    What should be the height of the overlay crown , doc? It was a very informative, educative video with great graphical demo at the start . Thanks for the efforts.

      that depends on the specific case. Do you want to increase the bite or not, what are the antagonist teeth...a think a minimum of 1.5 mm of occlusal thickness is necessary

      What if we want to increase the height by 2-3mm such as in cases of FMR ?

    • @wallyrenne
      @wallyrenne  Před 4 lety +1

      Big Dental a multi bottle dual cure compatible 6th generation like optibond XTR or a universal adhesive with selective etch like Adhese Universal

      @@wallyrenne In your opinion, with the case of less enamel (attrition is caused by clenching and bruxing) should use any kind of cement ? Thanks you!

    • @wallyrenne
      @wallyrenne  Před 4 lety

      Big Dental Any adhesive resin cement never conventional cement for me, even if no enamel I always bond and use resin cement

    Do you always have to prepare interproximal if healthy tissue present?

    • @wallyrenne
      @wallyrenne  Před 2 lety +2

      No. But most of the time the tooth has already a MO, DO or MOD restorations. I never leave a margin near a contact point. So if it is close to contact, break contact

  • @user-uw3hc3hu2n

    In overlay ..finish line must be pararrell to long axis or with tooth inclination??

    • @wallyrenne
      @wallyrenne  Před 6 lety +1

      محمد ماهر the finish line is to maximize enamel
      Bonding. It is oblique to the enamel rods and angled down at around a 45 degree angle.
