Don’t discredit this finals run. 3rd highest scoring playoff run of all time besides MJ and Bron the 2 🐐. Also played really good defense. Outplayed Embiid, outplayed MVP Giannis, outplayed Curry who’s one of the best players of the generation and won FMVP. Heathy Kawhi is the best player in the league and was playing better than KD, Giannis, and Jokic last years playoffs before he got injured.

Embiid got in the way of Ben. Ben should’ve guarded him. His defense there was like on Tatum in the fourth quarter of game six during the Celtics series in 2023. Ie terrible. I think if Ben had continued to guard kawhi the shot wouldn’t have gone in. He was faster and could keep up better pace. Back when Ben could actually play… my how times have changed.

If Ben instead would have continued to follow Kawhi and pressure the ball, chances are that shot doesn't happen or doesn't go in. Kawhi would need to give the ball up or take an even more impossible shot with both Joel and Ben on him
