I love when Untergangers subt(it)ly flex by showing they know what is actually said, or at least make the subtitles somewhat congruent (e.g. not having "Fegelein!" be something completely different).
This, compared to the subtitles, is the most realistic downfall parody video I have ever seen years ago. 10 desk bangings and 3 others hits (hand, gun and phone hang up)= 13 in total and the bunker is down!

I always thought it was funny how he banged the table casually, as if everything was going fine, and I forgot after watching this parody for a while that it's made to where every bang makes the bunker closer to ruins, and so when I saw the smoke and heard the bang amplified, it made it all the more funny for me xD!
slight inaccuracy: zhukov was the marshal at the time of Downfall, and I think zhukov was who that guy was trying to send a message to. chuikov wasn't marshal until 1955
Yes, Zhukov was in charge of the Berlin offensive (Commander of the First Byelorussian Front). Chuikov was the commander of the 8th Guards Army, which was under Zhukov's command and spearheading the thrust into Berlin....sorry, I mean into the Unknown City. Though it is extremely common for people to mix Zhukov and Chuikov up for some reason.

Considering some of the things Hitler committed to during the war, I wouldn't have been surprised if he actually tried something like this so late in the war had the bunker been in the same state.
I object to this video! Really wanted to enjoy this video... unfortunately for me subtitles were difficult to read. Not all have this issue - maybe it is just the small laptop monitor I am using or the brightness. Anyway, if you can use yellow and the normal font for subtitles, as the round letters tend to blur into the background smoothly and the white color of the font gets lost in the white color of the film.

+Vincent Chen there was almost no swearing in the film at all. Neither Hitler, nor his generals ever cursed in the film. one of the women (traudl, eva, or gerda) says "verdammt" (damnit) at one point and a soldier yells "scheisse" (shit!) in a battle scene. But that's it.

The bunker could do with some new sconces. I'm a sucker for a decorative sconce, just like Magda Goebbels. And if ever a hideout needed some flounces, the bunker was it. Given the time and the money, I'd make it an effing showcase! I even have my own screwdriver.
