Lavinia Mari Okay I had not heard of this young lady UNTIL..... my 6 year old had me and my husband sit down and watch the RDMAs. OMG...she wow'd me when we saw her on the show. I went and looked the song up and I TOTALLY agree.... this version is WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the studio version. Pure vocal talent which is lacking in the music industry today. ABSOLUTELY LOVE TORI KELLY. She is a new found artist for me.

God really blessed her with such a priceless voice because she's such a great, pure, genuine person. She remained the same even when she received so much fame. I should be jealous, but instead, i admire her
God gave her a head start, but those iconic riffs and runs that she does are the result of hard work and practice. No one is born able to do runs like that. She is a mix of God-given talent and hard work. She reminds me of Beyoncé, just not as flashy.
+PetroleumJellay you are right. In every one of her performances, the runs are so original every time…she is a TRUE artist, she isn't rehearsed. She is raw in spirit, and we are fortunate enough to witness it in this lifetime.
+PetroleumJellay I honestly think her runs and Adlibs are sharper and flow smoother than Beyonces, and Tori is only like 23. Possibly the most gifted vocal ability since the likes of Whitney Houston and Mariah. I don't mean powerful voice necessarily, but purely the endless unique note combinations Tori can perform effortlessly.

Her runs just fits into her singing very naturally. It's not forced nor meant as something to impress and to show off. It's just there as if it was meant to be there. Most singers pull out runs only to impress and show off that they can hit successive notes at once.
