I want to invite you to join me and many others that already support Steveo on Patreon. It is the least you can do. The next thing is to invite others to see his videos and smash even more Like Buttons. What are you waiting for? Go, please, and thank you!!
Thanks Alberto, your support is greatly appreciated! 👍🏼
Alberto C: I also just became one of Steveo's patrons. His videos are always informative, with varied content, and always a pleasure to watch.
I was a patron, and the only reason I stopped is that I could not come to terms in using any of my disposal income , after savings, to be used other than helping the poor. If I won millions I’d buy a PC-12 and do humanitary flying. In the meantime I send clothing, food, money to the underprivaleged in the carribeans and South America. I lived amongst the poor in the Dominican Republic for one year and I was shocked to see how some kids live. Truly heartbraking. I do love the chanenel.👍
Also, love the close up shots of the panel. Stick with those!
Nice to have Reggie with us today. Although Reggie was cool and calm outrunning the storm I had white knuckles. :-)
excellent training lesson! nice work!
I stopped asking “what if” 22 years ago. I truly would like the camera to document the progress of my teenage sons. All 3 are exceptional in their own right. One pursuing trades like me, the other two ; the military. Officer material both. It’s great to witness them all becoming men and it’d be great to document it in pictures and film. Thanks SteveO
That was a little intense. Well done!
It’s always great seeing Reggie back in the cockpit. Great job Steveo!!!
I Enjoy your IMC Flying ,Thx for share Captain Steve
Great job staying ahead of both the weather and the aircraft!
Right down to the wire on that storm! Nice work!
Great vid as usual, and loved the tunes on this one, too. 👍🤘
As a new private pilot that is currently working on my instrument rating, your videos are so helpful and educational. No matter how rudimentary your flight may seem to a seasoned pilot like yourself, I always learn from watching you fly. I've often wondered how to deal with a situation such as this, with weather moving in quickly and blocking published missed, I now know how to communicate with ATC to get a safe alternate. As a new pilot at 41 years of age, who is mostly flying my family to and from, I wanted to say thanks for continuing the educational and entertaining videos. I know a lot of work goes into this so thank you! If I were to win the Garmin VIRB360 I would use it to debrief with my instructor to become a better and safer pilot. Knowing that I have the lives of my loved ones on board pushes me to be the best I can be as a pilot.
As a long boarder, I hope that Boosted Boards will sponsor you in the future because that is one thing I would love to have to get around the airport and be able to keep up with my 11 year old, which has a ton more energy than I do! Please keep the videos coming Steveo and congratulations on all the success!
Byron Congratulations on becoming a new pilot @ 41 yrs old . Do you own your own plane ? If so what make , model & year is it ?
Don't attempt the needle threading he did in this video. Playing chicken with thunderstorms, especially without in cockpit weather radar is a recipe for hurt. Be safe with you and your family...an instrument rating is not a license to challenge big weather.
Mad respect Steveo...thanks for the ride!
I’m about to start flying for my PPL and I think there is nothing better than recording these flights to be as a memory of my flights and to show it to my family and friends.
Amazing situational awareness and staying ahead of the curve. You're a good pilot Stevo O. Kinevo.
Thanks for the ride along, as always, well done Steve ;-)
Great video. ACDC Thunderstruck as the close track nice touch.
Very interesting. Thank you for the ride.
What a flight Steveo! I'm starting my IFR training, so thank you for sharing this! Good knowledge to have to think of weather and the missed approach procedure.
I even felt that jolt you got entering the cloud though the screen!
Unbelievable! Reggie didn't fall asleep. 😂🤣😂🤣
Fantastic demonstration of professionalism. Well done Steveo
Thx again for sharing.
Big Reg!!! Always shows up in his Sunday’s best and a fresh shape up. Best dressed guy of the friendly skies!!
Excellent video. I love when Steveo describes the reasons for why he is doing what he is doing, and how is always planning for contingencies. Great job Steveo.
Brent Agreed ! That’s what makes his videos so much more interesting.
Great safety/risk evaluation and situational awareness. Well done.
Great job. That was exciting and tense. Good fun.
Steveo I just completed my first solo yesterday! Always excited to see your uploads in my notifications. A 360 Camera would be very fun to have for my skydiving adventures.
Hey Steveo, you are a huge inspiration to many people out there to get into aviation. As a student and (hopefully) future commercial pilot myself, I have learned a lot about the life of a professional pilot from your vlogs. I'm starting at a great aviation school this fall (UND), and would love to have the Garmin VIRB camera to record some of my adventures over the next four years and after. I'm sure a lot of people want that camera, and I don't have any particularly 'inspiring' tales about why I would deserve it or should win. I just want to be able to share my flights with my friends, family, and other aspiring pilots. I have my PPL check ride the day after next, so winning this camera would be a great way to start off my lifetime career in aviation! Keep up the great videos!
Good call on thinking ahead about the missed approach!
Brilliant as always Steveo
Would love to get the camera to continue recording and publishing my flights 😎 you and FlightChops is the main reason I started recording. Still working on getting the hang for editing and desperately need more cameras to help with the content!
However, winning the camera or not, just keep this awesome content coming and I will be happy 😃
Fly safe ✈️
Steve - outstanding video!! As a new IFR pilot, it was super educational. The two best points were your thinking on the alternate and working the decision making process for it and the second was moving the missed approach. Just my thoughts but the regional plane was not even thinking about the missed approach, great thinking ahead.
Notice how the controller gave the RJ vectors for an alternate? Probably wouldn't have given that if it weren't for Steveo!
Great video and thanks for sharing how you make decisions with weather
Love the video. Love it when you take off in cloudy rainy cloudy weather. Shortly after take off your in clear blue skies.
Wow, you snuck in there with almost nothing to spare,.. in '97 I did one of those and ran into a downshear that gave us quite a bump! And was like bringing down a bucking bull, but eerily enough the last 40' to the ground was still and smooth (actually a steady crosswind, but compared to the edge of the storm was smooth!) And going to admit getting caught in a sucker hole that closed in my route before as well..nothing quite is like the experience being in red cells with water that is like being under the waves in the ocean, and buffeting around until your teeth feel like they are being loosened..and nothing feels as good as getting through that and coming out into some relatively decent weather after! Oh and I would LOVE to have the Garmin 360, and the images from those is outstanding! And I feel their aviation equipment and camera lines are the top notch of what is available, but even the sunglasses would be great too!
Hiya Steveo and Reggie! Always great videos. Steveo, could you please explain what a Hot, cold and hung starts are and which are bad and why? Thank you!
Wow. That was close. Great flight and insight. I love the bump that disconnect the AP.
Most enjoyable experience flying with you Steveo , you're continued procedural comments are helpful. Thanks for sharing 👍
As a 14 year old student pilot, I only have lessons about once a month, it would be nice to have a camera so I wouldn’t forget things in between lessons.
Emmet Wright ye same lol I’m 13 I have the same schedule. What do you fly?
Futurecashew748 generally the Cessna 152
Hey you two, I sympathise, but cheap action cams are around $50, they'd be good enough to help to stay focused between lessons. If your paying for lessons as a 13 or 14 year old, perhaps you can get yourself a camera.
I learned to fly in a 152 at 17 :)
I saw the "if you see this . . ." but I already hit the like button before I watched the video. We NEVER not like a steveo1kinevo production! !! !!!
same
Thanks for posting this Steveo! Getting ready for crew at ATP and I learned so much from your video.
Loved how you described your avionics and instruments, what they are doing, and the close ups of them. Great video Steve! Thank you!
Reggie’s got his cool socks on!
I just experienced the “get-there-itis” for the first time trying to fly down to Florida. You did a great job in the decision making process. I’d like to enter into win the Garmin because I am going to start filming my flights in an effort to bring more aviation content to CZcams. With me being in the northeast US I think I could bring some excellent awareness to what it is like making decisions with weather since weather varies so drastically in the northeast. All the best and looking forward to the next VLOG!
Great job
Thunderstruck! \o/
BADASS!
Im only smashing the like button cause "I SAW THIS!!!" LOL
Great video nice flying! When it comes to a storm , playing it safe is only decision to have.
Thanks for the bit on the pressurization/ox system. Great vid.
I live in Albany, it’s really cool to see you fly into our airport. I loved the drone footage at the end. Did y’all eat at Austin’s where you ended the video?
Wow! I seriously love watching your videos and seeing all the different adventures you have taken! Your adventures & flights are truly an inspiration to seek out new experiences! After watching some of your videos, my family and I got inspired to create our own channel full of our adventures! Soon we will be adding some flying videos! Believe it or not, it is a goal of ours to get our pilots license in the near future! It would be so amazing if we could see and experience what you have done! We ar3 so incredibly excited and anxious to start on this goal! Winning that garmen camera would be a bonus and help us film our adventures, just like you! 🛩📸📽 Adventure on!! #SaltLife
#AdventureEncounters Nice goal! Good luck!
Thank you!
I love the way how you accessed the situation and made a decision. Also the great plan for a missed approach and diversion
Love your flights on CZcams! I learn something new every time I watch one. Thanks for being such a good instructor.
Fun seeing you at Oshkosh bro. I have put your playlist on all day on the common office big screens today. BOOM!
Cory Robin where can we find the Steveo playlist? Do share!
czcams.com/users/steveo1kinevovideos?disable_polymer=1 It's just all his uploads set to autoplay on the TV. ;) yeeehaw!
Love seeing that my favorite CZcams pilots watch each other’s stuff. A Steveo and Cory Robin video would be epic!!
🤗🤤
Did that Cessna on short final go around? Feels like the tower should’ve had you wait till he was down
Gor I thought the same. But maybe the cessna was practising missed approaches and tower knew it.
Juhuja LP true. 2 mile final seemed a bit close to give SteveO takeoff clearance when he was still that far from the turn onto the runway
At 5:30 you can actually hear the tower give him the direction to “execute missed approach”
NiklasStøterau implying that he went around for practice or because the runway was active?
2-mile final on a Cessna is only slightly faster than grass growing. At two miles out you're still probably at 600 to 800 feet up. That's like a minute and a half to touch down.
Thanks Steveo & Regi
Excitement! One of your best videos because of it! Great music and great drone footage at the end. Thanks!
Wall of rain approaching ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hi Steveo! I would like to have this device to capture my flying moments in my country India.itbis a fabulous country which is very picturesque and unwound like to capfure it and sgare it with the world.
Regards
Akash
Awesome flight again Steve, there were a lot of decisions to be made through out the whole flight, but you made the right decisions. I like the drone footage at the end. Keep the videos coming.🛩
Thanks for sharing your decision-making process. Stay well. Take care.
Fabulous job Steveo. Always enjoy your professional airmenship and lessons learned from flights.
Great video, as usual, nice lesson as to how to handle a missed approach that takes you into worse weather. Thanks!
another great video...getting motivated to fly again
love the end
Communication has always been tough for me, but listening to you helps the comfort level! Thanks! Would love to video my trips like this!
Love these videos
Wow! Really enjoyed that. Thanks.
always a pleasure watching your Vlogs. Please keep on taking us along your flights.
Great planning and anticipation.
Thanks 🙏.
And thanks for all your explanations...keep going 👍
Awesome video Steve. Loved the insight into the decisions pilots make every day. Blue skies pal.
Great job Steveo. Love this video ! I always say that I learn from every “ride” with you, but this was a valuable reminder for all of us that are pilots. Thanks for sharing, with your usual, excellent explanations.
Nice flying ! as always
definitely one of my favorite videos of yours; great ADM in here throughout the flight.
Love Reggie's contribution to the start up procedure at 1:50! Steveo: Air Vent is open....you've been a huge help Reggie!
Great timing!
Great video captain Steve
Love your videos
Best yet - exciting. Good job
Decisions decisions....nicely done with minimal pucker. Great drone shots at the end too! Good to see Reggie back.
Excellent video again. I love how you are always talking and explaining what is going in the A/C. Also showing and pointing to the instruments while explaining items. Never a dead spot. It's always interesting. Keep displaying the instruments to show us whats going on. Looking fwd to your next video.
Amazing, proves how awesome weather can be, not always in a good way, intense but great to learn from, your professionalism is amazing!
As a CFII, I would use the Garmin camera as a teaching tool to provide students with the capability to critically analyze our training flights. The ability to record cockpit instrumentation, audio communications and view the exterior environment in an "off-line" mode would be very valuable for their flight training.
This is one of my all time fav videos. Keep it up S1K!
Great video. Reggie looked nervous! Your timing was perfect. Nice to see you had an alternative missed approach procedure all ready to go if needed.
Love the new panel cam. Nice.
Really super job there, Steveo. Boy, you did make it just in time. Great job on planning the alternatate, in the event of a missed approach. Enjoyed the flight. Look forward to the next flight. Happy Flying, and Safe Landings.
You earned the thumbs up with that little sneaky on the wing. Love your videos, definitely needed the post today. Thank you for the gift, and opportunity to escape into your world for a little while.
Quality Steveo quality
Thanks SteveO for these awesome videos.
Every video puts me back into the cockpit.
Great job Steveo!
Great planning. Loved the video.
Hi Steveo- always great work - safe travels!
Excellent video! I just got my IFR and never thought about asking for a alternate missed. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
That's cutting it close! Enjoyed the flight!
awsome flight Stevo, always entertaining
Music at the end was kick ass!! Great video AGAIN!
brilliant
To prove you can teach an old dog new tricks, your videos have encouraged me to continue my professional training. It's never too late !
