- The Boat Ramps in Miami are wild ! Never did I think the rain would make people act even more crazy ! Guys this is one week before memorial weekend ! Normally I might not have wanted to hear that music playing but on a rainy day... it kind of lightened the mood. And I don't even know Spanish! I agree though, less regulations, more common courtesy should be the general unwritten rule.
Alfred, this is hilarious. Thanks for making me laugh. I love watching boaters loading and unloading at the ramps near our place. It's a real chit-show. The Wildlife and Fishery guys love it too. There's always a few drunk one in the mix. 🤣🤣
That's why I refuse to buy a yacht. I'm worried that my new $50k yacht will get T-boned by a moron who knows NOTHING about boats or a worse an even bigger moron who thinks it's fine to get stone cold drunk before heading back.

My dad always said growing up on a lake “before u head for dock, have everything tied up, and rope ready to go. Once we pull up we double check and we’re good to go
the board on the trailer rotted away from the lag bolts.he was try to keep it in place on the board mounts. iv been there with my 87 Bayliner. I used fishing string to hold board in place while loading up. it worked great. weight of boat held it in in untill I had parts to fix it.
Alfred you should get one of those small lawnchair umbrellas that clamp on to the chair. Just clamp it on the tripod problem solved. If you don't weight your tripod down though you might consider getting some inexpensive weights and some rope to anchor it and keep it safe from a wind gust that often can happens with rain showers.

All these years I've been using a "rig" hook wrong. I see in Miami they use them for the boat dock. We use them to pull up to a oil rig and hook in to fish.
I love the way you think we don’t need to keep creating laws and rules. I have a loud stereo on my boat but when I come into the ramp I turn it off.

love these extended swim platform transoms. These first showed up when I worked in s Florida , where they were sealing off old stern drives and building those transoms and putting on old Evinrude and Chryslers for power. This was in 1979 or so.

My neighbors play that chit, that loud, practically everyday. They don't use their back yard but grill food and party in the front driveway. It is ruining the neighborhood. People that have lived here for 45yrs had to move away because of them being so inconsiderate.
If they are partying in the front of the house, can't you call the Police about that. It's that way in My development up here on Long island, NY.
I had those neighbors too. We loved them because we had loud parrots and it was a fair trade off 😂. No complaints either way! Their parties were lit. Lol once we made friends it was all good. Most fun neighbors ever you just gotta come at the whole situation with a friendly disposition don’t hide in your house and call the cops! Bring them some beer, share it together and once you’re all good with eachother find a polite way to ask them to compromise with you!

There should be a music ordinance at ramps. Yes I know, more laws aren't better but at the actual ramp, they need fined. It is a huge safety concern if you can't communicate with people in a very dangerous area.
