things and reading beyond words doesn't work with me. For me not picking things and reading beyond words are not mutually exclusive. I can do both at the same time. Every pastime has an essence and is performed for teaching us something. It doesn't mean that it never happened. 😊
@@adiparashakti8071 I didn't ask u to not enjoy the pastimes and that it never happened. I enjoy them myself and feel the most ecstatic when I'm reading them but what I meant is there's a deeper philosophy behind all the past times and people forget about that but only dwell upon the literal meaning of that leela. The leela loses it's very essence this way.
🙏
@@shreya3604 I just pin pointed out the fact that in many scriptures, Krishna is the ultimate reality rather than being an incarnation through various references from the Scriptures. Be it literal meaning or philosophical meaning, it reveals Krishna being Swayam Bhagwan rather than being an incarnation. And it's not only Iskcon, rather many Vaishnav Paramparas which consider Ram, Krishna as ultimate realities rather than being an avatar of Chaturbhuji Vishnu. So organizations like Iskcon is doing out of Paramparas. 🙏🙏
@@adiparashakti8071 organizations are inclined towards a particular form of god and they only glorify that particular form. Just like ISKCON glorifies Krishna and calls other forms of Ishwar as demigods.
Does this mean that whatever they're saying is true?
Shiva, Durga are demigods?
In Shakta and Shaiva parampara, they are glorified as supreme.
So we can only conclude that all the forms of Ishwar are param reality. Be it formless or even with form. And whoever we connect with can become our Supreme Truth or Ishta. ❤️
🙏

Guruji Kindly accept my humble obesiances .
Guruji I am confused about the two forms of worshiping in Gaudiia Vaishnav Sampradaya
I.e brahman swaroop and manjari swaroop .Kindly throw light on
this aspect of bhakti .Understanding the divine is becoming bit difficult this way .Although is a 500 years old sampradaya ,then also somewhere in my mind I have this question .
In this Sampradaya it is Radha Rani all that a devotee needs .
I have a firm belief that it is only conduct that counts .
I just want to make it clear in my mind
I am writing this to all this bec somewhere in my mind I have some doubt Guruji
Kindly help!
Ever Yours in the name of Lord
Radha is mentioned in tantras and pancharatras what about that then.
Because tantras work with energy and Radha Rani is energy as Swami ji is talking about
Saliva keeps on rolling down the tongue..need to engulf it over again how to keep tongue and teeth in place to avoid it..please guide GURUDEV...
Keep ur tongue attached to the roof of your upper jaw. So that it is inclined at an angle.
This has been told by Swami ji himself and I'm trying it. It does help.
@@shreya3604 Dear did you meet Swamiji in person?

Sometime or somewhere ISKCON misguides people about Shri krishna or the incarnation of VISHNU n all.... I don't know why ISKCON always n only elaborate the Krishna only supreme n all.... I'm not biasing with anyone but ISKCON is puzzled...that's I found ....I could be wrong but ... ISKCON is out of my understandings.
🕉️
Brahmaji in BrahmSamhita prays..
'Govinda adi purusam tam aham bhajami', which means...I worship Govinda who is the primeval Lord.
Primeval Lord means the first or original person. Before creation only Govinda existed, noone else.. Brahmaji is confirming this.
From Govinda then came the Vishnu expansion and then from Vishnu came the ten incarnations.
There are many Yuga cycles.(each cycle is made up of 4yugas Satyayug, Tretayug, Dwarpar yug and Kaliyug) In each yuga cycle there is Dwarpar yug, in which Krishna incarnates.
In most Dwarpar Yugas, the Krishna who incarnates is the incarnation of Vishnu.
However, in this PRESENT Yuga cycle (of which we are a part) , the Krishna who incarnated in the Dwarpar yuga is not an incarnation of Vishnu. The original primeval Govinda descended Himself.
So this is a very, very special Yuga cycle.
In south india, the Vishnu incarnation Krishna is more popular that is why Srimati Radhrani is not worshipped along side Him. Whilst in the North, where Krishna as the Original Govinda is worshipped is always with Radharani on His left side.
So he was biased towards the north ppl?
I have never heard of this theory before.
Also he is factually wrong about Krishna Bhakti or Krishna being lost for 4000 years. We have great saints, and famous alwars in the south who had been praising Krishna and Ram with their respective shaktis. All his incarnations has been worshipped by various paramparas in all time periods. And apart from being the Supreme God, krishna is also a historical character. We have so many archeological evidences related to Krishna and mahabharat.
@@shreya3604 it's not a bias Rather the geographical location of Vrindavan and other places related to the Life of Krishna. In north specifically Vrindavan, we witness Madhurya Rasa, Sakhya Rasa and Vatsalaya Rasa more because of similar pastimes of krishna in Braj with Radharani. In West and South, we see Krishna in his 4 armed form (even as Dwarkadhish) with his Ashta Bharyas because of Dasya Bhakti. The original form of Govinda is that of a cowherd boy rather than being of a king even in Goloka.
Pranam Swamiji...
