- I’m very lucky to have Bear sometimes to warm me of danger and that I’m not alone … so whilst looking through some amazing old photos and positions I was petrified to hear bear growl and run to the top of the stairs barking … but who was there
Come with Matt and bear as they explore this amazing abandoned house in the middle of Wales full of amazing old photos and pieces of history

I just love the variety of this channel. Its like watching Antiques Roadshow, Come Dine With Me, The Travel Show, Police Camera Action, One Man And His Dog, Time Team , Paranormal Activity and so much more! Please keep it coming!! 🥰🥰
Love this comment thank you
You are very welcome. Its all true. 🥰
Its true 😊
I love Bear and you! I think that you two are my favorite! I love how you check out all the old photos and have much respect for the places that you go into, and I love how Bear, just does Bear stuff. 😂❤
The tool in the sewing box, with the wooden handle, is a latch hook. These are used for making mats/rugs. Locally to me they are called proggy mats, also known as clippy mats. Traditionally sacking was used as the backing and this tool was used to pull fabric (rags) through to make a hearth rug.
My Mum used to make those rugs, we had one in front of the fire place.
So good seeing Bear doing his protection job♥️
I just love those old photos, I like to imagine what they did in their lives. Thank you Matt & Bear❤❤
I laughed when you defended pulling bear by the tail😂 the main reason terrier's tails are cut at birth and left that exact size , is for that reason . Cut so they dont break it hunting, but long enough so they can be pulled out of the critter dens they hunt into 😊
Yikes! That deep breath in the livingroom. Chills!
OMG! I totally heard it too! Matt reacted to it too! That's a great catch! 👍
Bear is a hero. Can't wait to find out what happened.
Oh Matt I hope you and bear 🐻 are OK after that nasty scare .please be careful and take care of yourself. I do enjoy your video's. 😮
What a lovely place,Bear is your protection please don’t be cross with him when he growls❤❤
Matt 100% When you said you felt like somebody stood behind you there was a deep breath out at about 26:30 It was NOT you as we hear your breath start just before & your speaking during the deep sounding breath!
It was a weird sound, like an exhale.
Definitely someone breathing behind mat!!!!
Just heard it and went to the comments to see if others did. Creepy af sounding.
Definitely heard that too, Matt was talking at the same time 😮
Heard creepy breath 😮
Awwwww Bear is rolling around on his back is so cute 😍 💕 ❤❤
Bear is just adorable! Watching y'all from Houston, Texas!
You r such a joy to watch...how u make up stories about the photos makes me smile. And I adore Bear!🤗
I love this thank you!
Those photos should be up in a art gallery!
I still can’t get over the fact that these personal items are just left to rot!
I know the generation like to keep everything, they worked damn hard for what they have. They worked hard to save and to hold on to things to pass down to the next generation.
They have items that their parents and grandparents gave them ti pass on. And it looks to be good quality not i ok not that a house with land.
But sadly the generation after them don’t respect the history enough to look after it.
I would like to have items like that
I’d love to have items past down to me.
Now people will be telling you to get boots for Bear! 🤣🤣 Never, ever, ever is there a boring video on this channel. Always great. Always interesting. Always entertaining. Always learn something. And you usually having me on the edge of my seat at some point, Matt. Outstanding! Absolutely love this channel (I know I've said it many times before, but it's so true!)!
When I was a child I wore glasses age 4 years old in the 60s ,they were like that
Love Bear! This was the laugh I didn't know I needed! You made me cry laughing with your silly comments. Thanks & looking forward to the next one!

you showed the deeds of my neighbours' farm !! . the wedding photo is of my neighbour, the grandson of the previous owner Mr Parry. You were literally 1 mile from my house, you should have popped in for a cuppa
You
@JohnJones-gd9cq oooo I could drink a cuppa now lol
thank you matt & bear for a great explorer
Giggling I don't even own a purse 😊😂😂😊
Awwwww Peter Rabbit books 📚 😍
It's a rug hook Matt, I've used them in the past.
Lovely to see you out on adventures. That's called a latch-hook in the sewing basket. lol
Pinking shears make a zig-zag edge unlike the ones you found. That was a brilliant explore with lots of interesting things left behind. Thanks Matt!
At 26:33 to 26:36 just before you mentioned that it felt like somebody was standing behind you I could clearly hear you talking...BUT.... there was another sound that I heard and it sounded like someone giving a huge dramatic sigh. If you listen from the marks I've listed it's clearly NOT you unless you can talk and make huge sorrowful or disappointed sighs at the same time.
Now I'm not saying that it's paranormal, I'm just pointing something bizarre out!!🥰❤❤
I heard it too!
Wow, I definitely heard that. thats really creepy
I heard that too
Listened back a few times sounded like a very deep breath when matt felt someone behind him
What a great find! Love "Our Daily Bread" recipe book!
Please don't forget that you are never alone in these places, spirits are watching over you, most spirits wish you no harm but will let you know if they are unhappy by going through their things, just let you know that you want to no harm and you are a peaceful friend and don't forget to live these places with blessings, always part of a cloak of protection with love and light before you enter these places, this all protect you incase.
Love these explores of old houses in the UK.
Hi me and my son loved your video last night we can't wait for your next one .❤

Perhaps the ghosts of strawberry 🍓 daiquiris past have come to haunt you and made your mood so funny and cheerful!😂🤣😂🥰❤❤🐶❤
I would love to see “Cooking with Mother”, it would be a great series!
My dad got someone to do our family history on both sides, my dad was born in Harrogate and my mother in Dublin.
We got birth and death certificates going back generations
That hook if for making rugs with..... My mam used to make rugs , and they were made with flowers and all sorts of patterns.

Fabulous video, Thank you for sharing this 😀
What an awesome little location! 100% a deep breath from behind you, Matt. I think the ghost wanted your bum! He sounded well satisfied. 👌👍❤️🐻
The guy in the very last photo looks like a chunky russian messi
But seriously, loved the video!! So nice to see you happy and enjoying yourself. I love the passion you bring to explores and the love you have for these people and their stories. Thank you!!
Bear is such a good boy! I relate to the middle name comment. My name is Ryan, I have two middle names, and my mom calls me Susie-which isn't one of my middle names. 😂
Thanks Matt that was so much fun.😊
Tubby little bear
I would love a cooking show with your mom and you. I would love to see all the old English recipes because I am from America and have no idea what they are. please do one???
LOL HORRIBLE BUTTONS.
Bear 🐻 is so cute always love watching that little guy explore.❤ 🐶🐕
Look forward to Sunday evenings when can watch the new explore. Sets me up for the week ☺️
I love imagining the families that lived in abandoned places. The stories the walls could tell. All the celebrations they would've had, Christmas, birthdays & anything else.
The posh dinner sets coming out for Christmas lunch & all the family wearing paper hats & laughing. The pride they'd have had in their home. Furniture waxed & polished, photo frames gleaming, glass sparkling. All that gone. All that is left are the memories of what we conjure up in our minds.
Great explore Matt….little Bear Boy will always protect you, he is a gem.Love to you and Bear from Tasmania, Australia.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Watching on a Monday night sorry as been poorly but this will cheer me up❤thanks Matt xxx
I don’t mind when you watch it as long as you enjoy it xx I hope you’re feeling better soon
@FINDERSBEEPERS thank you Matt always watch and always enjoy xxx
That was absolutely brilliant Matt 👏
Great explore Matt😊❤❤❤
It's a latch hook Matt for making rugs using a sack and cut up clothing that's no longer worn so you make rugs from them xx
Love that you went to Singapore My dad was born there I really hope that you enjoyed it there from the pictures my dad showed us and his words it really is a beautiful country ❤
Great explore Matt ! We got our first colour Tv in about 1971 weeks lived in a really poor area of the East end of London and I was in bed with German measles which I had also given to my dad. Our black and white TV died and my dad gave my mum an envelope of money which he had been secretly saving by giving up smoking. The amount he had saved was enough to buy one of the first colour TV’s - well done dad , I love and miss you 😘🙏🏼
Hi, Matt, at 50:44, the man in the little hat looks like an old-fashioned bell-hop and who for those who don't know, they are a hotel or club employee who takes guests to rooms, carries luggage, and runs errands. Another amazing video, thanks so much! xx
My second comment, but had to give a shout out to Bear…….he was warning n protecting you 🥰
If you feel bad about the tattoos being free, go to the same person but pay them instead of getting it for free. Then the ball is in their court to do it for free or even give you a discount if they choose to. You know that their work is good so I'd stick with them. 🥰❤❤🐶❤
That washing metal sink would make a great family BBQ. 😊
I love that you're feeling so rejuvenated ❤
I am a new subscriber and I just love your humor and the content you cover. I also want to say that I just love your dog bear as well.
Welcome xx
Great video. ❤
Hi Matt, that was for Rug making. Just catching up on your videos, I’ve not been well but getting better now.
0:54 bear THINKS that hes a Cat
Love you lots, Matty! Thank you for a great show!
I really love the stories you make up when you are looking at photos. I do this kind of thing when I am at a park or in store, watching other people and making up stores about their lives.
The photos were cool. Some looked a little creepy. Great house. !! Take care matt
Love all the photos you found
The washermachine at the beginning in the polystyrene is a WM Hotpoint from about 2001. It has a slightly more curvy front compared to the older ones from the 80s n 90s.
Matt, the tool in the sewing box that had a wooden handle is used for Latch Hook rug making. You push it thru & grab other end of yarn then when you pull it back thru it loops the yarn piece on itself. You do that over & over to fill the pattern by color to end up with a rug or pillow covering etc. Fond memories of my childhood in the 70's doing Latch Hook Kits & Pot Holder Weaving Kits! Remember those Potholder makers?
No joke, I have to have my Hips And my knees done, they are Gone, I can barely walk. Don't get this bad my friend. You LOOK WHERE I WISH I COULD!! ❤❤ LOVE TO YOU AND FREDDIE AND BEAR BOY!!!! 😊
I can remember the mittens with the cord 😂😂 happy days eh 😂😂
Love u guys from the uk ❤
Another brilliant explore, thanks Matt. Looking forward to next week's.
Thanks so very much for all your hard work. Every video is top rank. My favs are with your son & dad xx
My bear wants a hug ❤
It's a latch hook, it's used to make rugs and to repair runs in knitting.
26:36 Matt go check out this time mark. When you said I thought somebody stood Behind me, you can hear a breath exhale. I really don’t think it’s you because you were talking at the same time.
Uranium glass can come in different colours and patterns, most common in green
"the erb" 😂😂😂😂
Doris Evelyn Starkey. My grandma was Mabel Elsie but was always called by her middle name, Elsie! I love the old photos, and the people looked much older then for their ages than we do now. I really like the design of the pottery in that metal chest! Some well smart old books in there too! Bear's a good boy!
"haven't tried on glasses in awhile" 😏 Funny boy❤
Hi Bear! 👋
He would sort you out no end in that picture so help me god ❤
There are still great old things in the house 😃
TCP...... Man, that stuff stung like hell.......
Dude, seriously, you need to carry a mini first aid kit, brother! Excellent explore!!!
My opinion… if it’s too small to go to hospital it’s not worth a first aid kit … if it’s big enough then go to hospital
I through that swimming baths at school what looked like an asilum place
The loud exhale at 26:33!
Matt please take notice to Bear when he grows. The poor boy is just trying to protect you. He's such a good boy.
Another excellent video - the room you entered and said it felt Spooky and you said you thought someone was stood behind you before you said that there was a loud moan like someone breathing out deeply ! did you notice that ?
