This game would be 20 times easier if you had an in game map so I wouldn't spend 45 minutes wondering around the house because you can't spend more than 20 seconds in a room without getting chased by crazy ass ghosts
Pick up Dolores key next to living room door, go to mirror room, activate the scare there, search the mirrors for houses, when u hear the walking in the attic and come across that scene, head to the parents bedroom and interact with the ceiling, go to religious room and the hook is in the picture
I just got this for ps4, and I can only play in increments. About pissed myself 3x, got startled too many times to count by normal activity in my household (gf getting off work opening the door, cats running around, daughter in the kitchen)...probably the scariest, simplest game I've ever played, and I played just about all of the console horrors.
i found that my game DID NOT HAVE THE CANDLES on the wall at 34:34 as of PC patch 3.04 skip this step only and continue as normal. just forget the candles
For anybody that's in the puzzle room with the clocks for the torches or not on the wall they've removed them and you now have to leave the center window closed as opposed to having all three open
In this chapter I picked a photo up that was underneath the front door and it vanished kind of like the Hot chocolate. Is that an achievement? Do I need to look for the vanished photo somewhere else around the house?
not really those are like comic type of pages,its from a book in one of the rooms upstairs that have been torn off,you will see some throughout your gameplay,dont really know what they do but im still playing ir hopefully i find out soon
I’m at the 19:29 part I can’t get past the hallway she keeps stabbing me HELP! 😭 Edit!!!! After 5 tries, a mental breakdown and contemplating restarting. I finally did it I have found the dead guy and the small key. Now ONWARD!
The clocks on the wall dont have hands what am i supposed to do? Edit: After equipping the monitor you have to 'use' it inorder to hear the numbers, long press left/right mouse button and it should work...only after that the hands on clocks will appear.
Using this vid as I've been stuck for a couple days without the crowbar. I lost it and I don't even remember how. Any idea how I can get that back? Props for the vise/orb bit. Didn't even think of that as my focus has been on searching for my crowbar. Stopped watching once you got outside with the compass as I'd like to continue blind once I get my item back.
In the basement there's a storage room with a big metal cupboard, all of the required story items should spawn there if you drop them, if it's not spawning there it's a bug and you'll probably need to join the discord to make a bug report, hope this helps. :)
It's funny I think I broke the game maybe, just stuck in the house with the basement door chained up, the garage door locked, the dryer has no garage key, and I literally rubbed my face against the entire house available to me and pfft..NOTHIN. I know I didn't get the garage key before though when you did, so I guess I missed my chance?? or its bugged?? idk..
i glitched out and had to redo the dolores chapter. but im hearing that i have to start a fresh game. i already did the other 2 chapter and those are way more of a pain in the ass to do than this chapter so i refuse to do it if me just redoing the chapter doesn''t fix it
Any idea how to get out of a death loop? My sanity is super low and the game has auto saved inside the mirror in the progress room and all the electricity is out in the house so as soon a I step out I’m instantly killed. And I’m also out of lighters and pills. Haha
Did you make sure you interact with the clamp first to open it before you insert the sphere? That’s the only reason I can think of that it won’t let you place it in. Other than that I would join the discord and ask for help there!
Yes I did, I opened it up first and then went into my inventory.... I have no idea why I won't let me. Am on Xbox, maybe I need to aim better but before I open my inventory I have made sure my cursor is over the vice where it even says interact and then again over the space of the vice..... rip me. P.s. thanks for replying though, appreciate it
It is! I'm pretty sure in the mirror dimensions insanity doesn't apply. It's been a while since I recorded but I believe I also turned off the HUD so you can't see the sanity meter pop up during the house sequences.

When I take the sledgehammer out it sent to storage room and the door to get to the storage room is chained up.
