Couple weeks ago, I watched "Big Little Lies" series. And this song came up as an intro. The only reason I never skip the intro because of this song. This is just beautiful and you know make me feel calm and really peace.
You should check out the "Radio Edit" for short version 'cause the full-length of this song is about 8 minutes, I guess

There is NOTHING not to love about Michael Kiwanuka. He’s incredible. I get a Clapton vibe from him but far more soulful.

He is flawless in my opinion. This is the first track from his album called Love & Hate. It’s 9 minutes and 57 seconds long and well worth a listen in full.
My favourite of his is song called Bones from the Home Again album. Guaranteed to make you sway regardless of what you are doing. 🙂
Apart listening to all his albums in full I would recommend Solid Ground (Live at the V&A) and Light (Live at the V&A). Awesome.
I feel the same since the first moment I heard his music as part of an NPR interview following his first album. I love Bones. I listened to his first album nonstop and my favorite rotated but I have settled on Bones now. I still don't understand why more people don't know his music

Both his latest album (Kiwanuka) and his previous (Love & Hate) are absolutely amazing and gorgeous. This performance is very stripped down, the albums are usually grander in scale
From his latest 2019 album I really dig "Solid Ground" and "Piano Joint (This Kind Of Love)".

I would consider listening to Tell Me a Tale and Hero. I love every Michael Kiwanuka song. I'm still amazed more people don't know his music. He's an incredibly talented guitarist with a beautiful soulful voice and a phenomenal ability to write songs that touch the soul. I'm glad you found him and I hope you actually take the time to listen to all of his music. I was lucky enough to chat with him after a concert and he is a remarkably nice and humble guy

I think it sounds like he grew up with a Ben Harper collection in his iPod but, that's probably just me.
The uncut non radio edit is like 8 minutes long. And the 3 minute intro is out of this world

This guy kind of reminded me of Tyler Cassidy’s Rene album. His other music is mostly tongue in cheek comedy or awkward shock stuff to make a point but the Rene album is amazing and completely separate from his other music. It’s a full story album from first song to the end. Worth checking out.
