    when you lead off with the headlights means you probably moved a couple bolts and charged us about 7% more this yr. I think we might be hitting the peak in the sport.

      I like the fact that the mxz xrs is an inch higher for just a little more travel in the suspension. Now let's see a comparison between the mxz xrs and the Rave. Particularly the turbo competition vrs the Rave.

    I would really like to see the same kind of engineers talk with the other OEM!

    A question I would like to see asked of Ski-Doo and all manufacturers is what are you doing to cut the price of the sleds? Massive price runups combined with shorter and shorter riding seasons will be the death of snowmobiling.

      I'd like it to be further asked that when 2 stroke oil is based on crude oil and yea its synthetic. And while the price of a barrel of oil had dropped for a extended period during covid and than why they didn't pass on the cost savings to the consumers. And the manufacturer will say we did pass on the savings thats why it didn't increase more. Just small jumps in price. I guess no difference than their justified price on ice washer fluid. They say the engineering costs.

    Not taking anything away from ski doo or cat but to hear them go on about LED headlights and body panels that remove with no tools I just sit here thinking about my 2015 Axys .

    I sent that handguard idea into ski doo a few years back.They said they would send it to R&D. Wish I ran with the idea myself but glad to see it put to use. Can't wait to own a newer sled some year to put them to use. Well done.

    What I’ve always wondered is why Doo doesn’t just use the Renegade tunnel on all Gades and MXZ sled.
    That way the MXZ’s get the 2nd linq position.
    The extra 3”-4” on tunnel doesn’t impact how the MXZ rides or handles.
    Plus it save Doo time and money from not making a 2nd tunnel for trail models.
    I hope you have a more in-depth video coming of the Gade 900R?

    I am not a fan of the Renegade X-RS not getting the same ride height and shock package as a MXZ X-RS. The Renegade X-RS package should also have the forward steering post as the MXZ; when they moved the four-strokes to the GEN5, this could have and should have been engineered in.

    Question why do the shocks are so much worse on the renegade? MXZ X vs Renegade X no piggy back clickers on x.

    Honestly moving from a 2018 Polaris XCR (AXIS chassis) to a 2023 MXZ Blizzard I was most disappointed in the headlight. It doesn't illuminate the trail like the AXIS did. I bought the added high beam but it didn't come till April. It's mounted up now but I'm really hoping the extra $350ish was worth it and I can get close to my AXIS headlight.

      i sold a 22 doo based on headlight. was the worst then, don't know about now. axys light is better than the maytrx. when night riding is 90% your right, it matters.

    • @MasaCheez
      @MasaCheez Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@mikeh4053 I'm waiting for the day that someone designs a gimbal style headlight so you don't lose your beam as you go through the moguls on rough trails at night. That would be a dream.

    • @mikeh4053
      @mikeh4053 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@MasaCheez to a degree. the shadows give a lot info on how hard you can push it. I'm not looking at the trail ever, i'm so far down the trail anything close is mute. however when you launch at night, takes a bit to see again.

    Do the new signal handguards have an indicator on the inside visible to the rider? The spring display units and the ones at Hay Days did not. IMO, they are useless without it; how do you know what light mode is selected unless you lean way forward and physically look? A BRP Product Specialist told us that the production units would have such an indicator.

    The website really doesn’t tell you what’s different. They cheap out on the shocks. The enduro package is underwhelming in the front end suspension.

    I really want to try a Gade Turbo XRS. Fingers crossed my dealer has a demo I can steal for a couple days this year. I have a Assault Boost coming but am slightly terrified of that Polaris reliability .

      I used to ride Mxz Xrs 600R, id buy a new one every year or so. I switched in "23 to a Renny Xrs 900r Turbo (gen 4) and I'll never go back. Its amazing how well they carry the weight and ride like a Caddy. I've also jumped it a bit here and there and it handles it no problem. Again, its an Xrs, so good shocks help. I'm keeping it for as long as I can and will upgrade when the new 999 motor comes out.
      BTW, my buddy bought the same sled and he powder wheelies it from time to time. Its amazing what they can do

    Would have liked to see the X-RS parked there, but maybe they only had the X available. Also would have been nice to get more information about the quick change track system, if the Renegades have that? (hearing bad reviews but not sure if valid).

      We made a public post on all our social media platforms including this one shortly after the launch of Ski-Doo's 2024 lineup asking what you wanted to know about before we went and did these interviews. We pretty much made a list of questions based on what viewers wanted to know. Would've been awesome if you had replied that post.
