- Today we Remembered George on what would have been his 81st birthday, by visitng the picturesque town of 'Henley on Thames' in Oxfordshire, England with a short walk from his local 16th century pub inn The Row Barge, (where one night he jammed and upset the neighbours)... to Friar Park. Great video thanks for sharing - i never would have thought Friar Park was this close to the town i always imagined it was tucked away - a bit of a drive from the nearest town - now i know - thanks again and God bless you and your daughter
Thanks, it is just a short walk from the town and though you cannot are much, it has a vibe and makes you realize just how large the grounds are. The town is very beautiful. I have more videos and will post them. 🙂

Being from Brooklyn, NY I had always assumed Friar Park was a long drive away from everything. I’m shocked to see the close proximity to other people’s homes. Thanks for the video….very cool!
@@loveisreal4296 Thanks, the town of Henley is beautiful to walk around next ti the river, so much history and many great cafes and shops and of course the Regal cinema which George helped save and I went to see The Concert for George at. 🙂

Thank you for this little tour. It's a lot different from 12 Arnold Grove. When you think of all the musicians who got ripped off over the years at least The Beatles got some of the riches that they deserved. That's probably after being ripped off themselves too in some of their business arrangements. I'm sure they could have made a lot more money with the best financial advisers of today.
Thanks, Inlove visiting the place, out of all the Fabs, George certainly lived in a place of beauty and peace. Obviously this was ruined by an individual. Henley is a delightful town to visit, especially in the summer. 🙂
One day I'll travel from the other side of the world and get photographed standing outside the gates. Who knows after being acknowledged by Olivia Harrison with a couple of likes on her official instagram I might get shown around the gardens and recording studio 😂
@@Ad.Dd.James. There are many that would simply love walk around the stunning garden and grounds, I can never imagine it happening, but it would be mentally and visually breathtaking for sure 🙂❤️
