I personally love Valentino born in Roma and get great performance with it , I also don't think it smells anything like Invictus
they're both unique but also share a lot of similarities
I'm missing something because Born in Roma smelled like cheap cologne when it dried an hour later when I tested it
Born in Roma is unique because it smells like bubble gum but fresh. And it's long-lasting and projects. It's in my top 20 scents rights now, over invictus.
You took the words out of my thoughts! I don’t think it smells like Invictus either. It’s a really nice scent. I don’t know what’s not to like about it

I'm a big fan of Eau Sauvage, I love my vintage 90s bottle... But I'd thought about also getting Armani EPH to have another option in that vein. Thanks for your thoughts on this, I'll probably forgo spending Armani price for something that won't scratch that itch as well as Dior does.

I prefer original light blue, intense is too synthetic to me...
I think they are different enough to be worth owning both. Additionally i smell Eau Intense much more often so I don't think the OG is overused, probably the opposite way round.

Gents! Can you do a short review on proper storage? Where do you keep your bottles, do you keep in enclosed display cases? Will proper storage prevent discoloration of the juice? Anything related to your bottles and storage.

On Cartier Declaration. I used the aftershave in 2013. I could smell tge aftershave on my face and hand all day. The best performing aftershave I know off. This Summer I finished my EDT.
Funny enough that I was thinking about my collection, and Drakkar Noir would definitely make my top 5 solely on my nostalgic attachment to it.
Drakkar noir is and will always be a classic!!

Eau SauvageEDT use it since 1970 when stuent at University,a fabolous fragrance every collector shoud own.Today Xerjoff 40 knots.

Hey Ash I would love to but Creed Aventus but price is high and so are Niche fragrances how about a video with with listed flankers and which are the best ones to buy for a Big Bang for your buck there is a better one then Mont Blanc for Creed and I have heard of a club nuit maybe a video you can do

Hey Ash, which lasts longer declaration, tous or narciso?
For whatever reason the regular light blue just hits my nose a bit better. Idk why but the salty marine in eau intense is a bit too strong. I can do MI, Invictus Aqua in small doses, AdG, but can’t do Eau Intense and AdG Profondo is a bit much at times.
Yep same here as well though not a big fan of Light Blues anyway
Born in Roma has vetiver and woody notes. Of course it's kind of sweet and fruity (like Invictus), but you won't find that Invictus-like aquatic character in here. To me, Born in Roma feels more cozy, warmer, alluring and less synthetic than Invictus does.

Cartier Declaration will always be a classic daytime scent for me. I wouldn't even choose the other two

Yes, grab uomo intense if u like iris. It’s whole breakdown is a plush dry down of subtle iris, smells great, but doesn’t really change until the bottom notes which leave a great soft scent hours later

V&R Spicebomb, Bvlgari Man in Black. Not exactly the same, but similar enough and used for the same purpose that they're effectively redundant. Slightly better performance out of Spicebomb.
Givenchy Gentleman Only as well
I don't think Azzaro Wanted by night is similar at all to Valentino b in Rome. Azzaro w b n is extremely superior fragrance in comparison to Invictus too. Thanks for your presentation!
I have allure homme sport eau extreme but want allure edition Blanche, would edition blanche be redundant or do they smell/perform different enough to where I should own both?
They are so different. You should get it. Eau extreme is a tonka citrus bomb. The edition blanche smells like lemon and its more fresh.

I also do t think you need to own Eau Sauvage and Rochas Moustache 1949. Same perfumer, same classification but less notes with Moustache, and with 3-4 times the performance of ES.

Armani has orange, were eau sauvage is sour citrus heavy. Not the same for me. Eau Sauvage performs better on me. Lasts longer for sure. Armani is to tame.

So glad you mentioned that! I snagged Valentino Uomo Intense and found it similar to Givenchy Gentleman EDP as well. That said, I actually prefer the Givenchy 😍

Can you explain what you mean when you say one fragrance has better “quality” than another?
Lot of Houses will for example instead of Bergamot, they will try to make it worth your extra cash and list Italian Bergamont. Creed does this a lot.
A few mounts ago he said he prefers Armani code absolu gold over Armani code absolu so now he says otherwise. I don't know what to believe 🤔

This is compared to Invictus, like anything with a pineapple note is compared to Aventus. Who cares. if you like it, wear it. Who cares what other dudes think. All that matters is if you like it and women like it. You're not wearing it for other dudes....or maybe you are.

Don't Buy D&G Pour Homme (Master Reformulation versión), similar Scent but better price, Tous Man Intense.
Azzaro Wanted smelled like a freshly cleaned Indian owned gas station restroom I used to frequent. Didn't want to smell like that so it's a pass.
Try the Wanted by Night or the Most Wanted, both flankers which are superior to the original IMO.

Any one who likes Cartier Declaration,Needs to look into a niche house called Krigler. They have a scent called America One 31. The 31 is the year it came out. I have never smelled the Declaration but I own a decant of America one.Beautiful scent and I read that not only did JFK wear it,bit they say declaration is pretty much a clone of the Krigler,but the Krigler is better quality and has better performance. I wish Ash would review some of their fragrances

Gotta be honest, I prefer the original Light Blue because the saltiness of Light Blue Eau Intense is a bit too much.
