Thanks for checking out the video…I have yet to buy or own an Alpha One Niner bag at all..but I keep hearing more good things about them…may have to check them out.
I have the CTB20 -- and think it (overall) a great design for its size -- and have the Whitley on order (which I expect will be arriving soon). May I ask what things you prefer about the Whitley?
@@doubleohhhhseven The Whitley design keeps it much closer to the body, and doesn't stick as far out from your back. It also wears "Longer" against your back. It doesn't feel humped up at the top of your back.
@@brochg, thank you for the response. I can understand what you mean about how the CTB20 can feel against the back, so I'm glad the Whitley wears "longer." I'm also not thrilled with the CTB20's _sticking-out_ aesthetic, but it does make for excellent interior flexibility and capacity, definitely carrying bigger (and carrying more) than, say, my Bellroy Venture Ready 20L. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what I think of the Whitley. Thanks again.
@@doubleohhhhseven Any time! I have purchased dozens of bags this year in pursuit of the perfect bag to take a a convention I am attending at the end of April. The next closest 2 bags for me are the Aer City Pack Pro, or the newer Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5
Hey, thanks for the review! Just to point out an audio issue that I've noticed you've had on previous videos as well, the sound is coming out only from the left speaker/headphone and it makes it difficult to enjoy this otherwise great video. Also there's some stray music that comes and goes at around 3:18. Thanks again for the review!
Thanks for checking out the video and thank you so much for the feedback. I realized I had the switch on my mic. receiver incorrect so moving forward I should have the left speaker fixed and the stray audio must of snuck in there when I was pasting the audio track for my outro…The left speaker thing would certainly bother me…thanks for sticking it through!
Thanks for the great review! I carried my ctb20 for 5 days, and have gone right back to my Alpha One Niner Whitley.
