Its also great that the old Davidsfarm video archive is still on youtube too, i watched the great video you made about 2 stroke carbs on weedeaters and small engines when i had to sort out one a few weeks back.
10-12 years ago you talked finances and I enjoyed it. It was pretty much the same. Its a good life. I get more satisfaction out of having the highest mileage car in the parking lot than having the biggest truck. I rent out all my unused space as well. It wont make me rich but it covers my tax bills.

I enjoy your how cheap i am videos, gives me a few ideas . I even reuse certain food containers for freezing food rather then buying them. Hey, it works! :). Garbage bags.. i just reuse plastic shopping bags .😊

When considering being cheap, Canada is extremely expensive to live in compared to countries like Philippines, Thailand and other south pacific countries. They say about $1500 USD/month is a very comfortable living wage in those countries. I'm surprised Dave hasn't travelled there and made a vlog yet.

YES! These video's were always the best, David talking dollars and sense. Stay out of debt, save your money, own your property and don't buy extravagant things. It's so simple but brilliant at the same time. Rising interest rates are great for those who saved their money, we're actually getting a decent rate of returns. Our 4 week T-Bills from the Treasury here in the US are paying near 4% APR. So, with liquid cash, been putting equal amounts in each week. That way, if the money is needed, it would all return in a month. Our Fed isn't done raising interest rates either, each week the rate keeps going higher. Loaded up on our I (inflation) bonds too paying 9.62% Government always pays, because if they default, we've got bigger problems. VT247

CZcams should require every video to include a kitty.
10k a year for property tax seems high, a farmer should get property taxes greatly reduced
5000 of that is for my home. my farm taxes are already reduced by 75%.
