When using hair spray I would suggest using a pump type sprayer and covering the subjects eyes with your hand.. Some photographer would spray their hand with the spray and put it on the hair. So many eager attorneys around!

Fine job, Sir. Question - do you shoot in B&W? I see your LCD screen showing what appears to be monochrome. Please confirm and explain the benefits of this. Thanks!

Thank you for watching! No, the LCD is color. It's just the huge color temp difference between it and the video balance.

What kind of set up do you have to change out backdrops quickly?

I use a 4-roller motorized 10" for my most used canvases. I generally just clamp my various muslin backgrounds to to the ends on the motorized canvas. Matching floor pieces are just laid down.

The first half is on a canvas called "Classic Garden" painted by Terry Larson / Photo Showcase Backgrounds. A copy of the design may still be available from Denny Manufacturing. The session's second half is my signature muslin background, "Kelly Beige" which is available from Backgrounds by Maheu in canvas or muslin in a number of sizes.
