I would hope that all Americans would rather spend money on our infrastructure than overseas.
What they are doing makes be think of the word treason.
Foreign aid is a left-over from the Cold War. The idea behind foreign aid is helping to rebuild after WWII and that of bribing the leaders of different countries to not become Communist and remain Democratic. Needless to say, the money rarely trickled down to the citizens of the country (Marcos in the Philippines is a good example). Foreign Aid is a waste of money. It's gotten to the point that there are countries that get Foreign Aid that don't need it (Saudi Arabia) other countries are being bribed to "stay the course" (Russia) and others just because they've been getting it for decades and it still doesn't do any good (Greece). But all Foreign Aid isn't money. It is also food, clothing and other necessities for living. These are more important than money because it does reach the people. Giving a government money expecting them to help build their country and help the citizens of their country is not realistic.
It doesn't matter what we think. Especially with Democrats in charge.

Here in the US the tax rate could be 99% and we would still have millions of people living in cardboard boxes.

That is just one example. Foreign aid used to be bipartisan until the Republicans started using it as an easy sell to get constituents worked up.

I remember when the roads were so neglected in different States then, and that it was hard on vehicles to travel on them. At least when Trump came into office, their were many new roads replaced, along with failing Bridges.. maintence on our roads and bridges systems should be top priority, but somehow, the money is being send over seas and my quess is. that the Biden Adminstration will not have nor will find monies to be given to all States that have road or bridges in need of repair. We should have the best roads in the World, with the monies that are wasted on all else.
How long can we leave them there? The longer we can keep them ferrying back and forth, the less mischief they will get into.
