When I saw this movie, all I could think was, "why would they spend so much for the copyright of immigrant song, when Amon Amarth has a song about that exact topic!". I knew given long enough, somebody with editing skills would make this video and put it on CZcams. Hats off to you, well done!

However, I will say that at least they didn't pick what plenty of other movies these days, and most movies of its time pick some weird pop songs that don't even feel like they fit what they're used for. I'm not going to argue against what you said, since I do imagine this would work so well for a movie about a character with the title of the _God of Thunder_ after all.
Heck it doesn't even need to include the vocals for all those who say they may object cause of the guttural vocals the instrumentals are enough and if anyone's curious afterwards can listen to it with vocals.

I have no problem with people saying that they would want something from Amon Amarth to be in a Marvel Thor movie, and even I would put at least one Amon Amarth song if I were to handle what music goes in the film. HOWEVER, considering that Immigrant Song (labeled in Wikipedia as hard rock and *viking* metal) of all songs was put in the movie, that is still rare for a movie to put anything that is even close to a metal song. Most movies (no matter how big they are by any means) that DO use songs from studio albums often pick a weird pop song (example: the trailer for Murder on the Orient Express, directed by Kenneth Branagh), and you guys could agree that it would hurt a movie like Thor: Ragnarok. I also recommend keeping in mind of how many people in general know or care for any kind of extreme metal, coming from someone that doesn't mind those genres.

And they haven't even tried to unlock God King Thor's rune powers... cos' that'd be just too much to handle for Marvel.
