Clarkson is an absolute beaut. Guy is getting a lot of flak, but that's from guys that don't understand his worth. Watch what happens when he plays on a line that cycles it down low with purpose. He is going to be a fan favourite for a long time to come.
Although Clarkson is struggling right now... he puts the effort in day in and day out and is committed to getting better. I think he's such a good role model and I really look forward to watching him grow on the Leafs... although hes not worth what hes being paid now; I think if his worth ethic is any indication.. he will get much better

Just make him captain already. As much as Phaneuf is a great player, this guy or even Lupul just have so much more character to them. Dion always just seems so bland to me. The leafs need a new voice. This guy has so much heart in what he's saying.. it's the game where he jumped the bench that I thought "there's something about Clarkson here with this franchise." Seriously. Lupul or Clarkson for captain. Lupul is the voice of the leafs. I think there's so much heart in Clarkson though.
