I was honoured to be asked to choreograph for High Up Entertainment's new girl group STAYC. I know how important a debut can be and really wanted to give these girls a unique vibe, for such a great song. Hope you enjoy my original choreography demo for their debut, with some of the amazing ladies from NZ.

This was my 2020 SOTY! I also adored the choreography! The choreo during the chorus is iconic, especially when they bow down and come back up for body rolls at 1:18. It's just so perfect for this song. I also love how the choreo charges up for the third chorus at 3:09. It's such an adrenaline rush! Thank you so much for giving them choreo that does the song justice! 🥰🤗

@@badskyy They already filmed a music video, and they are practicing choreography (source : yesterday vlive). And they said that a lot of content and good news will be released soon.

the slowed down choreo .. LITERALLY ICONIC!!!!! and stayc did you justice by performing with 100% energy 😭😭
in the stayc version, i always thought 2:43 was a bit awkward, but now i understand how it was supposed to be and it looks cool and not awkward at all. and even though there were changes, i'm glad stayc managed to keep the feel of the of the original choreo, just toned down

The way they filmed it makes soooo much more sense than the performances
I'm really glad they changed so little of this choreo. It's perfect already, just needed a few touches to make it comfortable for them to sing at the same time, but they kept around 75% of it and it makes me really happy. It was also marvellous for a debut.
Wow! I never expect that you will choreograph a rookie group. I hope their career will be popular like other groups with your choreos.

Ooh I never imagined a foreign choreographer doing this. Usually foreign choreographers have very western-style (?) dancing but this choreo looks like it was done by koreans with all the flashy hand formations. GOOD JOB! 🥰
Actually for the last couple of years alot of foreign are doing the choreos for kpop, specially for girl groups. Its nice to see, since they usually give girls more power filled choreos and not only pretty looking choreos as usually.. But yeah kiel is one of the most used foreign choreographers since he captures the whole kpop vibe choreo

Kiel Kiel Kiel... you are SO talented. I don't know how the heck you've managed to perfect the K-Pop hook choreography. Literally all of the memorable parts of this choreo chosen by STAYC (/their agency High Up) were from your choreography and it's no surprise. Your moves are super memorable and catchy, no wonder you keep getting booked lol. (This sounds super fangirly lmao but I'm just shook to find out that you choreographed my favourite parts of this dance)
Ohhhh so they took some of his choreography and another Asian girls choreography then mashed it together to make the final product
All kpop artist do that, they pay multiple choreographers and they mash up their preferred parts
