iPhone is the benchmark in Animations whether you talk about Navigation gestures or Dynamic Island they are truly undefeated till date but OnePlus also has come a long way whereas OneUI feels the same now with Overload of Features and little menus all throughout the device......
1 iOS (more consistent and fluid)
2 Oxygen OS (almost close to ios)
3 OneUi ( need more work on animation fluidity tbh)
do you know that you can set the "smoothness" in your animations to make them seem more fluid and not just fast as hell?
in developer options if you set 1,5x animator duration scale it becomes much better

@@NI0C every android phone has this feature, but i reccomend doing that in newer phones or flagship ones because the animations are much better to see and make up for a fluid experience

I still hate Samsung's choppy animations even tho I own the 24Ultra 😡😡I don't know why Samsung is too lazy to just up their animations.
Coming from a OnePlus 9 to a Z flip 6 I noticed right away how smooth and fluid my OnePlus 9 was. Unfortunately OnePlus does not make a smart flip phone. I really like the form factor of the z flip 6 having it for a week now. Maybe Sammy will focus a bit on smoothness with Android 15.

OxygenOS/ColorOS/RealmeUI is such a good UI in terms of design and animations, they're quite on par with iOS. The only thing it lacks is lockscreen customization (which might be coming in OxygenOS 15)
You should try the pixel on the Android 15 beta 3 the recently released beta is mind blowing. It's just as great as ios or OnePlus. The fluidity and animations are next level. The have worked on the stutter issues.

I have used all three. I actually own both s24 ultra and 15 pro max. The android phones still have long way to go to match up the fluidity of IOS and its consistency over the time.

For me Samsung is the overall better phone , but oneplus animations are the best here because they do have the background blur and moving wallpaper like the iphone but the animations are also slower wich makes it smoother. Samsung is something different tho it has fast animations wich doesn't feel smooth but not choppy or bad but it feels snappy and responsive and I like this the most but if we talk about smoothness oneplus takes it. Iphone doesn't because it has faster animations than oneplus and Samsung Is just doing something different lol

The first thing I do when buying a phone is deactivate the animations. or reduce them to a minimum. They bother me. question of taste

2:28 I agree that app opening and closing animation is slightly better on oneplus but look at the search animation and clock animation on Oneplus, it was bad.

It's not Oxygen OS. it is Colour OS. you should compare it with oxygen OS 10.
Although the OxygenOS system is good, it is not up to par with the software update policy, but it is too good and fluid

I am on the Samsung side, but I have to say that I do not like the animations at all, nor the notification panel, I feel that in the notification panel there could be many more animations, however, there is absolutely no animation when interacting with it brightness, the volume bar, turning on or off a switch on the bar, it's just very boring in my opinion, and it makes me envious seeing how Apple really puts effort into its animations :/

I used to have android that have 144hz but i switch to iPhone 15 that has 60hz,
I unexpectedly fine to it theres only little difference only in scrolling even in touch response but the fluidity and smoothness i feel in iOS man, they really nailed in animation departement even they dont have back navigation,all those animation seems “oh,this make sense”and that affect to my user experience..now i scared if i gone deeper to ecosystem

Good content. If you want the best animation, turn it off, all the animations. You want to be smooth and fast, no animations take you where you want to be instantly.
CN devs still aren't making effort to bring coherence into their systems.
