I'd just ended a traumatic relationship, and started waking up at 5am every morning, meditating for an hour outdoors, and then hitting the gym before classes. What an awesome routine that was

And I probably fell into the common trap of missing a day, and then giving up on the everyday routine. Talk about synchronicity, it's been a while since I checked out your content, I decide to search your name on CZcams and this video pops up with uploaded 1 min ago right next to it... You always have good advice Luke... Last time I was killing it was when I was really focused on diet and exercise back in 2014-2015, exercised and diet for about a year... Found everything started falling into place when I was focused on health.

@@astronomicalhero8927 absolutely! It helps me to know that my comment helped you, so thank you.. Tbh, today actually makes a month that we broke up and I'm just now starting to feel okay about it. It still hurts a lot, but I've been trying to put my focus more and more on the future and what it is that I want to do next. A quote that has helped me lately is that "it's more important to focus on what we do want than what we don't want" That and gratitude has been another big focus of mine. It just takes time though. Those first couple of weeks I was in a really bad place, but I reached out to friends and went out hiking in nature which also really helped. Everything does happen for a reason, but sometimes we just can't see it in the moment. Life is lived forward and understood backwards as they say. I hope that helps some and good luck to you on your journey 🙏

When i lived away from my parents for a few months i definitely felt that focus and hustle. For me survival mode is what activated that feeling. It's such an amazing feeling to have a laser sharp focus to accomplish my goals to survive as well as to chase my passions. After a while though the routine becomes stale and the drive dissipates especially after moving back with my parents. I really want to tap into that energy again but for me i think gaining independence and living outside the comfort of my parents is the only way i know how to do it.

I was "killing the game" for 4-6 months this last year when I started taking physical mental and spiritual heath very seriously. I was on a sort of spiritual high that increased consistently, until one day I was overcome by a demonic sort of darkness that lasted for about a week that exposed the egoic and contradicting nature of all of the spiritual practices and beliefs I was indulged in. I called out for Jesus to save me because I had an experience during this week that led me to start reading The Bible. Ever since this happened I have been truly growing spiritually, and everything that is going on in the world makes so much more sense from having a biblical worldview. I have a sense of peace that is far beyond anything I have experienced in my life of reacting to the world and the unloving things that have happened to me. I now know where I will spend eternity, and that is with God, solely due to the fact that I have faith (John 3:16).

People push this ambition to get money and it ruins them. Spiritually and any other ways. All of this system is soon crashing and people will be held accountable for their actions as its said in the Bible. Most of the rich people now, are the worst people there are. Stay humble and turn to Father. All money and posessions will vanish really quick. And its happening soon.

It’s great when you build positive momentum with something you’re trying to achieve, I tend to only ever ruin this positive momentum when I try to rush things.
Take weight (fat) loss for example, I’ve lost a lot in the past by building good habits and achieving positive momentum doing this, I tend to ruin this for myself if I try to rush it by going too strict and creating binge eat tenancies create negative momentum for myself. I’m in a good place right now, this video was great.

the only periods where i can say i was killing it was when i let everything else aside and devote myself into something. I do not use that word lightly, devotion as in offering as much of my time as possible into doing what i know i need to do and want to, but haven't done for so long. Self control is akin to a fight, a battle, a struggle and the feeling i associate with it is pain, devotion is not a fight, it does not involve resisting pain. It is surrender, it is acceptance that you've already lost the battle and accept that there's no other option but to work on what you need to work on.

As someone who aggressively pursues their goals, I have to agree with you 100% with this video! The key word, like you mentioned, is momentum - consistently making progress on your goals, even if it’s small steps. The last time period I was absolutely killing the game was from 2017 to 2022 (still slaying the game even to this day haha). Long story short, from 2014 to 2016, I kept getting rejected by girls over and over again when I tried asking them out. I lost count of the number of rejections but they ended up hitting the double digits. So I thought to myself, “What happens if I stop chasing girls and start chasing my goals?” At first, I did this for kicks. Over time, I ended up on many long streaks of achieving goals in life. I found a better university course, got a better job, made new friends, bought a car, published a book, started a new gym/diet routine, significantly improved my physical/mental/emotional health, went to space (just kidding lol) and found your CZcams channel :)

The only time I've felt that way is when I was committed to building myself up. I've just had a panic attack because I've just screwed up this new job. I really tried and gave it my best but I didn't have that feeling of incredible drive and like I was killing it. Only when I live for God, when I move towards my higher self do I feel that way. It's been a while since I really did that since I've been struggling with porn addiction, anxiety, depression C-PTSD sort of stuff.
I've always been interested in self improvement and the times I do feel committed it is great. But right now I'm not in a good place and don't really have much support. My parents are going to kill me when they see that I've fucked up this job. I'm not legally permitted to do 90% of work due to not taking the highly safe and effective vaccine that just happens to prevent neither infection or transmission of this apparently deadly virus. Are you allowed to call it a vaccine if it doesn't prevent infection or transmission, or is it just an experimental gene therapy at that point? I feel lately the opposite of what this video speaks on, but yeah I've felt that way before.
I'm getting close to rock bottom. All I want now is to seek the great comforter. Maybe if I connect to the vastness of being I can bring peace to the world around me. I can see myself committing all of my being to serving the most high and to bring peace to the hearts of all of those struggling. If there's any game I'd want to kill, it would be that game. If I can find deep peace in higher being, then I can bring that to people and help them. I can see myself committing to that.
    Thanks if you read this.
