+Darth Imperius Very true he said that. However you also have to keep in mind before he became Thanaton, he too had a slave, during the very story that this video points out.... he killed said slave for having heard some of the secrets that he'd learned that elevated his own status.Let that sink in for a moment. His slave saved his life and earned freedom and Thanaton repays that devt by having killed him.It would seem the dark side users have very little issue with hypocrisy. Perhaps Thanaton truly did deserve his execution in every way
One of the few instances were I knew next to nothing about one of the characters. I was unfamiliar with Kel, which is unusual as the Old Republic era is my most favored. As I've told you before, these more obscure match ups are the ones I tend to get the most enjoyment out of. While I'm no fan of TCW Lair of Grievous was probably one of the better episodes that there was and was in my opinion among the most well animated of the early season episodes, so seeing Nahdar was nice. Very much enjoyed the video.
+GreyJedi91 If you like the Old Republic characters so much , you may still have heard of Kell , but when he was older , when he went by his new name : Darth Thanaton :)
+GreyJedi91 My only question is why was Kell not taken at his max potential (Darth Thanaton)? I get why he isn't doing it for Scourge, as 300 years of training at ones physical peak tends to make one a wee bit over powered. But Thanaton was a bit of a wus.
+SSJG Vasto Lorde If Thanaton had been pitted against Vebb at max power, it wouldn't have been a contest. Whether he runs away or not (and believe me, I should know) he would mop the floor with Vebb using the Force.
I like the suggested storyline you laid out for Vebb, but I would have liked it if it included him replacing Bariss Offee as the culprit for bombing the Jedi Temple, possibly bringing Fisto into the mix rather than have Anakin and Ahsoka be the main focus for the millionth time. While the fight between Ahsoka and "Ventress" was really epic, Fisto vs. Vebb did have some potential as one of the best fights in the show.
At First I thought naaah, but the more I think about it, the more I think it would have been great. Especially when you consider, that Fisto is a much more popular character and we didn't see Undili's reaction anyway, so very good idea
I think Jensaari's TCW story arc would have actually been better than what was presented in TCW itself. This would have allowed the character's in those specific episodes like General Krell to be used later in possibly a different story arc.
Promising the power and strength to change the outcome of the war, Nahdar pledged himself to the dark side and notably acted as an agent of Palpatine's will during the Battle of Umbara. However, Vebb's reckless endangerment of the 501st during the battle, including a deception that pitted the elements of the 501st against the 212th, led Clone Captain Rex to lead a coup against the general. Cornered and outed as a traitor by the clones Vebb attempted to escape only to eventually be recaptured despite heavy casualties to both clone units involved. Unwilling to accept a powerful and "enlightened" Jedi such as himself could humbled by clones, Nahdarr broke. Spouting rhetoric pertaining to "a coming shadow", "the new order" and "the end of the Jedi". Declared mad and expelled from the Jedi Order, Nahdarr was subsequently imprisoned on order of the Chancellor and any attempt of the Jedi to question him was stone walled by the justice system +Jensaarai1 Pretty close?
+DB6195 Mine would be similar to yours, I would have had him killed off during an attempt to usurp Darth Vader's position as Palpatine's apprentice during the events of Rebels.
+DB6195 In order to have made this though, the writers of the series would have had to know during production of the first season that there was even going to be a second season or third or fourth. For the Rebels tie in that was suggested, the writers would have had to sincerely had the power to see the future and see Disney buying the rights and actually wanting another cartoon like TCW.
Rewrite. Rex serves as a rebel alliance trooper in star wars rebels, which I say is better because I honestly don't like every clone trooper turning against every jedi. It's an overdone trope.
Hearing your take on how Nahdar would've been used in TCW has me wonder...would you and the others in the Forcecast group consider making an episode all about the best ideas from each of you for that kind of setup?
That new arch for Vebb is really interesting and I would love to have seen that. Throw in a fight with Fisto and that would defiantly be in my top 3 characters of that era. That would definitely get me to watch rebels.
Your Vebb Story arc does sound really awesome! This would make Vebb the first Star Wars Character to be designed for one TV Show and then be brought into another, preceeding Ashoka and Rex. Would the Inquisitor Vebb also have survived Kanan's rescue?
I never knew Thanaton's backstory, Thanks for the enlightenment. In a way he parallels Kallig/Darth Nox they both were slaves that eventually rose to the Dark Council by killing a member. Both of their masters were apprehended by a failed power grab. It's disappointing how his life ended would've been cool if Nox can work side by side or over him.
I think this is some of your best work yet. Your diction was strong and rose during the pivotal points of your presentation, giving it much more gravitas and drama. The editing was tight and the musical choices felt entirely fitting and succinct. I also appreciated the ending, it was interesting to have an overview of the winners exploits.
I think this is my new favorite VS video ever! i love the lesser known characters, as i didn't already have a theory of my own, and was extremely surprised by the complexity and depth of both Teneb Kel and Nahdar Vebb!
I really like your idea for Nahdar's possible story arch and would like more of a "geek rant-esque~" video on it. Very enjoyable video and your production value is getting much better.
Teneb Kel is the closest to my larp. Only addition is my academic study of makashi. Son of Nial Declan. Librarian/secret apprentice to Sidious. Sidious instructs him in Niman and the greater mysteries of the force. His study of Makashi is purely academic, and an admiration of the Sith of the Old Republic.
I love how the Versus Series are starting to use more and more Old Republic characters can't wait to see Lord Scourge Vs. Rahm Kota thanks for all the hard work from all of you versus series makers
While your theory on how Nahdar may have gone on to be the Inquisitor is impressive, there's a few drawbacks: 1. Nahdar's aggression may have first developed from the first Battle of Mon Calamari, in which his people suffered under the Quarren Isolation League. Fisto fought against those guys and won the day, so I imagine that Nahdar would've been grateful to his former master. 2. Nahdar once apologized to Fisto for getting "carried away." 3. Fisto noted that Nahdar died with his heart in the right place. Indeed, in spite of his lust for vengeance, he sacrificed his life so Fisto could escape. 4. The Empire has its reservations about allowing aliens in its ranks, though Pau'ans aren't exactly an issue. I've read about an Imperial Pau'an who interrogated Princess Leia in _Rebel Force: Hostage_, so I guess the Inquisitor wasn't the only one. In Grievous' defense, he may have wanted to see what Nahdar could do against his guards solo before confronting him. The lightsaber forms were embedded into his brain to allow him some knowledge about his adversary, as _Labyrinth of Evil_ can testify. And Tyranus taught him something about using subtlety as well as "fear, surprise, and intimidation." All in all, I love the analysis of this latest video. Here are what I have in mind for future match-ups: *Depa Billaba vs. Anakin Skywalker: Will the Chosen One want another Council member's death on his conscience, like what happened to Yaddle in _Jedi Quest: The Shadow Trap_? *Ferus Olin vs. Asajj Ventress: How would Anakin's arch rival fare against Tyranus' protege? *Aurra Sing vs. Xanatos
+Darth Maze From the show, however Inquisitors were a thing in Expanded Universe for a long time. Kyle Katarn's rival Jerec was a former Jedi who turned, who was almost completely human (or at least resembled one) and when I think of it he kind of has some similarities to Count Dooku so not all Inquisitors have been alien but it would make sense for there to be at least a handful of them.
Awesome video and awesome theory. That would have been a great through line. Two minor nitpicks: In Lair of Grievous Nahdar cares about the soldiers under his command and he values their safety. It seems a little weird that he would later set them up to kill each other in the Umbara arc unless he's given a reason to hate clones. It just seemed a little weird but hey characters have switched characters more abruptly. Also while the story is great I feel it would have been even cooler if Pong Krell was the apprentice of Kit Fisto who becomes disillusioned to the order and defects to Sidious and later becomes the Inquisitor(Though Kanan and Ezra wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating him). I think it would make sense and it would combine the cool factor with the great storytelling. Great video regardless just throwing in my own two cents. What do you think?
+Umesh Narayan Instead of making Pong the designated First Level Boss, he could've been used later in the series when Vader decided that after the first one died he needed a bit more Inquisitor for the job.
My favourite for a long time by you. Which is really hard as I really rate nearly all of your videos as the best on CZcams [in the terms of star was versus videos]. Keep up the amazing work mate!
You gave me the shivers of excitement when you explained what could've happened to Nadar, as always you are a true Star Wars fan, looking not only into the mythology and who the characters are but how they interact with their world and what they can do. I'm definitely excited to see what the next installment brings us.
I agree with your assessment of the animated series treatments of Nahdar Vebb and other little characters that could have been bigger than they were portrayed story wise.
Have you thought about possibly starting an account on Fanfiction.net? There, you could take a lot of your opinions of the Clone Wars series and write your own versions of them to build a better story and tie it into the Legends continuity of Star Wars. Like Nahdar Vebb's possible character progression outlined in this video, and creating a better story for Savage Opress.
To be fair TCW writers sort of just did what George wanted so I don't think you can really blame them for not planning things out when clearly George didn't do that very well in his later years when working on the PT. I think Georges absence is very clear in Rebels because it really does feel like the story is going somewhere and that they are in fact world building.
3:30... dude, you're right. That story arc could've been epic, and your take on it is pretty on point. Although this is a great video, I do have one question though. In your previous versus vids, you said that the form V variant of shien could be used as a form of lightsaber combat. I was wondering how, seeing as it was designed for blast deflection. Is there any difference in approach/ style when compared to that of Djem So when used in lightsaber to lightsaber combat?
+Nomad 96 Anakin used Shien to surprising effect in his lightsaber duel against Count Dooku in Episode II. Sadly, we don't see much of the mechanics of the style in that duel, due to the horrible way it was shot (Zooming on on Anakin and Dooku's faces for the majority of the action without showing the actual choreography was probably the worst decision for a lightsaber duel possible). However, from what I can tell, Shien has far more in common with Soresu than it does with Djem So. Much like Soresu, Shien is all about wide, circular arcs, rapid twirls, and keeping the entire body covered. The biggest difference I see between the two is that Shien tends to angle the blade more toward the opponent, redirecting blaster fire back toward its source, and using the parries in a lightsaber duel to actively threaten the opponent. So, in a duel, it's functionally similar to Soresu, only sacrificing a bit of defensive viability to instead angle every parry and deflection toward the foe, turning every defensive parry or block into a potentially lethal slash. Shien is far less about physical strength and using your opponent's power against them than Djem So is, and is more just about turning your defense into a viable offense. At least, that's my take on how Shien functions as a dueling form, from what I could interpret out of Anakin's first duel against Dooku. Don't just take my word for it, though. I'd say go rewatch the duel yourself and come up with your own thoughts on how it works.
+Nomad 96 I think I can help you out. Soresu was also devised for blast deflection, as it was developed in response to the lack of opposing lightsaber duelists and left nothing but blaster-wielding thugs, which made Makashi obselete. Yet, Soresu has developed to the point that it can be employed as a dueling style, and it is at least speculated that Form V lightsaber combat was developed from Soresu as a hybridization of Makashi and Soresu, Djem So taking more pointers from Makashi, and Shien from Soresu. The difference between Shien and Djem So as dueling styles is their bladework. Djem So is all about a head-to-head contest, using strength to power through the opponent's guard. Shien is much more technical, and has Soresu movements applied with a Makashi mindset, focus down on defense while still having the ability to counter. Not sure if all that helped or confused you more. What do you think?
Aww man I really want to see one with Darth Baras now. I loved every second of this VS and Baras has had an extensive background in both force and lightsaber combat besting many Jedi and also being bested. Would love to see your take on him.
Just wondering, what are your credentials for being able to write a story better then the writers of SWTCW? It's one thing to correct a story and revise it, and a whole other to actually write a decent story throughout and be able to keep its continuity in order. The episode Nahdar stared in was an episode from season 1, which at the time the producer's probably didn't know if the show would continue and for how long, especially when this was only half way through the series. I would of loved Nahdar surviving, but understand what the theme of the story was and why it needed to happen.
+Casper Zanzibar also Krell was awesome and the point of the arc was that clones dont always follow orders they are more then droids having the person survive would run it
This was unexpected Jensaarai, not that I'm complaining. I'm liking the new characters. Great analysis, great editing, and really good song choices. Though I don't agree with the Physical Abilities edge. It was very well-handled and is quickly becoming one of my favorite VS videos. Well done!
+Darth Maze Sry it took so long for me to reply hahaha. I completely forgot about this. Anyway, I think resiliency and strength are the most important things in Physical Abilities and I think Teneb excels in those areas.
quick question Jensaarai1 do you keep count of which character has one the most star wars VS videos? and also would you ever be willing to do a colaboration tournament with Grey Jedi,Reti4,Evan Nova and Antoine Bandelee?
Awesome matchup! Okay, this may seem weird but I really want to write a fanfiction of that arc idea you have for Vebb. Can I do so if I credit you with the idea?
This match up was unexpected, and I was kinda glad you used Nahdar Vebb. I like the way you give extremely underrated characters justice. I have one question: when will you be using Traya and Windu? The anticipation is overwhelming! I have one suggestion: Darth Plagueis vs Darth Bane.
+ashton johnson I would love to see Darth Marr analyzed, as He is my favourite Sith from Vitiate's Empire. However that most likely won't come soon, as we know next to nothing about his combat style and tehinques (other than He is supposedly OMGWTFLOL powerful). What about: Tulak Hord vs Sidious?
***** I know that, but still that is too little to make a decent analysis. We don't know how much He is proficent in force and lightsaber combat. We know that He is damn good, but not how good. Dying from Valkorian's lightning shows us nothing, becouse, I dare say, almost anyone would (especially being disarmed).
+coldfire22 We have some word of mouth stuff for Marr, including the fact he was supposedly able to route entire armies single handedly, and as he led the Dark Council, (and the fact when the PC joins the council he is the one who allows them to challenge their former masters, suggests he is the strongest of the Council.) He also did effortlessly wipe out a group of Knights of Zakul before being slain by Valkorian, and returning as a Force Ghost to work besides Satele Shan is highly impressive.

To be fair Grievous's droid assistant did say that he was not performing up to spec after the damage he sustained from the clones and his earlier duel A lot of people seem to forget this, especially when citing Fisto's feat against him. he was going up against a weakened version of TCW Grievous which isn't that impressive really
I was wondering if I could make a request. me and a friend were wondering who would win between Mace and Vader. could you do a video of that please? if not, that's cool.
I would like to hear your thoughts on a Teneb Kel vs Darth Zannah, or vs Darth Wyylock III, or all the vs each other.I've watched a lot of these vs from your channel and other channels and it seems that normally whoever is the better lightsaber wielder wins the fight. But with these 3 Sith none of them are that great at wielding it instead they more heavily rely on The Force.
Loved your video though I kinda already knew the outcome since teneb kel became darth thanaton and in the inquistor story of swtor his was a member of the dark council and was the inquisitors antagonist from chapter two to the end of the story.
Also, I'm interested with your Vision for Vebb, but I really enjoyed Pong Krell nonetheless. To each his own I guess. Anyway, keep up the solid work and I also have autism.
Are you ever going to add kylo ren to your vs series? Not too many people can disect Jedi and sith or force users the way you can and I would love to see it.
There's too little on Kylo Ren in the movie and novelization to be used properly. The only fighting we saw him in during the Force Awakens film was when he was already seriously injured. Aside there's no statements on what his fighting style even is or if he was even able to rely on his traditional style due to his injuries.
Jensaarai I know this is wrong video but I was wanting to speak out towards the feelings you had for continuity errors for example how in some sources Darth Bane had a purple lightsaber and in others it was red and in other sources it's red with a curved handle. as I see it as history being told from different points of view I wanted to know how you felt about continuity errors and to also tell you that I loved the movies but it was the novels about the old republic especially the Darth Bane trilogy that made me completely fall in love with EU I love your videos absolutely and please continue them
hey if you have time jensaarai would you be willing to d a video that would improve the story of TCW and Rebels characters like just like explanations of what you would have done with each character that you saw( not every single one, but the ones that were created for the clone wars and rebels) and really you dont have to do rebels right away but it would be cool to see more on clone wars. like you did with nahdar vebb, but do it with like pong krell, (idk your take on Hondo, but i do like how hondo is.), savage opress, mother talzan, and any others you would like to do. i would like to see it how you would improve alot of these characters. if you even want to do asoka that would be cool and fine. and also what characters you actually like how they turned out. like some of the clones turned out great id say but i would like to see what ones you would have improved on as well.
+hk858 plus seeing your idea of how pong krell fell would be nice, to. it would have been cool to see that spacificly so you can learn more of what krell is capable of and can do so you can do better vs series with him.
also another idea of a vidoe is having instaed of who went to take on darth sidious,(other than mace windu.) who would have been best with facing him and all or amajority who would survive?
+Jensaarai1 one matchup I really, really, really want you to do is Anakin Skywalker vs Mace Windu. I imagine it being set up in the same way your The Battlemaster vs The Berserker was depicted, as both characters are dedicated lightsaber duelists and martial artists, with the verdict being dictated on their skills in that area. Also, I hope you and the others decide to do book reviews on books from the Legends Expanded Universe, and may I suggest TOR: Deceived and ShatterPojnt as possible candidates? Love your videos and May the Force be with you always. :)
Hello jensaarai, I want to start by saying that I'm a huge fan of your vs series. You're the first of all your collaborative friends I've watched, and the only one in currently subscribed to. Anyway, I'm trying to start my own vs series. I understand totally and completely if you don't, but I would appreciate it if you give me advice as to where to start, because I've never done anything on CZcams before, and I think I'd barely be seen even if I did put anything up. Again, I don't really expect you to reply, but regardless, keep being awesome:)
Blew my damn mind in under eighty-five seconds. Ah, the Sith Inquisitor campaign. Going light-side during that provides hilarity only surpassed by being the Light-Side Emperors Wrath.
the clone wars series could have been amazing. i think the problem with it was that they needed episodes and story arks to come to completion within a couple episodes in order to apeal to younger audiences
Here are some versus series ideas! The Blunt Brutes: Savage Opress vs. Xalek The Bitter Immortals: Lord Scourge (as Emperor's Wrath) vs. Darth Sion The Inquisitor Manhunters: Maw vs. Seventh Sister The Cloaking Jar'kai Wildcards: Boc'Aseca vs. Maris Brood The Dark Masterminds: Vitiate vs. Darth Nihilus The Polymaths: Meetra Surik vs. Mara Jade The Prodigy Juggernauts: Desann vs. Darth Marr The Inexperienced Potentials: Yun vs. Bao-Dur (jedi-trained) + Remote Droid The Young Field Warriors: Nadia Grell vs. Sev'rance Tann The Unpredictables: Komari Vosa vs. Silri The Different Cyborgs: Darth Skotia vs. Darth Vader The Chaotics: Kit Fisto vs. Assaj Ventress The Illusionists: Darth Phobos vs. Volfe Karkko The High Mages: Karness Muur vs. Atris The Unexpected: Darth Jadus vs. Kyle Katarn The Dance of Blades: Darth Nihl vs. Ashoka Tano as Fulcrum The Battle of Beasts: Khem Val vs. Onimi The Cat and the Dog: Juhani vs Knol Ven'nari
Great versus! Just curious but did you use young Teneb Kel instead of Thanaton to give Nahdar Vebb a shot? While I haven't read and books featuring Kel, from what I saw in SWTOR, Thanaton would destroy Vebb no contest.
***** Wow I didn't expect that. I actually mained a warrior in SWTOR and haven't finished the story for my inquisitor yet. But from what I have seen (I am currently lvl 44 out of 50 I think), Thanaton is so strong it's ridiculous. His powers have been very vague so far, but to give you an idea, my character had to obsorb like 5 or 6 force ghosts through an ancient ritual just to have any kind of chance against him. Thanaton has some power that allows him to pretty much kill with a thought. He literally doesn't have to move a muscle or even say anything to do it. This prevents anyone from even coming near if he doesn't want them to. Killing them instantly if they try. The amount of power the inquisitor had to obsorb is so strong, his body is dying and breaking down. Not to mention the voices of the ghosts are driving him mad. And this is all just to be able to bypass that ONE POWER! Not sure how well that fits in with the continuity to be honest. Sorry for the kinda long explanation. Just wanted to give you and other people who see this some backround on how much stronger he gets after he blackmails himself into being respected. P.S. Not 100% sure but, I think he was a Dark Council member as well.
+VampireLord65 He is a dark council member and you take his position at the end of the sith inquisitor story and also you only absorb 4 ghosts but each of them are no joke
I like how very little running *running away* Kel did in this. I suppose I'm a bit old fashioned, but when someone challenges me to a duel to the death, I expect them to have the common decency of sticking around for it. That said, This was an excellent match up, and I came out of it with a new appreciation for Vebb. Well done, sir.
I like the use of underrated characters but here is a match up I think you would like and a cat fight that would I love to see Shaak Ti vs Asajj Ventress both of them masters of makashi, and ataru, with a working knowledge jar'kal and both able to give Grievous a hard time. I hope you do it one day.
+Jensaarai1Have you ever done a General Grievous vs. video yet? My interests peaked when you said that the general was severely underpowered in SCW; I then remembered the cartoon version miniseries, and I remember how he was able to defeat Shaak ti and Ki-Adi-Mundi with relative ease. (I also think he beat K'Kruhk, who was another very capable swordsman) I think that Shaak ti and Kit Fisto are on par with eachother, and Fisto beat Grievous so easily while Grievous destroyed Shaak ti within seconds. So based on Grievous' abilities in the animated miniseries, I think that he is viable for a vs. video. Please +Jensaarai1
I can't wait! ***** Whenever you respond to me I feel like I'm being talked to by a celebrity. Anyways, isn't it preposterous that Kit Fisto singlehandedly defeated Grievous? No disrespect to Fisto, but Shaak Ti is equal if not better in my opinion to Fisto and Grievous completely overwhelmed Ti in the miniseries, twice.
I like the videos of the "obscure characters" more than the "main characters". You're Darth Malek V.s. Yoda is great, but we know the main characters a lot, I like to learn about the characters I'm not familiar with more.
Already suggested this character a few times but i would love to see a bout with the Imperial Knight Treis Sinde. A man of advanced years and profound experience that finds himself in the odd position of being well respected for his skill and wisdom but nonetheless being a maverick to his order for his unusual philosophies and actions. Qui-Gon, Plo Koon or (if you're feeling particularly mean) Count Dooku would be good matches. I find the idea of a moderate maverick among hard liners going up against a hard liner maverick among moderates entertaining for some reason.
Oh! So Thanaton starts out as a slave, but when I start to gain power, he gets all uppity!
+Darth Imperius Yeah, both former slaves, both apprentices of disgraced masters, why couldn't he just like me. :(
+Callidous Because you were both Sith and a Sith's ultimate destiny is to ascend his master by betrayal.
Yeah, but he specifically said, "Your rise from the slave pens has been...nontraditional to say the least." He was also a slave!
Perhaps Thanaton truly did deserve his execution in every way
+Darth Imperius It's easy to forget your roots once you're on top. Humility is not a Sithly trait.

Stephen Pennino good idea!
That would fully tie in with Nadar's established character as well.

Ruination1000 Thank you!
Your Veeb storyline is my new head canon.
Your Vebb Story arc does sound really awesome! This would make Vebb the first Star Wars Character to be designed for one TV Show and then be brought into another, preceeding Ashoka and Rex.
Would the Inquisitor Vebb also have survived Kanan's rescue?
Yeah no. Vebb held his own against grievous and kanan was a high level Padawan to low level Jedi
wait.. darth thanathon? so he is the one that trys to kill you in the sith inquisitor story line for being an aprentice of a ¨fallen¨sith? mmmm
yes he is
+Jensaarai1 What about Darth Jadus Vs. Odan Urr. I would like to hear your thoughts on that fight.
That's honestly an interesting rewrite of Veb's arc.
Always love me some minor characters, and your work is always excellent. Kudos for another great versus!
So the Inquisitor set up of Niman/Makashi
I love how the Versus Series are starting to use more and more Old Republic characters can't wait to see Lord Scourge Vs. Rahm Kota thanks for all the hard work from all of you versus series makers
While your theory on how Nahdar may have gone on to be the Inquisitor is impressive, there's a few drawbacks:
1. Nahdar's aggression may have first developed from the first Battle of Mon Calamari, in which his people suffered under the Quarren Isolation League. Fisto fought against those guys and won the day, so I imagine that Nahdar would've been grateful to his former master.
2. Nahdar once apologized to Fisto for getting "carried away."
And Tyranus taught him something about using subtlety as well as "fear, surprise, and intimidation."
All in all, I love the analysis of this latest video.
Here are what I have in mind for future match-ups:
*Depa Billaba vs.
Xanatos
All the known inquisitors, as far as I know, have been aliens from the TV show rebels.
Darth Maze
Well, barely tolerable.
Was not expecting this vid but glad you made it can't wait for the outcome
Sweet, you've added your used tracks to the credits, that solves some questions immediately~
I liked and faved after you hypothetical story arc. The dangers of not planning out your story is one learnt the hard way..
I agree with your assessment of the animated series treatments of Nahdar Vebb and other little characters that could have been bigger than they were portrayed story wise.
I love tcw but your arc for Vebb is amazing
Have you thought about possibly starting an account on Fanfiction.net? There, you could take a lot of your opinions of the Clone Wars series and write your own versions of them to build a better story and tie it into the Legends continuity of Star Wars. Like Nahdar Vebb's possible character progression outlined in this video, and creating a better story for Savage Opress.
Didn't see this coming. That's the best part of your videos; we don't know what's coming up next.
I applaud your ability to use characters that do not get much exposure. Can not wait to see who you pit against each other next.
I enjoy the short story you talked about with Nahdar Vebb should been like, in the clone wars and Rebels.
Hey this was definitely a good video with characters people don't usually used.
3:30... dude, you're right.
Good video, really enjoy Teneb Kel's character.
+Casper Zanzibar
also Krell was awesome
and the point of the arc was that clones dont always follow orders
they are more then droids
having the person survive would run it
A "showrunner" isn't the same as a writer
Your version of Nahdar's character is total genius! I believe that Rebels shouldn't fart out new inquisitors.
Or at least imply Jerec’s existence, the Grand Inquisitor is nothing compared to Jerec
DON'T MAKE ME DESTROY YOU! - Nahdar Vebb's final words.
love it is was awesome and thanks because it gives me more knowledge of star wars, please make more i eat this videos quickly.
Awesome I've been wanting to see one with Kel used.
This was unexpected Jensaarai, not that I'm complaining. I'm liking the new characters. Great analysis, great editing, and really good song choices. Though I don't agree with the Physical Abilities edge. It was very well-handled and is quickly becoming one of my favorite VS videos. Well done!
What did you disagree about in the physical capabilites?
Darth Maze Giving the edge to Nahdar Vebb
+ForklifterMatt I suppose my question should have been 'Why did you disagree with the physical capabilites part? '. Sorry.
+Darth Maze Sry it took so long for me to reply hahaha. I completely forgot about this. Anyway, I think resiliency and strength are the most important things in Physical Abilities and I think Teneb excels in those areas.
Hey could it be posible that you would make a video of teneb kel vs starkiller I think they are some what a match for one another cool vid by the way
quick question Jensaarai1 do you keep count of which character has one the most star wars VS videos? and also would you ever be willing to do a colaboration tournament with Grey Jedi,Reti4,Evan Nova and Antoine Bandelee?
Awesome matchup! Okay, this may seem weird but I really want to write a fanfiction of that arc idea you have for Vebb. Can I do so if I credit you with the idea?
This match up was unexpected, and I was kinda glad you used Nahdar Vebb. I like the way you give extremely underrated characters justice. I have one question: when will you be using Traya and Windu? The anticipation is overwhelming! I have one suggestion: Darth Plagueis vs Darth Bane.
+Jensaarai1 Is it by any chance Mother Talzin vs Traya? Are any of the two coming next?
***** I despise her as well. Have you ever considered using Darth Tenebrous or Darth Venamis?
Raksta Lsu vs Mace Windu? I personally think this could be a worthy match. One final suggestion: Ven Zallow vs Darth Malak
Hey, is it possible for a versus series with Khem Val? I would like to see non jedi/sith in more than a few matches.
that would actually be a great story arc
Off topic, but what is the music you use in this video?. very nice
Jensaarai, do a Darth Marr vs someone vid. Darth Marr is my favorite.. although I realize there probably isn't much info on him:(
+coldfire22 Well, we can always ask bioware to show Darth Marr dueling Satele Shan or someone

Do you still do requests? If so, can you do An'ya Kuro vs Asajj Venteress please?
Jensaarai1, how do you feel about Exar Kun and Ulic Quel Droma vs. Dark Lady Lumiya and Sedriss?
Did sedriss and lumiya ever fight together?
Well done. Have you considered doing Githany vs Lumiya vs Nomi Sunrider?
To be fair Grievous's droid assistant did say that he was not performing up to spec after the damage he sustained from the clones and his earlier duel
A lot of people seem to forget this, especially when citing Fisto's feat against him. he was going up against a weakened version of TCW Grievous which isn't that impressive really
+DB6195 Exactly. TCW Grievous is hindered by others plot armor already.
TheNuisanceBird Grievous receives a 70-80% nerf whenever Filoni is writing him
DB6195 Whenever the plot demands it pretty much.
Son of Dathomir gave him some justice
I was wondering if I could make a request. me and a friend were wondering who would win between Mace and Vader. could you do a video of that please? if not, that's cool.
Would you please do a contest between emperor vititate and naga sadow? That would be a dark side battle for the ages.
Thanks for the reply. I guess your right, the match up isn't close enough to be a real fight.
We still might get the Vebb arc you proposed, only with Barriss.
a idea for your next versus could be luke skywalker vs darth bane
+Jensaarai1 could you please pump up the uploading volume? i have to put you on speakers to watch you.
Love your work bro
Loved your video though I kinda already knew the outcome since teneb kel became darth thanaton and in the inquistor story of swtor his was a member of the dark council and was the inquisitors antagonist from chapter two to the end of the story.
If possible could you do an episode with Darth Nihilus?
You're back! :D
What happened with that Lord Scourge vs. Rahm Kota video?
Thanks for the video Jensaarai!
Been meaning to ask this : is your avatar fan art or an EU character? Also Cade Skywalker vs Darth Caedus
Caedus.
+hk858 plus seeing your idea of how pong krell fell would be nice, to. it would have been cool to see that spacificly so you can learn more of what krell is capable of and can do so you can do better vs series with him.
also another idea of a vidoe is having instaed of who went to take on darth sidious,(other than mace windu.) who would have been best with facing him and all or amajority who would survive?
you are right about tcw writers. they still had unfinished storylines that would have been perfect and awesome!
another great video
heres a good one
Rakata empire vs the yuuzhan vong empire
round 1 species
round 2 military power
round 3 achievments and tecnology
Faction and war match ups are too unpredictable.
TheNuisanceBird still would be cool
lordjor96 Antoine Bandele has considered starship battles.
Still i guess could be interesting, dont you think
+Jensaarai1 You've done an amazing job on this video great work. I'd love to see more matches where not many people know about the characters
Can we use Darth Thanaton in a versus battle? That would be really cool. Don't know who to put him up against though. Maybe Volfe?
Thanaton in my view is to powerful for Volfe... Not sure off the top of my head who'd be a good match. Perhaps someone like Traya?
hey Jensaarai would u ever consider using Corran Horn in ur versus I would love to see ur analysis of him
+Jensaarai1 hearing that just makes me excited do u have an idea as to who you will have fight him? you don't have to tell me who it is
Nice work..Suggestion: Empatojayos Brand vs. either Lumiya or Savage Oppress
Can you please do Darth Nox Kallig vs Darth Malak?
the clone wars series could have been amazing. i think the problem with it was that they needed episodes and story arks to come to completion within a couple episodes in order to apeal to younger audiences
Here are some versus series ideas!
The Blunt Brutes: Savage Opress vs. Xalek
The Bitter Immortals: Lord Scourge (as Emperor's Wrath) vs. Darth Sion
The Inquisitor Manhunters: Maw vs. Seventh Sister
The Cloaking Jar'kai Wildcards: Boc'Aseca vs. Maris Brood
The Dark Masterminds: Vitiate vs. Darth Nihilus
The Polymaths: Meetra Surik vs. Mara Jade
The Prodigy Juggernauts: Desann vs. Darth Marr
The Inexperienced Potentials: Yun vs. Bao-Dur (jedi-trained) + Remote Droid
The Young Field Warriors: Nadia Grell vs. Sev'rance Tann
The Unpredictables: Komari Vosa vs. Silri
The Different Cyborgs: Darth Skotia vs. Darth Vader
The Chaotics: Kit Fisto vs. Assaj Ventress
The Illusionists: Darth Phobos vs. Volfe Karkko
The High Mages: Karness Muur vs. Atris
The Unexpected: Darth Jadus vs. Kyle Katarn
The Dance of Blades: Darth Nihl vs. Ashoka Tano as Fulcrum
The Battle of Beasts: Khem Val vs. Onimi
The Cat and the Dog: Juhani vs Knol Ven'nari
Kit Fisto fought and was defeated by Asajj Ventress.
My friend can you do Darth Sidious vs Darth Tyranus ?
Sidious.
Great to see teneb/thanaton getting some exposure great video
Happy Uchiha Oops, could have sworn it was more than that.
Also congrats on 30k subs
I like how very little running *running away* Kel did in this. I suppose I'm a bit old fashioned, but when someone challenges me to a duel to the death, I expect them to have the common decency of sticking around for it. That said, This was an excellent match up, and I came out of it with a new appreciation for Vebb. Well done, sir.
Where is Scourge vs Kota? Good video.
1:15 What are these swtor comics called? I want them!
you should be a novelist that would be awesome and teneb kel I probably how I would look as a sith
+Curtis Riley I'd say Shaak Ti in a good fight.
Interesting idea with Vebb - that could have been an excellent character arc.
well I feel like your story arc you described with Vebb basically happened with Barris already, so that would just make it a bit redundant.
If you were a writer for TCW the series would have been epic
Can you do Darth thanaton and Darth bane vs obi wan Kenobi and anakin
Obiwan and Anakin wins, Bane could beat Obiwan or Anakin alone but together ObiAni would overwhelm Bane and Thanaton.
Whenever you respond to me I feel like I'm being talked to by a celebrity.
