  • Final episode walks you through the final assembly and first chips made on the revitalized post drill. It’s an amazing piece of machinery and works well!

You must be a car guy too, I see a 4 post lift in the back ground and you were using a ball joint tool. Next time you are at Harbor Frieght you should pick up a brass punch. You did a great job. I’m going to keep an eye out for one of these for my shop.

Yes, love cars and everything about them, except when your daily driver breaks or won't pass inspection, then its just a hassle. My favorite car project, the Datsun 280z, you can see in my profile picture. That was before I did videos, but I have a lot of pictures of the transformation that I may make into a slideshow video.

👍that turned out nicely, if you had sold it you should have thought about selling to a fitness centre, at least they could have sweated to some use.😅

As a follow up from my comment last video, re not knowing what the "counterweight" was for,
as soon as I saw the drill upright on the wall and the gear with the cam installed, it hit me, it's the advance for the automatic "power feed" wheel on the top.
I should say I have seen this type before, my nephew has my grandfathers old post drill( a bit smaller), which he has restored, but I haven't seen that drill for ~25 years, so my memory of it is not so good.😁
