This is so beautiful! I'm amazed how you build up the whole painting slowly 😶❤️❤️ I'm learning gouache but I'm having so much problems with portraits. May I ask is this hot pressed paper or cold pressed?

I have never tried it but there are wax mediums for it, it alters the finished painting in terms of how it looks but still I'll try it and post information if I can, also like watercolours it's alright to not seal them

This is a really difficult technique.. Putting a lot of layers in gouache is NOT an easy things...
Why does your gouache look more like oil paint instead of watercolor mixed with acrylic? Is it because of the paper you use or do you mix it with something?
I think it’s just the way I paint, but yes I do like to use smooth hot pressed paper for gouache. I don’t use anything else!
