The thing that people didnt understand is that both Carol and her Mother are só inteligent that they see that Misuzu is actualy false like she wears a mask with her personality that is why they both bombards her with compliments saying that she is cute and all because It disarms her and belittles her Facade.
True, and Carol just wants to mess with Misuzu that's why even if she hurts her and bonks her most of the time, it is really a win win situation for her since she is one of the few who actually let them hang around and is willing to actually interact to her straight and without malice / perversion

Her mom sounds a bit different than everyone else. Like I can recognize the individual words she's using more, which is a prevalent trait in English. If her VA isn't a native English speaker, she's doing a good job impersonating one's accent.
I like that Carol's Mom realizes Misuzu is a good girl once she TRIES to act bad.
