    I love what you said about yoga being a way of shaping your life. I think the modernization of yoga has transformed it as a fitness tool rather than a wellness tool. What people are missing about yoga is that it extends far beyond the mat-it is ultimately everything you do, say, and consume.

    This video is so important to me. I feel like I should definitely look into yoga because I've always felt this heavy weight on me my whole life. It's like I don't trust myself with my body nor do I really love it, which is a toxic relationship. I keep weightlifting, but it's more out of hate than love. I always wanted to get more flexible also because I feel like there's this barrier of fear that I need to get over. Thank you, Amanda!

    I love you & your wisdom. I hella feel you on the whole not caring as much about the appearance/aesthetic part of working out. Self love does wonders for getting to that mentality. I love looking good, but the mental health aspect of it is what feeds mah soul! I love lifting, calisthenics, & yoga, but mostly yoga tbh!! 💞

    Totally resonate with your journey. I love lifting weights, but find myself growing closer and closer to my yoga practice as my main "exercise" (besides hiking) and love the way I feel. You seem to have such a healthy relationship with your exercise routine and how it affects your physicality, which is a breath of fresh air! Keep it up!

    Please, keep talking about body positivity as you did in this video! I think many people are slowly changing their workout routine ; the fitness community/diet community is stepping back and as other people, I am not into the superficial impact of working out anymore but I still want to be healthy and active ; doing maybe calisthenics videos or simply continuing this type of videos would be amazing!

    i started watching you right before you graduated college, and i watched a few of your older videos as well, and you seem to have grown a lot since then. you just seem so wise and grounded. or, maybe i didnt know you well enough before. regardless, you're wonderful. the way you talk about exercise and your body is refreshing and inspiring.

    Amanda!! Thank you for sharing with us. I loved when you talked about how it is more important for our bodies to be strong and to be able to dance and move than to have abs and a huge butt. I'm a dancer and I have always loved working out, but I used to care so much about how my body looks that I didn't have time to notice and appreciate what my body is capable of doing. Now that I'm doing yoga and really getting into it, I find that I'm more grateful about my body's abilities and how it feels rather than its shape. And i just want to say thank you for inspiring me and your viewers so much!!

    Hey Amanda, as a 61 year old who has taken care of myself because I was a dancer and bodybuilder. Functional has helpful, especially when health concerns arose. you will find that the recuperation is amazing. BTW, you may still want to look fabulous as you get older... after all you'll be older not dead, ;o)

    I'm knitting too! Right now I'm making a blanket for my little baby, so she'll have something cute when she's gonna be born... You're not a grandma, you just like to work with your hands, and that is awesome!

    Looking at your closet makes me want to declutter my closet now too. All those blankets reminds me of a typical Asian home lol. My house and all my families houses were like that growing up.

    can you make more videos about yoga? I really want to get it in a daily routine but most of it I'm just confused what to do, like I have no plan, idea, no flow :(
    oh and what's your thoughts about getting fit and gaining weight at home like you do now whitout gym just bodyweight and maybe some dumbbels? I do want to gain weight (muscels) but everybody is like the key: WEIGHT training ...¨

    Hey Amanda! I literally just binged watched all your videos and you have inspired me to eat healthy and do yoga! You make it look so fun! But my question is what are your thoughts on metabolism? Because I have a very slow metabolism so I always feel like it’s harder to lose weight.. or maybe that’s just a myth.. idk
    I’d love an answer cause I really look up to you! Thanks❤️

      Emuna Bee no I haven’t, I just wondered cause I always thought that snacking was a bad idea for someone with a slow metabolism and see that Amanda loves her snacks but looks hella fine so just wondered what her opinion would be on the matter😊
